6| Beyond the Stonewall
Okay... eh, this might be offensive for some NaLi shippers and I'm not against the artist either... so, here goes:
I was looking at some NaLu pics... and I came across this.
I barfed.
Lasagnas.
I friggen threw my phone, it landed deep within my friggen sister's friggen mouth and is now long friggen gone (wait, how am I typing this?).
They had friggen replaced Lucy with Lisanna. It's a friggen NaLu moment, dammit!
Why da friggen heck would they do that? ;-;
(They're just so jellis~)
And yes... i am using my little sis' phone.
(Btw, I'm feeling poetic today)

I landed with a soft thud by the riverbanks. I twisted my head to the two exceeds. Happy was holding Carla. Her brown eyes were blank, eyebrows furrowed and her lips formed a thin line. A vision.
I watched as the white exceed's expression turned to one of confusion. "Are you alright?" I asked, crouching.
Her eyes darted downward, avoiding mine. What did she see? Carla opened her mouth to speak. "I'm fine. We should find Erza."
I sighed before I used my hands to get up. "Okay! Let's go find her!" I clapped my hands together and an uncertain smile made it's way to my face.
Turning, I began investigating the edge of the river. I tiptoed across the slippery stones and came to a weird tree. Frowning, I backed away.
This tree was pulsating a weird kind of magic, one that I didn't know. I was about to turn, when something caught my eye. Handmarks on the sand... Erza!
I walked carefully, avoiding the weird tree as much as I could and approached the handmarks. I could smell Erza! She's alive!
I made a sound of relief before I skipped my way to the exceeds in joy. "Carla! Happy!" Their heads turned to me in surprise. I stopped to breathe and leaned my hand on my knees, steadying myself. Some blue hair fell to my face before I got back up again with a wide grin plastered to my face.
"She's been here." The two exceeds cheered and began flying after me as the I followed the scent of our friend.
My footsteps created echoes through the stonewalls as I eagerly made my way through large boulders and plants.
Jumping my way across small ponds, Erza's scent began to fade. Frowning, I wandered around, hoping to find a whiff. The air became cooler as night dawned upon us and the moon rose, the milky light giving the stones a look of silver.
I walked to a leafy branch standing in my way. Pushing it to the side, I came face to face with a gaping hole in the huge stonewall.
"Uh?" I stepped back and Happy crashed on me. Erza's scent wandered deep within the cave. I jumped as I heard a shrill scream and some scratching noises to the stones. Scared, I stepped another step back, receiving frightened glances from the exceeds.
"W-what's in there?" I managed to whisper, my voice quivering. "Are we going in?" I heard Happy sqeak from behind me as he was holding to my arm, peeking in the cave.
Now, I really did want to say no and turn back this instance... but we had to get Erza. Building up some of the remaining scraps of courage, I put up a brave face. "Yes."
I didn't say more. Or I'd hesitate and scare the exceeds more, one of the last things wanted to do at the moment.
A cold gust of dusty air blew from the dark entrance and I shivered, pulling Carla and Happy close to me.
Closing my eyes, I walked slowly and hesitantly to the cave. I took a deep breath of the crisp night-air outside, hoping it wasn't one of my last, and plunged into the darkness beyond the stonewall.

It reeked of rotten flesh somewhere and rats scurried along the stony paths from time to time.
I also came across some creepy paintings painted in a dark red substance, which suspiciously looked like dried blood.
It felt as if the walls were closing in, squashing us at some point. I wanted to get out. My eyes darted from side to side every time I thought I saw a shadow flicker by.
Tucking some locks of blue hair behind my ear, I subconsciously started walking faster, my eyes getting adjusted to the darkness.
"Why are you running?" Happy asked, shifting to look up at me. "I want to find Erza... it's getting scarier in here." I answered, lowly, scared that something might pop out if I was too loud.
I regretted not bringing any torches... It felt as if something was staring at us.
I shivered again.
Sluggish footsteps behind us. I turned as fast as I could...
...Only to come face-to-face with a human. I couldn't see much, but I definitely wasn't imagining things. The eyes were ripped out of their sockets, and the face itself was distorted, making it look like a permanent scream. The clothes were ripped into shreds.
I screamed as I turned to run. Stumbling on the rocks, I could see more monsters coming from the shadows.
A monster grabbed hold of the back of the dress, and started pulling me as more rotten arms stretched from the crowd of monsters. Happy and Carla were desperately trying to free me.
Nails sharp like claws pierced through the fabric of my dress, and I felt something warm trickling down my back.
Suddenly the pressure on my back disappeared. I fell forward, closing my eyes on impact, and landed on all four.
A swish was heard, and I heard monsters drop dead. My eyes were still closed.
"Erza! You're alive!" I heard Happy's voice sobbing, before I finally opened my eyes. I could see a faint glow, like a fire, and an outline of the redhead who was hugging a blue ball of fur. Erza was holding a torch.
"You're here!" I scrambled up to my feet. "Thank you for saving us!" I bowed, before hugging myself. Shivering, I finally noticed how cold it was here.
Erza saw me, and bought the torch closer.
"Here! This will help." she said.
Carefully gripping on it, I felt myself getting warmer, and thanked Erza again.
We began walking again. "So, what were those monsters?" I asked, now able to see more.
"Undead. All that I know about them is that they eat flesh." Erza said with a straight face. "O-oh."
We walked a bit, before Happy broke the silence. "How did you find us?" he asked, flying beside us.
"Oh, a bunch of undead attacked me, but suddenly went the other direction. Curious, I followed. That was a good thing too." Erza replied, before turning to the right.
I followed her, to something that looked like the entrance of a tunnel.
"We can rest here, it's safe." Erza said as she moved some old, crispy plants, to form small beds.

As Wendy snuggled up beside Erza, I was wide awake, thinking about the vision I had got. It had scared me. Happy was already snoring loudly. Kinda cute. I shook my head to get rid of the thought, before I sat down beside Wendy.
I heard undead shuffling by the entrance, but it didn't seem as they found us.
I closed my eyes, trying to force myself to sleep. It was hard. The only thing that filled my mind was the damn vision. It was really confusing.
Images flashed before my eyes. I saw lots and lots of water. There was an old portal. I remember a library, a really ancient one. Suddenly, I saw everyone on the floor, surrounded by fire.
There was a figure, walking away. I blinked. No- this couldn't be. The golden hair fell to her back, her keys were dripping of blood.
...Lucy...?

So I was updating this when I noticed I have over 1k views!!!!
Omg, thank you, guys.
But anyway, I'm sorry about this chapter being kinda short-ish.
I intended it to be about 2000 words, maybe.
But still, I'm really happy!
