4| Legend of a Fortress

Omfg, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night when I was writing this o_O It was scary as hell! Luckily it only was the people who were living under us who had forgotten to turn off the stove.

Anyways, this chapter will kinda be a filler (but an important chapter) and there won't be much action going(yet)

Character may be a bit OOC sometimes to fit the plotline.

Lucy went out the library door, her face twisted to a yawn. Her golden locks were tied up in a neat bun and prevented the hair to fall to her face. She and Levy had just finished with all the books in the library and the sky was turning dark.

The blonde's hand undid her hair, making it cascade freely in front of her chocolate eyes which were scanning the guildhall for a certain pinkette. Even though the hall was packed --because of the incident earlier--, it wasn't hard to spot the pink hair and the scaly looking scarf.

She went past her guildmates to the dragonslayer who seemed furious. "Natsu!" the blonde called for her best friend who turned to look at her. "What is it?" his angry features softened a bit. "I need some help with something... I may have found out where to find some information" she grabbed hold of his wrist and dragged him outside the doors into the cool air. Something Natsu would have done to her.

Two mages ran across the empty streets, stars illuminating the road to Lucy's apartment. She unlocked the closed door and Natsu jumped through the window, the curtains billowing in the sudden gust of cool air. Closing it, he turned to Lucy, her hands holding a leather-covered book. Legends and Myths, it said.

"What can we find in that?" Natsu asked. He was unsure of what kind of information that was in there, could help them. The blonde mage groaned in frustration before handing the old book to him. "Open up to page two-hundred and thirty-five" she ordered and Natsu opened the book, to turn the pages.

Araliya Fortress,

Long ago, there was a war between two groups of peoples named the Nilan and Sunriver. The Nilan built a fortress which was located in --- to protect themselves from the attacks of the Sunriver . The fortress was called Araliya Fortress in honour of Araliya, a person who built it.

The Nilan was known to be smart and wise. According to the myth, there is an archive over everything right underneath the fortress! The problem is that nobody knows were it is-

Not needing to read the rest, he closed the book and gave it back to the blonde. "We must find the fortress-" Natsu began, Lucy finishing the thought. "In one month..."

"Gramps, we know what to do!" Natsu and Lucy came bursting through the office door to see the Master behind a pile of papers. He looked up at them. "What?". Lucy gave the book about myths and opened to the page he was supposed to read. His eyes carefully read each word and Natsu and Lucy waited for him to finish.

Soon Master closed the book and put it down. "I'm a bit skeptical but this is the only clue we got... okay, I'll send a group... then we might be able to find out what the Askeria is" he concluded and began walking out the door.

"Listen up, brats!" the old man called from the balcony to the chaotic guild who turned to look at his direction. "We may have found out where to find out what the Askeria is. I will send some mages for the expedition who will leave tomorrow morning"

Murmurs ran through the guild. "The mages who will leave are... the ones from Team Natsu, the strongest team, Gajeel and Pantherlily, if they need some extra strength, Juvia, if they come across a desert and Levy, if they pass secret codes... alright!" everyone cheered, sound filling the guildhall.

Night came quickly and the selected mages went home to pack some stuff in their bag and rest for the next day.

Master Losared turned to face the two mages at the doorway. Even though he was powerful, he was just 19. Black tattoos swirled around half of his face and the white hair lay in a mess. "Thankyou, Marco. You can now leave" Marco sent Lira a worried glance before stepping out and the doors closed behind him.

Beads of sweat formed above the greenette's brows. "Calm down, Lira," she relaxed her tense muscles. "I called you," Losared began, looking out the giant window. "Because some of the spies found out that a group from that pesky guild are preparing for a journey," he looked at the greenette again. "I find that quiet suspicious and I want you to follow them. You can decide who will go with you. Be ready to leave tomorrow". Lira nodded and turned to the door but it was locked.

"Before you go... undress". She gulped as her clothes slid down her pale skin. "Come here" Losared smirked and gestured at his lap.

"Alright! We're ready to go!" Lucy cheered. The 7 of them, and 3 exceeds, boarded the train as it was about to leave.

"So, Lucy... were are we heading?" Gray asked the blonde reading a leather book. "According to this book, the Nilan lived in the south, so we're going to Marigold City first..." Lucy answered, glancing at the raven haired guy before her. "Um... your clothes...". Gray looked down in confusion before trying to cover himself up with his hands. "WHAT THE HECK?!". "But wasn't that the place with the statue?" Erza looked upon the not-so-peacefully-sleeping Natsu who had his head on Lucy's lap. "It was" the blonde leaned her head on the seat and stroked Natsu's soft hair. Closing her eyes, she waited for the wave of sleep to come drifting over her.

Suddenly a loud noise was heard.

CRASH!
