Lodur, Prince Agnar, (E) human, son of King Agrid Lodur of Lyonisia.
Lodur, King Agrid, (E) human. The ruthless hereditary King of the Aesirie and Lyonisia. Known as Lodur the Invincible. Father of Prince Agnar. Lives in Mannheim.
Logi, (W,K) human, Wizard of the Council of Wizards. Killed by the Deev.
Lokias, The Northernmost country of Arishamal. Home of the wolves and their tribes. The capital is Lokus, where the royal family lives.
Loni, (W) moose, leader of the moose tribes during the Kahlisian Wars.
Lupaas, The capital of Michelmakinak, land of the rabbits. It is almost entirely carved out of pink sandstone.
Lyzera Cratch, (W) female weasel and General. Killed by Kashar for questioning Kahlis.
Malvus, (W,K) human, Wizard of the Council of Wizards. Killed by the Deev.
Marcus, (K) human, 1st leader of the Auriat wing of the Aurian Brotherhood which produced the Nuereian prophecies and later became The Scarlet Brotherhood.
Markus, (W) sable, colonel under General Dukas at battle of Gleneden. Led first major ground assault.
Maromar, (W) mole, second Yogi of the moles. Discovered the great Lens which made life in Gleneden prosperous.
Max, (W,K,E) parrot, loving friend of Ellios. Dedicated and constant companion of Orange Willum Crookfang.
Mauby, (K) a stoat, first mate to Captain Redbush aboard The Flying Fox.
Memza Barus, (W,K) wolf. Warrior, minstrel, and historian of the Lokian Tribes. Close friends with both King Frega Tarchak and Yogi Yogi. Author of The Lokian Chronicles and Journey of the Wolves.
Merrimar, (W) mole and grandson to General Auger.
Minga-te-Meris, (W,K) mink, Prince of the Minge. Son of Meris the Cruel. United the Lokian wolf-packs and became first Lokian King. Changed name to Temeris. Sacrificed himself so than Bactora Berain could be King.
Micabo the Great Rabbit, (W,K,) rabbit. Lord and Ruler of Michelmakinak.
Minga, A once great city of Morgaard whose zenith was during the reign of Meris the Cruel. It is the hereditary home of the minks. Though it had fallen into disrepair, it began to experience a renaissance and though the oceanfront is frequented by pirates and disreputables, the interior has a thriving middle class.
Minge, A general term to describe the mink tribes.
Michelmakinak, The island kingdom of the rabbits, located on Arishamal in the Alpsa Sea.
Miranda, (W) diminutive rabbit and dear friend and playmate of Robbia Verratus
Mobus, (K) mink. One of the Deev. Minge Captain under Colonel Taos.
Morgaard, Called 'The Dark Kingdom' because of Various cruel and ambitious dictators including Khalis. It primary inhabitants are weasels, ferrets, and various migratory beasts. Its dark past was repaired by the leadership of Governor Chumley Bilgespike, whose progressive policies helped bring hope and prosperity to its once victimized population. It's capital is the Black City of Thoth.
Nawby Tarroo, (E) sea-eagle, orphaned and raised by pelican, Blephus. Friend to Gladiverserac and the great sea-beast.
Neurites, a secular brotherhood created by Gadral Neure which later became The Guild of Assassins.
Oberst, (k) mink, a Deev officer in charge of a squad, captured by Herman Corkspike at the Sugarmill.
Odette Escrown, (K) an otter, daughter of Ophelia and niece of Otto.
Ogorth, (E) otter, a candidate for apprenticeship to the Wizards and possible future membership to the Council of Wizards.
Orgor, (K) stoat, head of the Stonemasons Guild in Thoth.
Ophelia Escrown, (K) an otter widow. Her husband was taken by the Gleaners on Xenoth as a supplicant for Xenophus. She is the older sister of Otto.
Orange Willum Crookfang, (K,E) cat. Pirate, smuggler, and privateer. Began as a smuggler along with Chumley Bilgespike. Became a privateer raiding Kahlis' ships during the war. His brother and most of his original crew of the Dark Devil killed by the Scarlet Brotherhood.
Otto Escrown, (K) an otter. The brother of Ophelia. He is an opponent of the Scarlet Brotherhood and ally of Egbert Bartholomew.
Ownie, (K) human, member of the Metal-Workers Guild in Thoth who helps Winnie Corkspike make a glass sword for Herman.
Ozab, (K) mink. Brother of Azmeritus. Formerly in Scarlet Brotherhood, became hermit in protest to brother's agenda. Helped Castaways fight the Brotherhood.
Parius, (W,K) human, Wizard of the Council of Wizards. Killed by the Deev.
Pelicus, (K) mink, older brother to Azmeritus and Ozab. One time High Priest of the Scarlet Brotherhood, killed by Azmeritus, who assumed the position of High Priest.
Pellus, (W,K,E) the oldest member of The Council of Wizards. Liberal and optimistic. Likes to whistle and speak to the stars.
Phoebe Moler, (W,K,E) a duck. The adopted ward of Egbert Bartholomew. An aspiring librarian.
Pithus, (W) black rat Commander under General Dukas
Plaxus, (W) mink, a Colonel serving under Dukas.
Port Saud, A once great city of The Lands of Man during the Golden Age, now a lazy seaside port popular with tourists. Its primary exports are dates and high quality sand.
Porto, (W) human, colonel and chief artillery officer of General Dukas at battle of Gleneden. Killed in battle.
Prask, (W) stoat, governor of Morgaard, killed by Kahlis when she assumed power.
Prevus, (K) human, last true Grandmaster of the Guild of Assassins. Passed his title and property to Herman Corkspike for the kindness Herman showed him.
Quaras, (W) mink. General to Kahlis. Acted as a spy against the Evyans. Kidnapped Phoebe. Turned against Kahlis and sided with the Kryll Lord Kashar in a coup de'tat. Assumed the identity of General Dukas and took command of the armies attacking Gleneden.
Quintis, Camarac, (K) human, Doge of Seth-e-Raman when Gadral Neure first emerged from the desert.
Redbush, (K) pirate captain, a fox. Captain of The Flying Fox. Hates the Deev.
Revus, Prester, (W) Stoat, one of the conspirators aiding Zaphyr against Azmeritus. Beheaded
Robbia Veritus, (W,K,E) rat. First animal and female wizard on Council of Wizards. Adopted daughter of Grand Magus Vattus. Only Wizard able to visit Arisha.
Rubitar, One of the two great magical stones that are the wellspring of magic on Eylysia, the other being the Abitar. It is especially powerful in controlling the weather, remote viewing, and magnifying the power of spells. The Rubitar is kept in Wiccannis by the Council of Wizards.
Salis (W) stoat colonel under Quaras. Faced and lost to Gleneden forces on the Great Glacier. Captured.
Salto Scratchback, (K) male head of the Scratchback clan along with sister Gella and younger brothers, Trey and Cat. A master scavenger.
Sapphire Mountain, Located on The Plain of Mists in Evyan, it is the home of Arisha.
The Scarlet Brotherhood, A doomsday cult that evolved from the Neurian brotherhood, a spiritual organization founded by Gadral Neure.
Scragheart, (W) weasel and soldier, first casualty in battle of Gleneden
Sebastian Thoris, (W,K,E) a weasel. Formerly Prime Minister to Khalis who ended up opposing her out of conscience. Saved Phoebe and was made an honorary mole by Yogi Yogi. Suffers from a speech impediment. His best friend is Chumley Bilgespike, but he is respected and well-loved by many.
Sempris, (W) rabbit, General in charge of Michilmakinak's troops
Servig Tarchak , (W) wolf leader and older brother of Frega Tarchak killed in the Lokian Genocide by Quaras at the behest of Kahlis.
Seth-e-Raman, The greatest of the harbor cities. The center of trade on Arishamal, located in The Lands of Man.
Shana-thoth-Meris, (W,K) mink and Prince of the Minge. Son of Meris the Cruel. Conquered Morgaard and Cragga Island. Founded the city of Thoth which was finally completed under the rule of his son Resha-ter-Meris
Shimmy, (K) a stoat and old sea-beast. A former pirate fallen on hard times.
Sigus, King, (K) human, King and Doge of Seth-e-Raman. Friend of the Wizards and sympathetic to beasts.
Sigur, (K) human, Wizard of the Council of Wizards. Killed by the Deev.
Siska Parlock, (W) wolf, commander of the Lokian Guard in Castle Thoth under Kahlis.
Skaar, Bishop Yagun Skaar, (K,E) human. Rescued from the desert by Azmeritus. Loyal member of Scarlet Brotherhood. Searching for purpose in his life. Re-evaluates purpose and devoted himself to helping Deeb Shatus in his quest.
Snark, (W) a snake and devoted companion to Kassidy Blacktongue. Is known as The Great Serpent though he is diminutive in size. Lives in Shadeth Swamp.
Squeeker Fishpaw, (K) ferret. Hard luck non violent criminal by circumstance. Dedicated to his large childlike brother.
Squawker Fishpaw, (K) ferret. Older brother of Squeeker Fishpaw. Basically a large child.
Stach, (W,K) human, Wizard of the Council of Wizards. Killed by the Deev.
Starb, (W) stoat, Captain in charge of the giant auger meant to breach Gleneden. Killed in battle of Gleneden.
Stoles, (W) sable, commander under Colonel Stoles during battle on the glacier.
Talus, King,(K) human, last King of Seth-e-Raman to acknowledge the Guild of Assassins.
Tamarak, (W) human, wizard on the Council of Wizards.
Targas, (W,K,E) creation god, worshipped as the father of Eylysia. Also called Targas the World-Drinker. It is said that in times before memory, the entire world was covered in water. Targas wanted to rest, but having no where to lie, began drinking the seas until the Island Continent was uncovered.
Tarsch, (W) a demonic Kryll, brother to Kashar. Captured and eaten by Arisha.
Tearis, (W) human, mother of Khalis, member of the Council of Wizards.
The Lands of Man, The southernmost country on Arishamal, primarily inhabited by humans. Its capital is Seth-e-Raman
Thoth, Called 'The Black City' because of its being primarily constructed of black marble. It is the capital of Morgaard and was founded by the mink warlord, Shana-thoth-Meris.
Tinro, (W) mole and First Citizen of Gleneden, the equivalent of mayor.
Tonguescab, (K) pirate captain, a weasel.
Tor, Prester, (W) Weasel, one of the conspirators aiding Zaphyr against Azmeritus. Beheaded
Tors, (W) rabbit, Prime Minister to Micabo, Ruler of Michilmakinak.
Trebar Shotar, (W,K) wolf and Colonel in the Lokian Legion.
Trey Scratchback, (K) rat and member of the Scratchback clan along with brothers Salto and Cat, and older sister, Gella. A scavenger.
Ursamus, (K) polar bear. An apprentice blacksmith. He is plagued by guilt believing he accidentally killed the son of a Lokian official. He ran off and ended up stranded on Xenoth.
Vareena, (E) human girl, last surviving Guardian of the Eye of Aligor, in the Temple of Guardians on Azereem. Travels with her protector, Clevus, a porcupine.
Vasheron, (K) Prince of the Minge and Deev. Aloof and Arrogant. Originally head of their Royal Guard of Meris the Cruel until he slaughtered him at Darus' instruction. Made immortal and banished to Xenoth for eternity. Escaped with help from Azmeritus. Determined to re-establish Deev dominance on Arishamal.
Vattus, (W,K,E) human. High Magus of the Council of Wizards. Adoptive father to Magus Robbia Verratus
Velesia, (K) squirrel, old jeweler in Thoth who makes spider necklace for Robbi as a gift for Gladiverserac.
Venz, (K) human, 1st Grandmaster of the Guild of Assassins. Originally the leader of the Aurites, the temporal and martial wing of the Aurian Brotherhood.
Voltas, (W) human, brother to Kalishar and uncle to Kahlis. High Magus, poisoned and killed by agents of Kahlis in a successful plot to steal the Rubitar.
The West Wind, The ship used by the the castaways to escape Xenoth and then to transport the Asherouboros for its confrontation with Xenophus.
The Windspirit, The ship used by the Deev after their escape from Xenoth.
Wiccanis, The Capital of Aolas. Located atop the Holy Hills, it's largest structure is the palatial complex of Schloss Muttiberg which house the Council of Wizards.
Wilbur Bartholomew, (W,K,E) mole. A prince of Gleneden. Son of Yogi Yogi and nephew of Egbert.
Winky, (W,K,E) a stoat and constant companion of Groggs. A deserter from Kahlis' army. Became a fisherbeast in World's End.
Winnie Corkspike, (K, E) hedgehog and younger brother of Herman Corkspike. Apprentice glass-blower.
Wirress, (K) ermine, head of the engineering guild in Thoth.
World's End, A northern seaside town of Lokias. One of the very few towns untouched during the Khalisian Wars. It is situated on the rim of a submerged volcanic crater, which forms its bay.
Wormwart, Whylis, (W) stoat and General of the Thothian forces. Appointed by Kashar.
Xasus, (K) marten, a Prester in the Scarlet Brotherhood, private secretary to Azmeritus. His diary outlining Azmeritus' abuses convinced Ozab to leave the Brotherhood. Killed on Xenoth.
Xenophus, (K) Ürgod. A creature from the beginning of time that nearly consumed the entire planet. It was nearly destroyed by the Rubitar. It remained trapped under Xenoth until Azmeritus' dedication to its resurrection.
Xenoth, The Unknown Land, for centuries it was a magical prison for dangerous beasts. Surrounded by an impenetrable magical shield, it trapped unlucky mariners on its shores. Also the resting place of the trapped Urgod, Xenophus, after whom it was named.
Yellowtooth, (K) pirate captain, a nutria.
Ymiresh, (K,A) ice dragon. The Dragon King, originally the Asherouboros. Transformed through with the help of Arisha's venom.
Yogi the 1st, (W) mole, first leader to unite the mole tribes. Discovered the mountain that would become Gleneden. All subsequent mole leaders would take his name as title of office.
Yogi Yogi Bartholomew, (W,K) a mole and hereditary King of the Moles. Resides in the great mountain city of Gleneden. Father of Wilbur and Digger, brother of Egbert.
Zaphyr, (K) a weasel. The Chief Acolyte of the Scarlet Brotherhood. Although originally loyal to Azmeritus, he is doubtful about some aspects of the High Priest's plans and betrays him out of self-interest. Fed to Xenophus.
Zian, (W,K,E) a ferret and one time foot soldier in Kahlis' army. Both wounded Egbert Bartholomew and saved him, losing a paw which was later replaced by a mechanical one. Killed the traitor Quaras who was in the guise of General Dukas. Moved to World's End with wife, Lily. Good friends with Winky and Groggs.
