THE NEXT DAY

I walked out from the hospital. I slept there the entire night beside Megan and Hunter. I saw everyone with grief on their faces. I heard an argument. I quickly walked over and saw Gabriella's group together arguing with a couple of people from my community including Mabel and Aydan. Will grabbed a knife from his belt and walked forward. I quickly ran to him and pushed him back.

"Step the fuck back! What the hell are you doing with a knife? I took all of your weapons away" I said.

Will tried to a stab me but I quickly dodged it. I grabbed his hand and kneed him in the stomach. He dropped the knife and I kicked him to the ground. I picked up the knife and put it in my side pocket.

"Aydan take him to Arman and ask him where the cells are. Lock this dick head up. Now!" I said.

Aydan grabbed him and quickly took him to Arman. I turned around and faced my group.

"Now what the hell are we arguing about" I asked.

"We all believe that they are apart of the Silent. I mean they showed up when Gabriella's group came out of nowhere. Don't you think that's a little odd?" Mabel said.

"We're not apart of those sick bastards" Gabriella said.

I faced Gabriella.

"Why did Will attack me then?" I asked.

"I don't know maybe because Mabel threatened all of us. Will got scared and pulled out his knife" Gabriella said.

"And tried to kill me. Tell me why you aren't apart of them" I said.

"You guys would be dead back at Underdale if we were apart of the Silent" Gabriella said.

"That doesn't cut it. Put these guys in the cell as well. Only for a few days. Until we get to the bottom of this. We need to play it safely now" I said.

I slowly walked away as everyone grabbed them to chuck them into a cell. I sat down on a chair nearby and held my head up. I had a massive headache waking up to all this arguing. I don't have the strength to do this at this time of day. I saw Mabel walking up to me. She sat next to me.

"What's up?" I asked sighing.

"They are all in a cell" Mabel said.

"Good. I need to go speak with Arman" I said standing up.

I walked towards Arman quickly. I spotted him.

"Oh hey Sam! Meet our new member. Her name is Lauren" Arman said introducing me to a girl who looked around my age.

She has short brown hair up to her shoulders. She has blue eyes and is kind of short. I put my hand out.

"Nice to meet you Lauren. I hope you like it here" I said.

She shook my hand.

"I'm happy to be here. This place is amazing" Lauren said looking around.

Her voice sounded familiar. I've heard it somewhere before. I don't know where though.

"Well Arman. Is there anything we can help out with. I really want to help you out with something for letting us come in to your community" I said.

"No theres nothing that needs done. Wait. No actually I know something that we need. We are running low on supplies. It would be nice if you went down to a supermarket or something to get some food for us" Arman said.

"Alright will do. I'll get a team together and we will head out right now" I said walking away.

I ran up to Mabel and Aydan who were both talking to each other.

"Hey guys would you like to come out with me for a food run?" I asked.

"Yeah alright. I need the fresh air" Mabel said.

"You mean rotting corpse air. I'm in as well by the way" Aydan said.

A couple minutes later we were heading off in a car.

"So where are we going to go?" Aydan asked.

"There's a place near Underdale. I've been there before. At the start. I don't think it's been fully searched so we are checking there first" I said.

It took half an hour but we finally made it to the supermarket. We got out of the car. A few Walkers came walking up to us. I took out my knife from my new holster on my leg and stabbed it in the head. I took out the other two as we walked in. We closed the doors.

"Stay safe. Meet back here later" I said.

We all split up. I walked past the game shop Kiara, Alleigh and I slept in. I also walked by the skeletons of the people I killed.

"Shit" I said.

I walked over to the grocery store. I walked in and grabbed a shopping trolley. I started to chuck a whole heap of food into the trolley. When I got to the bread isle I heard something fall off the shelves, followed by quick footsteps. I grabbed my revolver from my holster. I heard movement behind me. I quickly turned around and saw someone in a dark coat jumping at me with a knife. We fell to the ground. He didn't talk. He must of been part of the Silent. I grabbed his hands and pushed the knife towards him. I saw another silent running towards me from behind. I quickly kicked off the Silent and grabbed my revolver.

*BANG*

*BANG*

I killed them both. We must of been followed here.

"Aghh help!" Mabel screamed.

I quickly stood up and sprinted towards them. I noticed I was cut on my arm. I ignored it and quickly ran to Mabel. I saw Mabel laying on the ground. Her head was smashed in. I could see her brain and her skull was completely shattered. I looked away. She was still moving and she was trying to talk. I aimed my revolver at her when another silent jumped me. I heard a gunshot and I looked over at Aydan crying holding a gun towards the Silent on top of me. I got the Silent off of me and stood up.

"We need to put her down" I said.

I fell to my knees.

"No. No, why did this happen. Fuck! Fuck!" I yelled.

I punched the ground as Aydan cried over Mabel's body.

"She's fucking suffering. We need to put her down" I said crying.

"No. Stay the fuck away from her. She is fine. She will come back to life. She will be fine" Aydan said hugging Mabel.

"Are you fucking crazy!" I said as tears started to fall down faster down my face.

"Fuck off or else I'll shoot you!" Aydan yelled.

I laid down on the ground for a while. That's when I heard movement. I got up and I saw Mabel was awake. But she was a Walker.

"See she's fine" Aydan said.

Mabel went to bite Aydan. She bit him right on the shoulder.

"Argh!" Aydan screamed.

"Shit!" I yelled running over to him.

I grabbed Mabel and put her down.

"You are a lunatic!" I screamed.

"You killed her! You fucking killed her!" Aydan screamed.

He ran over to Mabel's body and grabbed her in his arms. He rocked her back and fourth.

"Kill me. Please. I want to be with her" Aydan said.

I stood still and looked at him. It was weird how easy it was for me to kill. Since the start of this I didn't want to kill anyone. But now, I can pull the trigger easily without even thinking.

I slowly took out my revolver and aimed it at Aydan's head. He was still rocking back and forth and crying. His tears were making Mabel's shirt wet.

"I'm going to turn anyway. Just shoot me" Aydan said.

I put the gun against his head. I could feel him shaking.

"I'm sorry Mabel. I couldn't protect you. I'm sorry. I tried. Now it's time. We have to be together. Like you told me. Together forever. I love you" Aydan said.

Tears started to fall down my cheek. I took a deep breath in.

*BANG*

Blood squirted out from his head and went all over the ground. He fell to the ground. I stood still and looked Mabel and Aydan. I fell to the ground and leaned on the side of the wall. I cried into my hands for a few minutes. Mabel was my step sister. Now she's dead.

I could hear a few zombies to my left. I looked over and saw a horde of about twenty Walkers coming in through the doors of the supermarket. I slowly stood up and took out my two knifes on my leg holsters.
