Hell of A Party

~Asra's POV~

I saw Y/n coming out from the veranda. Their mask was off and they looked worried. I approached them and they seemed to be in another world.

"Uh Y/n?"

Y/n flinched and then looked at me surprised.

"Oh hey."

They held their head as they continued to look around.

"Have you seen Muriel? Or Lucio?" They blatantly ask.

"Uhh. Lucio's over there on his throne entertaining guests and as for Muriel, no I haven't seen him. I thought he was with you. He went out to the garden following you earlier. Is something wrong?" I said as I was a bit worried.

Y/n looked at me, clearly giving me an awkward smile.

"Uh yes! Everything's fine. Just tell me when you see Muriel okay? I need to go talk to Lucio. See you!" Y/n said bolting away into the crowd.

I really wanted to press further but Y/n just disappeared. They looked like they were up to something. I wonder why they never told me. I am trustworthy, right?

"Asra!"

I turned around to see Julian walking towards me with some drinks.

"Hello again Ilya."

"What's going on with Y/n? Why do they look so uncomfortable tonight? Isn't this supposed to be a night of leisure?" Julian asked, sensing the same thing I am feeling.

I looked at him then to the ground.

"I don't know, Ilya. They have been acting like that since the dance with Lucio."

"Indeed. It scares me to see them like that." Julian said, handing me a glass of punch.

"Should we follow Y/n?" I asked.

"We should." He said, grabbing my hand and dragging me.

I can feel my face heat up as I snatched my hand back and trailing behind him.

"Stupid idiot." I said under my breath.

"Hmm? Is something wrong Asra?"

"Eh- NOTHING!"

~Your POV~

I searched through the crowd and finally got in front and saw Lucio talking to some nobles. I slowly approached them and I am sure Lucio spotted me. He quickly excused himself and he knew I was on to him.

"Excuse me. I have to powder my nose. Eheh." He quickly went up the stairs.

"Oh not this time." I said trailing behind him.

"Eh- NOTHING!" I heard Asra's voice within the crowd.

I looked back and saw Julian and Asra talking.

"They look like lovers."

I shrugged it off and continued following Lucio.

"Count Lucio wait!"

I saw him turn to a corner. I ran to the corner and saw him smiling at me at the end of the hall.

"You called darling??" He said with a smug look on his face.

"Give.it.up." I said sternly.

"Give up what now? Oh- you're naughty, Y/n. I like that." He said smirking.

My face heat up and I clenched my hands into a fist. I called my magic into my fists and they were now glowing.

"O-OH. EH so not a-"

I threw a blast towards him. He dodges it and falls unto the ground. The painting behind him slowly burns. My breath is deeper now. I can feel tingles on my fingers.

"W-WHAT?!" Lucio yelled, standing up to look at the painting.

"NO!"

He looks right at me clearly angry.

"Do you know how much that cost?! and me being a subject is very expensive! People commission me and I'm expensive!" He yells.

"Oh shut up. You're the reason many people died! Your curse, killed, thousands!" I shouted, facing my palm towards him.

Lucio looked at me horrified as a ball of energy was forming on my palms.

"LIGHT 'EM-"

"Y/N!"

Suddenly, I was sent flying and crashed on the ground with a thud. My back ached and I was face planted on the ground.

"Argh.." I groaned.

I looked up and saw a figure. I hear footsteps.

"Oh thank you! Thank you! Asra!" I heard Lucio say.

My eyes widened. I tried sitting up and my vision cleared. I saw Asra looking down at me with disappointment in his eyes. Lucio was hugging him and Asra just watched me.

"Asra....?"

I looked into his eyes and saw pure disappointment and tears pricking from his eyes.  He looked at Lucio and sighed.

"What happened?" He asked Lucio calmly.

I was baffled at his actions.

"Asra..." I said quietly.

"Asra!" I heard a familliar voice.

I heard running until I saw auburn hair. Julian immediately spotted me and looked at Asra.

"What happened?" He asked Asra but was looking at me.

I quickly stood up and backed away from them approaching me.

"T-THEY ATTACKED ME! OUT OF NOWHERE! AND THEY BURNT MY PAINTING!" Lucio whined.

"You have no idea what you're doing..." I said holding unto my stomach feeling pain surging through my body.

Asra was about to approah me but I stepped back. I was angry and felt betrayed at the same time.

"Y/n..." Asra said calmly.

"Don't. You don't even know what he's done." I said with tears in my eyes.

"And you hurt me..." I added, my voice shaking.

Julian takes a step and I move back. He stops and looks me straight in the eye with calmness. It felt calm in his eyes. My breathing hitched.

"You're hurt. Let me help.." He said in a whisper.

I back up and looked around. I saw a window to the right of me that led into the garden. I looked at Julian and he was shaking his head.

"Ilya?" Asra's voice made me wince.

I placed all my strength into my legs and quickly made a break to the window.

"Y/N!" They yelled.

I jumped and saw I was at a tall height. I looked back to see Ilya staring at me with horror and so was Asra. I looked at where I was falling and it was a thorny bush.

"Place." I whispered.

A bright light flashed and it blinded me for a minute.

"Y/N NO!" were the last words I heard from them.

"I'm sorry....."

~Julian's POV~

A bright lightwas shone and it blinded me. I looked away and as soon as the light depleted, I looked back and saw no one there. No rustles of the bush  either or any sign of Y/n. I turned to Asra and saw him standing there with no emotion but he had tears in his eyes.

"Can someone fill me in?" I said staring at Asra.

"Julian! There you are-"

I looked up and saw the Countess with Muriel trailing behind her. She looks around and notices the burnt painting.

"Wh-"

"Oh Noddy! Y/n tried to kill me!" Lucio said running to her and whining.

I saw Nadia's eyes widen as she looked at both Asra and I for confirmation.

"They tried to what?" I looked at Asra.

He nods and then looks at me.

"I saw them chasing Lucio. They looked rather determined to finish something." Asra said turning to look at Nadia.

"And why was she chasing you?" Nadia asked, looking at a pouting Lucio.

"I don't know! They have been acting weird the whole entire night anyways. Maybe they had feelings for me." Lucio said calmly.

I scoff and shook my head in disbelief.

"Not to be rude oh dear and loving Count Lucio but Y/n finds no interest towards you. I must know since we were together closely in the dungeons."

Lucio rolled his eyes and turned his back.

"Whatever." He said appraoching the stairs.

"Lucio-"Nadia was about to speak until Lucio looked back with a smirk on his face.

"Oh and when you find them, bring them to me. I have some special words for them to hear." He added.

Somehow, I felt scared for Y/n. Everyone knows he's a loose canon and wouldn't care about anyone but himself.

"Julian? What happened here?"Nadia spoke bringing me back to reality.

I looked at her and nodded.

"I don't know much dear Countess. When I arrived, Y/n was on the ground holding unto themselves and looking at Count Lucio and Asra with fear. Y/n also mentioned that Asra had hurt them. I believe Asra had harmed her with a spell as there was no bleeding seen."I explained.

Nadia gasps and then looks at Asra for answers. Asra nods looking a bit guilty.

"They have been acting like that the whole night. Their aura seemed dark when I saw them...and...and They were... determined to kill Lucio, Nadi." Asra said with tears in his eyes.

Our eyes widened at Asra's words. That's impossible. An innocent person like Y/n couldn't...have wanted to kill Count Lucio. I mean, he is annoying and unkind and anyone would want to decimate himbut.. Y/n?

"They....have something to hide." Muriel spoke.

We all turned to him as he let down his hood down.

"What's that, Muriel?" Nadia asked, turning to look at him with interest.

We all approached Muriel but with a distance, fully knowing he hates people crowding him.

"Garden. They seemed off. They know something we don't and if we won't figure it out, something terrible might happen." Muriel said appraoching Asra.

He opens his hands and gives him a few bones  which seemed unhygienic at the mean time. There were tiny crystals too.

"Did a reading. Something bad is going to happen. I can feel it." Muriel said, stepping back.

A cold breeze went by which sent shivers down our spines. Nadia shivered and then composed herself. She turned to look at every one of us.

"We must find them and... hope they'll tell us about their worry. They must be so afraid right now. Especially, from what you had done to them, Asra."Nadia said looking at Asra with sympathy.

"I..."

Asra covered his mouth and then looked down.

"Please excuse me, Countess."

He rushed down the stairs, disappearing within the crowd.

"I can see that Asra has a bit of a secret as well. Has he told you anything?" Nadia said, standing next to me.

"They both seem out of sync lately. Asra would never harm, Y/n. He loves them so much that it scares me."

"How so?" Nadia asked.

"Asra would do anything for, Y/n." Muriel said, looking at the stairs.

I nodded and sighed, "Exactly."

"But..he harmed them? Possibly a spell." Nadia was as puzzled as I was.

"We'll never know until we find, Y/n."
