Onyx swung his flail at the ship. It didn't even dent it. Sapphira groaned shooting magic at the ship with her wand. Nothing. Leafa threw her disc at the thrusters. It coughed, but soon started falling onto the beach.

"RUN!" Spirita screamed picking up Steven and running. Everyone followed hiding behind a rock. The ship crashed on the beach in a loud BOOM! Connie peaked from behind the rock. She gasped in fear as a 'person?' walked out. She ducked her head back behind the rock.

"I know you're here! I literally watched you shoot me down!" The thing joked. Everyone emerged from the rock, weapons at ready. The person smirked at them while putting his hands up playfully. From it's skin color it was obvious that it was a full fledged gem. It was in a girl body so I might as well call it a girl. She had purple skin with dark blue hair. She had blue clothing. Yup totally a home world gem.

"I'm Moonstone!" She smiled. Ok she's cheerful.

"Why are you here?" Leafa snapped, her eyes turning into slits. Moonstone was shaken back. Her smile still stood but they could tell that it turned fake.

"Simple! I got notice that Jasper and Peridot landed here on this filthy planet," Moonstone stated. Her voice was now cold. Moonstone summoned her weapon. It was a beautiful blue scythe. "I'll be starting my mission now! Bye bye!" She giggled running swiftly away from them.

"Did that literally just happen?" Onyx asked them. They all nodded slowly. Everyone went into the temple.

"I'll make the special breakfast!" Steven announced. Connie smiled offering to help.

"I don't like her..." Leafa mumbled.

"Oh really genius!" Spirita said sarcastically. That made Sapphira smile a little.

"Well I don't know what her plan is on how she's going to find them, but I'm pretty sure it includes hurting some people. We shouldn't have let her go," Onyx told them. Sapphira sighed. She noticed how the girl held the scythe. She looked super strong with it! Suddenly a screams aroused from beach city. Everybody ran out side to witness a small fire emerging from the clothes store. Leafa ran over to it, tears in her eyes. This was the place where she had officially become friends with Steven. This was the place that she marked her place in beach city... This was the place where Steven had led her straight to Spirita...

"Oh did I do something wrong?" A sincere voice snickered. Leafa turned around only to be met by Moonstone by her face. Spirita ran up behind Moonstone and jumped on her. Moonstone threw Spirita at Leafa. Sapphira transformed her wand into her original sword. She ran ready to cut Moonstone, but Moonstone was ready. She dodged quickly in the process of kicking Sapphira, but Sapphira continued to try and cut the gem. Onyx watched waiting for the perfect moment to attack. There! He lunged into the battle which Moonstone was winning and spiked her in the back. Moonstone brushed it off groaning.

"ANOTHER ONE!" She groaned louder as she ran her scythe into Onyx. Being lucky, Onyx moved over so he could only be cut on the cheek. She laughed. No one had even made a scratch on her until the moment Leafa threw a disc at her. She thought she dodged, but only saw a strand of her long blue hair falling to the ground. "YOU STUPID FOOLS! YOUR'E SO DEAD!" She raged. She pushed everyone together. Her eyes shined white as her feet lifted of the ground. Steven looked around for help. Nothing. His friends were going to die! He ran in front of them. The light blinded everyone. Once disappeared Moonstone looked at her masterpiece, but instead her eyes widened in amazement. Steven had used his shield.

"Rose? I can't believe my eyes! Rose!" Moonstone smiled, her feet returning to the ground and her eyes going back to purple. Steven looked at her in confusion. From using that shield he quickly stumbled to the ground. She snickered. "I worked for you ya know? Remember me? Ever since you died and those selfish gems became worse I left ya know? I wonder if you'll be selfish like them if I did this!" She yelled punching Steven. Everyone screamed at that sudden movement. Moonstone threw Steven at the flaming building.

"Well I guess I'll see you guys when it's time for me to leave! Bye!" She laughed devishly dashing out of sight. No one cared... Steven was in a flaming building, possibly dead by now. Spirita ran inside with everyone screaming after her. She saw him. His shirt was catching on fire and was sneaking its way to his face. She grabbed him and ran outside. Moonstone couldn't stay on this planet... If she did then Steven could have the risk of dying. They had to get her off.

Sapphira sighed sitting on Steven's bed next to Onyx. Everyone else was outside pondering on what to do. Onyx looked at her in an intense way.

"What are we going to do now?" He mumbled. She shrugged burying her face into her knees. She didn't want to be an outlaw again. If anyone knew that Onyx and her could've fused and none of this would've happened then they'd unfriend them. They didn't want to be the only ones left though. If this continued everyone would perish. Onyx patted her back.

"Onyx... For the first time in my life I don't feel safe..." Sapphira whispered. Onyx nodded in response hugging her tightly.

"We've gotta fuse though..." Onyx muttered under his breath, Sapphira nodded hugging back. No matter how much she didn't want to bring "her" out of her shell, she'd have to if she didn't want everyone to die...

"Where is Peridot! She should've sent me a signal! At Least Jasper tried, but those gems are right above Jasper!" Moonstone groaned. Suddenly she got a signal of where Peridot was. She was in a neighborhood looking for Jasper. Moonstone grinned slightly. Time to go destroy!

Leafa and Connie were walking home. It was late afternoon, but the sunset was still beautiful.

"I really don't like this..," Connie sighed. Leafa looked at her. She didn't like it either. Steven was extremely hurt, Everyone was weak, and they didn't know anything about the enemy! From the looks of it, if Moonstone tries to find Peridot and Jasper than she'll probably destroy everything in her path as well. Connie screamed making Leafa look away from Connie. The whole neighborhood was on fire! Leafa quickly got out her cell and texted everyone.

"Connie stay back!" Leafa ordered running into the neighborhood. She quickly picked out two individuals. Moonstone and Peridot fist bumping. Leafa ran towards them throwing her disc at Peridot. It hit her glasses making her turn her attention to Leafa. She laughed.

"WE'RE HE- OMG WHAT HAPPENED!" Spirita began her eyes widening. Everyone gasped at the monstrosity. Sapphira gave a worried glance at Onyx. Steven who was still recovering looked at Peridot with a worried expression. Peridot's mood dropped once laying eyes on him.

"You..." She muttered getting one of her gem shockers out. She lunged towards Steven shocking him. It didn't do much though. He stumbled backwards. Spirita ran in front of him signaling Onyx to go in with his flail. Onyx summoned it and swung it at Moonstone. She dodged punching him in the face. He stumbled back a little, but he quickly was back on his feet. Sapphira ran in front of him and shot multiple fire balls from her wand. They hit Moonstone, but damaged her barely.

"Peridot! Let's get Rose first! Please!" She pleaded. Peridot nodded allowing Moonstone to cut him. Spirita looked at Steven, horror in her eyes as she saw him. He had cuts that were leaking with blood. He fell to the ground barely alive. Sapphira screamed looking at Steven. They had held it back way too long. They had to fuse now... Onyx got the idea. Sapphira quickly danced with him causing them to fuse. There she was. 8 ft. tall, Coral.

"Oh I'm so happy to be back! Why'd I have to be kept away for so long?" She pouted. She shrugged it off giggling. "Let's play!" She smiled, her voice was fun but cold. She summoned a hammer. (Yes I just did that)! Coral ran towards the two making sure to smash Moonstone into the ground. Peridot looked at Coral in horror. Coral saw her and smiled wider. She smashed Peridot into a wall. The wall crumbled onto Peridot as Coral looked at everyone else. They all were amazed at Coral. Suddenly Moonstone sliced Coral on the arm with her scythe. She stumbled, but in the process kicked her farther into the ground.

"Sapphira? Onyx?" Steven asked with fear. It was like their personality changed completely. Coral looked at Steven and nodded. "Don't hit them anymore!" He yelled just as she was going to hit Moonstone again. Moonstone whipped her head around to face Steven. He walked over to Moonstone.

"Why are you fighting us if you were once a friend?" Steven asked her. Tears filled her eyes.

"I don't know..." She mumbled looking away. Peridot ran in front of her.

"Well we're leaving!" She grumbled. Moonstone shook her head with a grin plastered across her friend.

"Well be back sooner than you want us to, but first let me leave you a little present!" Moonstone laughed. Her feet hovered in the air as a white light formed around the two. They were gone. Finally! The moon was coming up just beyond the horizon. Coral unfused to reveal Sapphira and Onyx. They smiled hugging eachother.

"We did it!" Sapphira high fived Onyx. Onyx pulled her into a hug making her blush. Leafa saw it and smiled.

"What is this I see?" She teased. Onyx looked at Sapphira's face. He blushed with her. "ROMANCE!!!" Leafa screamed doing the jazz hands. Spirita smiled poking Sapphira. They smiled at eachother.

"I think I just might like you!" Sapphira giggled making Onyx smile.

"I think I might like you as well!" Onyx told her. Their moment was ruined from the sudden BOOM coming from the sky. Everyone turned their heads towards the moon. It stopped moving. No movement. The stars stopped twinkling. The ground began to shake rapidly. Steven's eyes widened in fear. It was just like the gems had told him.

"STEVEN WHAT'S GOING ON!"

Yup I'm closing off ideas for awhile! Something serious is about to happen, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be awesome! I made this chapter in a couple of hours last night, so any grammar errors are not my fault. I FINISHED GMASS! IM SO HAPPY! It was a week of complete silence! I hate it that one grade is still testing though! We still have to be quiet for 2 more weeks. 😑 ugh, but on the bright side PARTYING! NO MORE LEARNING!!!! *grabs shades* beast mode 😎. Also go follow XXRomeoXJulietteXX ! She's my bestie! She just won't write, but I'm still bribing her! Hope you guys are excited! By the way there's a quick sketch I did of Sapphira and Onyx!
