It's been a few days since the incident. Asra and the others have been doing their part to assist with the current red plague situation. Lucio never once wanted them back in his room after Nadia's earful yelling. Y/n has been providing help for Julian in his office. Sending letters, retrieving letters, documents, bringing in snacks and of course making Julian lighten up. Y/n waltz in his office bringing in samples requested by Julian. 

 "Here Jules. I che—"

 Julian snatches the samples from Y/n's arms and stares at it. 

 "Hmm. Fascinating." 

 Julian quickly scribbles on a parchment and waves to Y/n to leave. 

 "Asra was right." Y/n said sighing.

 They turn to their heels to leave until a voice spoke making them stop.

 "What are you saying?" Julian's sad voice rang in the tiny space.

 They hear boots tap and feel a prescence hulking behind them. 

Y/n turns around to see an upset Julian. They stare at his eyes. 

 "Asra's right. You're a mess." Y/n said.

 Julian's eyes widen and then looks away. 

 "You wallow in this office as screams of many people go on. You scribble and scribble and still get no answers. You pretend to find cures until you result to leeches. You exhaust yourself." Y/n pointed out. 

 Julian huffs and crosses his arms still not making eye contact. 

 "It's not easy." Julian blurts. 

 "No it's not and it never will be easy. Especially when you deprive yourself the right to sleep once in a while or atleast have a break with us." Y/n said pleadingly. 

 Julian finally looks at Y/n with a sad look. 

 "Please Julian..." Julian looks down on his feet giving up and then nods. 

 "There's no point in making you leave until I do so, yes?" Julian asks staring at Y/n with an exhausted look.

 Y/n gives him a small smile. 

 "No point in trying. Come on!" Y/n said while dragging Julian. 

 They made their way to the up the stairs, leaving their aprons and gloves and went to the lift and into the garden they walked. Soon, they ended up finding Asra, Muriel and Nadia sitting at the center of the maze. Asra lifts his head up and smiles at their direction. 

 "Hello, you two. Care to join us??" Asra said with a bright smile. 

 Julian's face turned a bit pink as Nadia giggles.

 "Surely the doctor would not stay away from such delectables infront of him? I heard from a sly fox, that you enjoy salty bitters. Come and join us." Nadia beckons us to join the little picnic they had prepared.

 "O-Ofcourse countess. I wouldn't dream of taking down an offer." Julian said as he sat beside her.

 Y/n sits across them and in between Asra and Muriel. Muriel tenses a little and Y/n noticed. They gave Muriel a reassuring smile and nod as they scoot closer to Asra. Muriel sees this and gives a small smile and quickly hides it before anyone notices. 

 "So? How has it been with your lovely apprentice?" Nadia starts the conversation. 

 Nadia and Julian quickly start off a conversation. Y/n reaches out for a small tart in the middle of the picnic mat but Muriel reaches out and hands the plate towards them. Asra watches this and notices a faint blush on Muriel's cheeks. He smiles. 

 "Thank you Muriel." Y/n grabs two danish tarts and gobbles then down. 

Muriel puts the plate back and nods while taking a bite from a piece of bread. 

 "That was sweet Muriel." Asra teases. 

 Muriel looks away and listens in to Nadia and Julian's conversation. 

 "I take it, it worked?" Asra whispered to Y/n.

 "Obviously. Look at how relaxed our bestfriends are." Y/n whispered looking at Julian and then at Muriel.

 "Muriel was a bit hard to get here but we managed. How was Julian?" Asra asked.

 "Couldn't resist my cuteness hehehe." Y/n said teasing Asra. 

 A small laugh came out of Asra's mouth. He places an arm around my shoulder and kisses Y/n's cheek. 

 "You're too adorable even for me. I'd do anything for you, Y/n." Asra said, eyes filled with love.

 "Anything??" Y/n smiled. 

 Asra looked at Y/n with a shock of realization. He did not just say that. 

 "No... I'm not doing it Y/n!" Asra said while turning red. 

 The others then turn to Asra and Y/n. Their smirk appeared and it made Asra regret what he said. 

 "No." Asra said crossingg his arms. 

 "Come on! Nadia needs the smile. Julian and Muriel are stressed and I'm too adorable for you." Y/n said while batting their eye lashes.

 "Uhh.." 

They all look at Asra and Y/n in a weird way. Asra sighs and then gives in with a mischievous smile.

 "Help me." Asra said.

 "Oh no no no. You take Ilya with you." Y/n said with a smile. 

 "He'll enjoy it." Y/n said while looking at Julian. 

 Julian looks shocked and in his eyes a bit afraid. He knew Y/n as an extreme person who would do anything to cheer people up and he knew, this was going to be a strange way to settle nerves. Asra sighs and then gestures Julian out of the maze. Y/n had a mischievous smirk on her face. Muriel faces Y/n with an eyebrow raised.

 "Don't tell me you're going to make them dance?" Muriel said making Nadia confused. 

 "Dance? What type of dance? Is that why they left?" Nadia asked.

 "Oh you'll see." Y/n said with a proud look on their face.

Muriel and Nadia raises an eyebrow and looked at each other in confusion. A few minutes later, Asra and Julian appear in hula skirts and flowers on their necks and hairs. Muriel stares in shock and Nadia looks impressed. Y/n smiles at them and nods.

 "This is not what I had in mind. But, do I rock in this outfit!" Julian said as he did a dramatic pose.

 He sways his hips and does a little dance. Asra on the otherhand, stands in embarassment.Suddenly, he gets pulled by Julian and they do a little dance.

 "Oh my. They do look hmm cute in that." Nadia said laughing a little. 

 Y/n waves her hand and floating instruments appear. Music starts as both Julian and Asra dance. They started out awkwardly dancing, shaking their hips and doing hand movements until they became in sync. They produced a wonderful graceful dance with the hula skirts. Asra suddenly snaps his fingers and the music changes. Asra and Julian's clothing changed back to their original clothing. It was a song that would be heard in the ballroom. The Kingdom dance. 

 Julian starts with Asra as his pair as they do a little jive approach to find partners. They did a small bow. Julian pulls out his hand for Muriel but Muriel quickly shies away, telling him that he doesn't want to do it. Julian shrugs and goes towards Nadia and offers her a hand. Asra does the same at Y/n. They both take their hands. Nadia smiles and Y/n laughs. The boys circle the girls and then the girls circle the boys. Their hands touch at the center as they glide away from each others hand and then back. They did a small waltz until the music became lively. Julian and Asra slide together in the center starting clapping and confusing their partners. Just like in many parties they lead the dance. They twist and twirl their partners allowing their partners to be at the center as they tease them in the slightest ways to a competition. Muriel watches this as he eats some cookies. The boys starts off with a goofy and dramatic dance. Their partners sway their clothes and twirl around the boys and then suddenly Nadia leads the dance with Y/n by her side. They do a more dramatic pose and glide across the garden and twist and turn and moving their arms so gracefully. The boys follow their partners while never breaking contact with their eyes. Asra eyes Y/n as she gracefully feels the music and then begins to jump while dancing lively followed by Nadia on her side. They dance and link arms while turning clockwise and count clockwise. They spin as flower petals appear out of nowhere. They danced with their hearts content and continue. The boys suddenly joined them making the girls turn and throwing them away and then pulling them back. Suddenly the girls take over and enjoy and then fall to their feet laughing. The boys join in including Muriel. He watches as they settle back at their places in the picnic. 

 "That was intense! Y/n and Countess! You both were amazing! I didn't know you two could dance like that!" Julian said laughing, still having the adrenaline and energy pumping.

 "You weren't bad yourself, doctor." Nadia said as she laughs nudging Julian. 

Julian's cheeks turn pink under Nadia's gaze. Nadia catches this and laughs.

 "You were all really good." Muriel said eyeing each of them with a small smile. 

 "Thank you, Muriel." Y/n said still out of her breath. 

 "You were really amazing Y/n! You should really teach me how to dance." Asra said while turning red. 

 "Indeed! I never saw such bright and lively moves! I would never dread the idea of being taught how to dance by a great friend." Nadia nods as she slowly gets her breath back. 

 "Mhm." Muriel nods.

 "Just listen to the beat and follow the rhythm." Y/n said while wiping their sweat. 

 "Really rowdy for a doctor magician." Julian said taking a sip from his salty bitter. 

 "Oh shut up. I'm not really that great of a dancer. I just feel the beat yknow?" Y/n said looking away in shyness.

 "You were amazing, Y/n. Don't sell yourself short. You're already too short for that." Asra said smirking before sipping his tea.

 Everyone bursts into laughter as Y/n sits there in disbelief. They playfully punch Asra on the shoulder and pout. 

 "Rude." 

 Asra and the others continue to laugh. 

 "Atleast I'm not a white haired old man walking around and avoiding rent everytime I ask for it." Y/n spat back. 

 Everyone "oohsss" and looks at Asra. Julian spat out his drink as he laughs hysterically. Asra looks baffled.

 "I'll have you know I'm not old, Y/n. I'm just charming that way and second I don't avoid rent. I just have places to be." Asra said with a pride look.

 "Oh. Like the courtiers? Disappearing everytime?" Y/n said.

 Asra looks away, hiding the tint on his cheeks and then smiles to look at Y/n. 

 "I always come back don't I? Plus, now that I'm working closer to you, you'll get sick of me. Seeing my face everywhere." Asra jokes. 

 Y/n looks at her drink smiling. They then look up and eyes everyone. 

 "I love that all my friends are here with me. Close to me. It's comforting to know that I'm never alone. I...love that." Y/n said smiling at everyone.

 Everyone smiles and takes in the day. Y/n's little mission ended up in success. Everyone was loose and happy even for a little while.

 "I hope we get to do this everyday. A little break away from everything would be nice to have." Y/n said voice filled with relief. 

 "I must concur. A break is much enjoying especially with the people you love. But Alas, duties call." Nadia said with a sad tone. 

 Muriel nods and so does Asra and Julian. Y/n puts their cup down and looks at them. Her eyes once filled with happiness now had concern and sadness in them.

 "Please. Atleast for today. Take some rest. Unwind and relax. I know the plague has been hitting us badly but everyone needs a break before we explode." Y/n pleadingly asked.

 "It's took a toll on us all. Julian won't stop until he finds a cure leaving his health behind. Muriel and Asra are out there doing Lucio's biddings to an extreme extent and Countess, you've been at this for so long. You're never happy and always stressed. Will one day kill you?" Y/n blurts out everything she had on her mind.

 Everyone stares at Y/n for a while. Y/n shifts under their gaze. 

 "Y/n..." Asra is the first to speak. 

 "You keep on telling us to relax but you never tell yourself that." Asra points out. 

 "You're just as important and stressed as we are." Nadia said in a calm tone.

 "Maybe we've all been too hard on ourselves lately and Y/n's plan was to keep us relaxed and that includes you too." Julian points out while looking at Y/n. 

 Muriel sighs and looks at Y/n.

 "You did drag us all here. Should enjoy it." Muriel shrugs and looks at his glass of black mead.

 "Should stay for the day." Muriel said before he takes a sip.

 Asra nods and then nudges Y/n.

 "If that's what makes you happy and relaxed, I'll stay for the rest of the day here, with everyone." Asra said holding Y/n's hand and giving it a tight squeeze.

 Faust appears with everyone's familiars and lays/ perches beside them. 

 "Chandra says the castle is at ease and doesn't need tending too. That concludes that I'll stay for the rest of the day." Nadia said sipping on her white wine

Malak squawks and Julian feeds it a corn kernel. 

 "Malak thinks so too as long as there's food." Julian laughs while saying this. 

 "Inanna agrees." Muriel says while petting her. 

Inanna curls beside Muriel and lays her head on Muriel's thighs.

 "Faust says Lucio's asleep so we'll stay." Asra said looking at Y/n with loving eyes. 

 Y/n's eyes sparkle at their words. They begin to cry with happiness. 

 "You don't know how much this means to me. I— thank you..." Y/n wipes her tears. 

 "We must thank you for bringing us together on this fine day, Y/n. After all it was you, who planned this. Right Asra?" Nadia said looking at Asra.

 Y/n's eyes widen and then raises her brow at Asra. It was only Asra they told about the plan. Asra's face turns pink and looks at Y/n while scratching the back of his neck.

 "I might've told her your plan.. hehe." Asra said.

 Y/n rolls their eyes and then laughs.

 "As long as we're all together." They said smiling. 

 "Soooooo? A game of cards anyone?" Julian said as he revealed Asra's tarot deck.

"I'm in!" Y/n said with enthusiasm.

Asra holds out his hand to Julian. Julian scratches the back of his neck and hands it nicely.

"Next time, I'm keeping this close to me, Ilya." Asra said while shuffling the cards and looking straight at Julian.

Soon, they started playing. Once in a while they laugh, they tease and they end up in silence enjoying the day. Today loosened them up for tomorrow's duties. They were happy and relaxed. Familiars playing and enjoying themselves while their partners are doing the same. 

Today was a day to remember.
