"Where's Lucy?!" a pink haired dragonslayer broke the wall right beside the wooden door of the hotel room while the rest of team Natsu followed through the large hole.
"Uh, couldn't you just have opened the door?" Wendy sweatdropped. Lucy was on the bed with a paler face than usual, the tip of her nose and her cheeks were painted in a rosy pink color. Her eyes were half-opened, revealing dull, brown eyes.
"Hey, Luce! What happened?!" Natsu stood quickly by her side and rested his hand on her forehead only to quickly draw it back. "It seems as if she has a fever" Erza walked toward the bed, her metal armor making slightly uncomfortable clanking sounds.
"You think?" Lucy managed to glare before she coughed. "How did it come that fast? She was perfectly fine when we came here" the redhead turned to Wendy who only shrugged her shoulders.
"It happened around a statue. Maybe there's some kind of spell?" she suggested lightly. "Good idea! Me, Gray and Wendy will go to investigate while Natsu stays here with Luc-" Erza was interrupted by Natsu. "What the heck?! I wanna come to!" he wailed but shut his mouth when he received a death-glare from her.
"We'll report everything when we come back. Wendy, lead the way!" the little group exited through the giant hole, leaving two mages and one exceed behind.
"It's boring here..." Natsu sulked, crossing his arms. "Natsu," he turned to Lucy who was sitting in an upright position. "Could you get me some water, please?" she asked sweetly.
Before he had the time to react, Happy flew through the doorway, wanting to do something interesting. "Or Happy..." Natsu could hear the blonde murmur before sliding down to the pillow. "So... where's the reward?" Lucy looked around, curious why he didn't have a bag filled with jewels.
"Oh, about that," the dragonslayer began, sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. "The thief got away as we were about to come to you... eheh...". "WHAT?!" the blonde screamed before having a coughing fit. Worried, Natsu quickly wrapped his arms around her and he could feel her tense up. "W-what are you doing? You'll catch a cold" Lucy tried to break free but the tan, muscular arms held her in place and her face heated up when she noticed her being uncomfortably close to his chest.
"I can't be sick, Luce" his voice was serious and soon the blonde relaxed from the body-heat and she closed her eyes. "I will only let you this once" she said sternly which made Natsu pout. They were in the bed like that for a while before Natsu heard soft snoring noises. It lulled him into a deep slumber. Just then a blue exceed came flying through the doorway with a cup of water in his paws. "Here's the water, L-" he stopped when he saw two figures cuddling in their sleep and smirked. Quickly diving behind a table, he laughed quietly.
"They liiiike each other!~"

"So this is it?" Erza asked Wendy who nodded. "The Statue of Falon". The four of them stood right in front of the statue where Lucy had fainted. "I can sense a strong magical aura around it. It must have triggered something in Lucy..." Gray began, looking around the normal-looking statue. "But what could have done something to her and not us?" Carla mused.
"Maybe... just maybe..." the others looked at Erza who was thinking hard, beads of sweat forming above her brows.
"What?" Wendy asked hopefully, looking at the redhead. "We'll have to go to the library" Erza headed towards the great structure.
"Wait up!" Gray hurried to her side, the rest following. "I've read a book," Erza began, the others looking at her, curiously. "If a girl or a boy has bits of another person's soul and sees a thing that reminds them of that person, that'll cause the memories of the person's last moments to show up. In this case... it seems that Lucy has parts of Falon's soul..." she finished.
"I may be wrong but this is the only clue we've got. We need to find out more about Falon!". "But why? Finding out won't make any difference, right?" Carla pointed out, her voice containing a slight skepticism. Gray nodded his head in agreement while Wendy just fiddled with her fingers.
She saw a flicker of doubt in Erza's eyes but it was replaced by confidence. "If I am wrong, that'll mean that something else is causing something in Lucy, it can be dangerous" she replied.
The four of them came inside the giant library, shelves after shelves crowding the hall. "How are we going to find anything here?!" Gray screeched in surprise, earning a few hushes from people. "Sorry..." he whispered, careful not to make much noise. "Let's spread out, it'll be easier to find anything then" Carla suggested and the others quickly agreed, spreading out.
Gray began to search in the first shelf and traced his finger along the spines of the books, searching for one about Falon. Sadly the books weren't organized in an alphabetical order and he cursed under his breath when he found out.It wasn't going any better with Erza either as she requipped into her book-finding armor and wandered around the shelves.
Wendy walked along the seemingly endless rows of books until one caught her eye. it wasn't any book about Falon but one about healing. She lifted the book covered in dust and blew it carefully. When she was done, she lifted the cover to reveal some brownish papers. Her eyes quickly scanned the page to flip over to the next one. "Spell... potions... soul... here it is..." she murmured quietly. "... away... memory... that's it!" Wendy skipped along to find Carla who was flying by the top row of books. The exceed saw her and glided smoothly down, seeing the excited face.
"Have you found anything yet?" she asked the bluenette. "No, but I found something that can help Lucy! If what Erza said is right, we have to get her out of the town" she replied. Carla took the old book from Wendy's hand and read the pages quietly.
"Yes, it's worth a try... let's get back to the others" the two found Gray and Erza and showed them the book. The group ran out of the library after putting the book back in place and came quickly to the hotel. They walked past doors until they came to a giant hole. Wendy jumped inside but as she went in, her face quickly turned red and she stammered. "W-what-t?". Curious, the rest followed and soon Gray smirked, Erza turned furious and Carla huffed. Lucy and Natsu were cuddling in the bed while Happy was sleeping on the floor.
"NATSU DRAGNEEL, YOU SHALL NOT MOLEST MY FRIEND" Erza shouted, waking everyone up. Natsu and Lucy flushed red and the redhead stomped toward the pinkette and lifted him by his scarf. "N-n-no, I didn't molest Lucy!" He argued but was sent flying and crashed on Gray.
"Oi, what was that for, pinky?!" he sneered. "It's not like I meant it, stripper!" and so the regular fight began, ending with the two getting their heads smashed by Erza. "Quiet, Lucy has a fever!". "A-aye!" the two replied and Lucy chuckled to herself. "So, did you find anything?" she asked Wendy.
"Yes, we must go back to Magnolia... fast". "Why?" Lucy asked, surprised. "Because Erza said that if you have Falon's soul in you and get out of the town where her last memories were, then you shall be better" Carla replied and the blonde looked taken aback by the first words.
"I have another soul... inside me?" she asked and the exceed nodded, her face expressionless. "Okay... but what about that word I keep hearing?" this caught Erza's attention and she left the two beat-up boys. "What word?" she leaned over Lucy's bed. "It's this word I hear each time I wake up from sleep: Askeria. I don't know what that means though, and it's just confusing..." she rested her chin on the palm of her hand on the last part.
The blonde didn't want to tell her friends about the dragon, not wanting to worry them.
"I don't know, we'll have to ask Master when we come back to the guild" Erza said. "We shall leave now". She dragged everyone outside, through the door this time, gave the room keys to the receptionist and headed to the train station. "We're going to take that thing?" Natsu complained and the redhead hit his head -- hard. He groaned in response and staggered while whining the whole way.
They bought tickets with some jewels and boarded the train just in time as the doors closed behind them and set in motion causing Natsu's face to turn green. Everyone took their seats and their ride home began.

"We're back!" Natsu shouted, kicking the doors open only to be welcomed by an empty bottle of beer smashing into his face. The guild was fighting and tables and mages flew around. Ignoring him, Wendy turned to Lucy who was smiling at the familiar ruckus of the guild. "Are you feeling better?" she asked her and got a nod as a response. "I feel amazing- kyaa!" Lucy was hit by a flying Mira who seemed to be dead and Wendy sweatdropped.
She scurried across the floor, avoiding unidentified flying objects, while dragging the unconsious Lucy to Master's office, knocked the door, and went inside.
"Ah, Wendy my dear! How was the job?" the old man smiled warmly which Wendy returned. "It was great, but we kinda had some problems...".
Just then, Lucy woke up to her senses and climbed to her feet, brushing her skirt with her hands, mumbling, "Sorry".
Master just continued smiling before asking, "What did you want to talk about?". Lucy looked at the little girl and understanding what she meant, she walked out, closing the door behind her.
As Wendy went out, she leaped to the bar where Mira was cleaning the dishes. "Mira-san! Um, could I have some water please?".
Mirajane soon came back with a cold cup of transparent liquid. As i sipped the water, the doors flew open, revealing three hooded figures.
"Is this Fairy Tail?"
