So. Here I was. Stuck in a decision. Between a man I had loved, and between a friend I "love". I had promised myself never to fall in love again. I sighed and started to fly back home. I knew what I was going to do.

When I landed I was met by Duncan and Sjin standing a foot away from each other. I sighed and looked at them. To one, I was a friend. An apprentice. Another mistake he had to fix. And another, I was something he would enjoy every second of life i had. And I loved them both dearly. I do. But...I knew my choice.

I walked off the ship and looked at them both.

~Dunc's POV~

I saw her exit the ship and almost ran to give her a hug. But something was off. I could suddenly hear Ridge's voice, repeating:

"Its time to pay the price."

What did he mean by that? Would I lose her to Sjin? I had a gift for her. And not just any gift. The cure. I would give it to her whoever she choose. So far, in my research, the gem had only kept the heart protected. I looked at Sjin, then back at Kim. The light of my life. But soon. To bean eclipse were there was no return. Its time to pay the price.

~Kim's POV~

"Well Nano?" Sjin asked with open arms. He had his spacesuit on. The same suit he had changed into when he blew me up.

"Well Kim?" Duncan asked with a inviting hand that led to crazy adventures. He had given me something he knew he couldn't cure.

"Guys. Your both amazing. But...both of you hurt me. Sjin, you blew me up. I loved you. Duncan. You gave me the flux, which is something you can't cure! And yet you gave me the joy of the world. But both of you have hurt me." I could hear the voices filling my head as my flux glowed a bright purple. I saw the two exchange glances before backing away slowly.

"GOoD BYe....ThANk yOU f-FOr tEAcHiNg mE..." I laughed darkly and shot my flux spheres at them, getting Duncan in the head, and Sjin in the heart. The two places you don't want the flux to get too. I wouldn't die. I could never die.

"I am Kim NanoSounds Richard. The Queen of the Nether and now...the Flux. And you two, are mine forever."

I laughed darkly as the two men groaned and slunk to the ground unconscious. However I never did notice the sapphire that fell out of Duncan's hand as he slipped away.

But hey. Not every story can have the happy fairy tale ending.
