Felicity ran facial recognition and got a hit on Harkness, so in minutes we were running off to the train station, attempting to catch him before he ditched. 

Barry ran ahead and moved all the civilians off the platform, leaving Harkness as the only one left. I crouched my way towards him on the top of the train.

Barry ran Oliver in and Oliver aimed his arrow at Harkness, as soon as he did me and Roy hopped off the trains, landing almost right behind him. "Get on the ground" Oliver commanded.

Harkness chuckled, looking around at us. "Why would I want to do that?" He asked.

"You hurt a friend of mine" I spat.

"Do you really think there's anywhere in the world where we can't find you?" Oliver asked. "The Canary has connections and The Flash has the speed... I have the bow"

"Which is why I have a contingency in place" Harkness smirked. He pulled out a device pressing a button in illuminated red. "Five bombs planted through Starling. Now, you can stop me or you can stop the bombs, you can't do both"

This was not going to end well, god... When does a 

"Bombs are armed. In 90 seconds, this city will be on fire" Harkness spat.

"Go, take Canary" Oliver whispered. Barry ran, picking me up and running.

"Guys! Harkness just triggered five bombs throughout the city" Barry said. 

"We don't know where," I said. I could tell Team Tech was working on locating the bombs, so I decided to do something. "Barry put me on the old Palmer Tech building, I have an idea"

Barry put me on the building and ran off again, I looked around and scanned this city. "What are you doing Canary?" Caitlin asked.

"I know this city better than the back of my hand, Harkness doesn't," I said, looking around. "He would've put them in places easier to get to as a civilian, check the Mall on Jordan Street and the Park on the 18th street"

"She's right, one at the Mall, one at faith and flowers, one at an apartment building on Lefton and Rhodes, one in a parking lot on York, and the final one is in an office on Hamill street," Cisco said.

"I'm close to Hamill, I'll take it," I said, pressing my tether and flying off. 

"Be careful Canary" Barry warned.

"Canary, press the button on the side of your mask," Cisco said. I did as told and heard a small beep. "I put mini-camera in both of your suits last week"

"Do we know what type of bomb I'm looking for?" I asked, sneaking around the office. I saw a red and silver box with a bunch of wires. "Nevermind found it"

"Don't try disarming it yet," Felicity said. "We think they are all connected"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"One blows, they all blow"

"We have to defuse all the bombs at the same time," I said. "But even with super speed, Barry can't get to them in time"

I heard absolute silence, listening for anything. "It's the undertaking all over again" Laurel sighed.

"I have a plan, but you all need to be prepared," Barry said. 

"Okay, just do it," Felicity said.

I waited by the bomb, looking at the different wiring. "This is familiar," I said.

"What's wrong?" Felicity asked.

"These are the same bombs Edward used," I said.

"Wait, as in..." Roy asked.

"As in the guy that tortured me and Oliver on Lian Yu" I sighed.

"Disarm them now, worry about how Harkness and Fyers know each other later," Felicity said.

"Okay, how do we do this?" Roy asked.

"Everyone has to cut their wires exactly on 3" Cisco announced. I pulled out my dagger and prepared to cut the wire. "1... 2... 3" I cut the wire, preparing for a blast. I held my breath before relaxing a little. "Screw you Captain Boomerang"

"Another win for the team up" I chuckled, leaning back and sighing.

"Hallelujah"

I made my way to the hospital room where Lyla was, holding baby Sara and her bag. "Hello?" I knocked. Lyla sat up fully and smiled. 

"Hey," She said.

"She was getting restless with my father," I said, "I also thought you'd like to see her"

"Did you catch him?" Dig stood up as I gave Baby Sara to Lyla.

"Yea, we got him" I smiled.

"Thank you" Lyla smiled, taking my hand, "Best Godmother ever. Which is why you'll be the first to know, we're getting married again"

"What?" I asked. Dig smiled, taking Lyla's hand again.

"I just asked" Dig said.

"Oh my god, congratulations" I smiled, "Oh! This is exciting"

I walked around the bed and hugged Dig. "Thank you Avery" He smiled, hugging me back. 

"You'll be my maid-of-honour right?" Lyla asked.

"Of course," I said, leaning on the bed. "I'm so happy for you guys"

"Thank you, Avery. You're the best..."

"Some of the STR marker on the DNA sample has degraded but I've got a computer back at the lab that I think will help fill in the gaps," Caitlin said putting the arrow away.

"Thank you, Caitlin," Felicity said.

"I'll let you know as soon as I have the results," Caitlin said, "I'll call next time"

"It's cool, you guys are fun" Roy smiled, "Plus, it's nice having our Canary back"

"Oh, does the street-smart arsenal miss me?" I teased.

"Hardy-har-har" Roy sighed, "It is nice having you around again"

Barry and Oliver made their way in, putting away their equipment. "Oh, did you finish business?" Cisco asked.

"Harkness is now cellmates with one Slade Wilson," Oliver said, glancing over to me. "He sent this through the ARGUS guards"

He handed me an envelope with my name on it, I took it and tore it open.

Dear Avery,

     I hope this letter finds you in good health, but I know it won't find you as happy as you should be.
     I've gotten the news about your sister's death and wanted to send you my condolences. I remember how hard it was for you when you accepted she might be dead during your first months on the island, how you narrowly miscarried due to it. 
     I wanted to also offer you advice. Your dark side, the side you try to hide, you can't keep it from your new guy for long, you might as well show him, cause if you don't... It might just ruin it all. Take it from someone who hid their dark side from their kids and wife.
     When you find Sara's murderer, scream him insane.

I refolded the paper and looked at Oliver, "How did he find out about Sara?" I asked.

"I don't know" Oliver sighed.

"You okay?" Barry asked, walking over and grabbing my hand.

"Yea, just... He always finds his way back into my life" I said, tearing the paper.

"Well... In some okay news" Felicity jumped up, rushing to the old fogged glass case I stored my suit, which now had another beside it.

"What is it?" Barry rushed over to it as well.

"For the next time you're in town" Oliver crossed his arms.

"They'll be a next time?" Barry asked.

"I'm still calling the shots," Oliver said.

"Oh Ollie, we've grown on you" I smiled.

"Don't test me, Avery" Oliver glanced at me. 

"Come on Ollie, I think we deserve a rematch"

"Before that!" Cisco said, pulling out a box. "We have a gift for you to" He opened the box to reveal a new suit. Polymer kevlar, it's 25% lighter and you can carry 15% more gear. I've got designs I'm working up that I'm really excited by"

"It's, uh. It's subtle" Oliver smirked.

"I wanted to replace the hood, but Felicity said it had sentimental value," Cisco said.

"I would've killed you if you replaced it," I said, Cisco chuckled but realized I wasn't kidding.

"Thank you" Oliver smiled at Cisco.

"Anytime" Cisco replied. 

"One last present," Caitlin said, she pressed a button that unfogged the case my suit was in and revealed a new Canary suit.

"Huh," I smirked. 

"More protection from meta abilities," Cisco said, "Heat, ice, you'll be able to withstand it"

"The choker has also been updated, you'll be able to test it when we get home," Caitlin said.

"But, why not break in the new suit where it all started?" Cisco suggested.

"What do you say, Ollie? Like the old days?" I turned to him.

"Suit up, Canary"

Oliver and I jumped through the open window and I landed a few feet from some robbers, "You clearly haven't heard" I swung my bo staff around and took a stance. "The Canary's back"

One of them charged me, but I jumped back before swinging my bo staff again and knocking him to the ground. "Watch it! She's a meta-human!" Another exclaimed.

I smirked before letting out a cry and making them hit the floor in agony. "There's still 2 in the vault," Felicity said.

"I've got em," Laurel said, swinging down and running to the vault, Thea behind her. I grabbed a few zip ties and began tying up the robbers.

"It's great to have the band back together" Dig chuckled.

"I mean, she'll always be the Archer's Canary" Barry sighed.

"No... She'll always be her own Canary"

My father once told me men would fight over me like I was Helen of Troy, but that couldn't have been more wrong. Men gave me up so I could get a better life, handing me over to another Prince that they could hope would make me a Queen, and to be honest, that is way better than starting unwanted Wars... But who knows? These boys need to knock each other around again eventually...
