"Anastasia!" I yelled out to Anastasia.

"Yeah?" Anastasia said turning around.

"Well, Kane just finished my prosthetic foot. So I was wondering if you could maybe drive me there" I asked.

"Um. Yeah ok. I'll just finish my job off first and I'll be there" Anastasia said walking away.

I sat down on the edge of a bench. I saw Gabriella walk over to me and sit next to me. She looked up at the oval.

"This is some place you have here" Gabriella said.

"Yeah. We went through hell to get it to this point. We had to go through many groups" I said.

"If you don't mind. We told you our story. Could you please tell me yours?" Gabriella asked.

"Ok. I guess that's fair" I said taking a breath in.

"Well it all started here. The teachers made a system. Were we would all help each other, to get this place safer. But one day the leader, changed. He sent students out beyond the walls to search for food and supplies for a week. I mean fourteen year old kids, out there with three other fourteen year olds. I was selected. With a few others. Jia" I paused for a moment.

"Kiara and *gulp* Alleigh. We lost Alleigh a week ago. She was one of my best friends. Well anyway. That day I killed my first people. Three of them, or maybe four I don't really remember. I killed them because they killed Jia and they were about to kill my other friends. I saved them and we got back to Underdale safely. But the leader changed even more. He killed innocent students and locked the others up. After a while with no food we all escaped. We took over this place, we put the leader in a cell. But we then got attacked by people. A man named Heath. Killed about eighty percent or more of us. Well some of us escaped and we were out there alone. We came across new communities. We made friends. But we also met enemies. Like another man called Thomas. He tortured me. Killed a lot of my people. Killed Kiara. So we killed him, and only a few days ago we killed Heath. But he killed Alleigh, and now we are here. The leader I was telling you about. He's still out there. His name is John, or Mr. Harris. That's my story. Well at least the short part of it" I said.

It was silent. Gabriella took everything I said in.

"But, you're only a teenager, and they did that all to you?" Gabriella said.

"The new world is cruel. No one is safe" I said.

"I'm sorry. I'm truely sorry" Gabriella said putting her hand on my shoulder.

A tear ran down my face. Thinking about all the people we lost. All the people I knew. It makes me sick how many people we have lost. All my friends. I'm the only one left from Underdale. All of the rest are dead. I stood up and wiped the tear away from my face.

"Shit. I'm sorry I shouldn't of talked about it" Gabriella said standing up.

"It's fine. I gotta go. Make yourself comfortable" I said walking away.

I walked up to Anastasia. She looked at me and noticed my eyes were teary.

"Are you ok?" Anastasia asked.

"I'm good. Let's just get going" I said hopping into a car.

Anastasia got into the drivers seat.

"So we are heading to Mount Barker right?" Anastasia asked.

"Yeah" I said.

She turned on the car and headed towards the gate. Jeremy opened the gate and let us out. Jeremy and I haven't talked much since I told him to leave Hunter alone. He was pretty embarrassed when I told him to back off.

We turned off onto the main road and headed towards Mount Barker. It was another long trip but we made it. We stopped the car in front of the gate.

"Who is it?" The guard said pointing a gun at us.

I winded the window down. I stuck my head out.

"It's me. Sam from Underdale" I said.

"Nice to see you" The guard said opening the gate.

Anastasia drove the car in and parked to the right. We both got out of the car. I grabbed my crutches out of the car and Anastasia helped me walk in. I saw Ana coming out to greet us.

"Hey guys" Ana said.

"Hey. This place is looking really good since the last time I saw it" I said.

I looked around and saw crops growing all around the community. They also had their own water source.

"Yeah. We sent a group out a few days ago. They got a few items we can use for the crops" Ana said.

"That's good Ana" I said giving Ana a hug.

Anastasia and Ana both hugged as well. We all walked in.

"Anastasia it's fine if you want to take a look around if you want to. Sam and I will be finished up soon" Ana said.

Anastasia walked away to take a look around. Ana grabbed me and helped me walk towards the blacksmith.

"You're gonna love the prosthetic foot. It's great" Ana said.

"I'm sure it is" I said.

We walked over into the blacksmith and I saw Kane standing at a table. He turned around and looked at me.

"Hey Sam. Nice to see you again" Kane said giving me a handshake.

"Nice to see you too" I said.

"Well here it is" Kane said handing me the new prosthetic foot.

"It has adjustable sizes so when you grow you can adjust it to your foot. I made it have a longer leg strap to make it slip less and also to make it more comfortable. It also has a knife holster on the side so you can hide away a knife" Kane said.

"This is... this is... Kane. This is amazing. Thank you" I said.

"No problem. Anything to get you to trust me again. I haven't said it yet but I am truely sorry for what I did to you. How I treated you and what I did to Hunter. I hope you forgive me one day" Kane said.

"Well this is a big step to me trusting you" I said.

"Well try it on" Kane said.

I slipped it on and adjusted it to my size. I walked around the room for a while and it was very comfortable.

"This is great" I said.

Kane handed me another knife holster for my other leg so I can store two knifes at a time. I shook Kane's hand.

"I got something for you to pay you" I said.

"It's fine. I'm trying to pay you off" Kane said.

"No. Take it" I said.

"I don't need it trust me" Kane said.

"Ok. Well thank you again" I said giving him another handshake.

Ana and I both walked out. The new prosthetic foot felt like I had my old foot back. Anastasia walked over to us.

"Well. It's getting late. You guys probably want to get home" Ana said.

"Yeah" I said.

"It was nice seeing you guys" Ana said.

"I will probably be back for another visit" I said.

"I will mark it on the calendar" Ana smiled.

We all said goodbye and Ana walked us to the car. I walked to the back of the car and handed Ana a box full of tomatoes and a few chocolates and sweets.

"Give half of this to Kane please. Even if he says no" I said.

"Ok. Will do" Ana said.

We got into the car. Ana waved at us as we drove back towards Underdale. The sun was slowly lowering and the moon was rising. We made it back to Underdale when the sun was setting. It was still bright. We parked the car and got out. I went to Hunter to show her my new prosthetic foot and we all sat around the campfire. Sharing stories to the new group. They seemed nice. I think they wI'll be good people. It was a good night.

"Sam! We have a problem!" Jeremy yelled out to me.

I looked over and saw Jeremy looking out over the gate. I ran over and climbed up to the guard post. I saw at least a hundred people all in one group holding torches and lamps. They all also had knifes in their hands.

"Who the hell are you" I asked.

One of them stepped forward. The person had a mask over their face.

"We are the silence. And we are here to kill you" She said.
