Kallus and Chopper made it to the lab without any problems. Kallus guarded the door while Chopper hooked up to a terminal and started doing some of the research about the probes. It took awhile but Chopper was able to come up with something. "You found something?" Kallus asked. Chopper made a few beeps and used one of his arms to gesture Kallus over. Chopper then explained what he could do. "So there is a way to extract the probes instead of destroying them inside the organic body. Nice find Chopper." Kallus said. Chopper made a few more beeps. "What do you need me for?" Kallus asked. Chopper turned on a screen and made some beeps. "So we have to built a device to extract it." Kallus asked in surprise and Chopper nodded. "Okay lets get started."

Ezra stood before Thrawn and Vader. Vader approached Ezra and Ezra kneeled before him knowing he didn't have a choice. "I see you now know your place." Vader said. Ezra tightened his jaw in anger as he did not like being talked down on by Vader. "Do you know why I am here?" Vader asked. "To kill me? Because that would solve something." Ezra said in a sassy tone. "No. If I killed you now you would only become a Mater to other Rebels. But to have you join us will break their spirits." Vader told him. Vader then lifted his hand and Ezra put his hands to his throat and lift in the air. "When I asked you to prove your loyalty to your friends you hesitated. And when I told you to use the thermal blaster you hesitated again. You also decided to talk out when I told you not to. When Lord Vader heard about this he then began to question your true loyalty." Thrawn explained.

"I believe it's time that you fulfill your destiny as my apprentice." Vader said letting Ezra go. Ezra collapsed to the ground breathing heavy. "The only way to complete your journey to the dark side is to kill one of your friends." Vader said. Ezras anger started to boil inside of him. "Maybe if you kill the Mandilorian, he might go over the edge." Thrawn suggested. Then Ezras anger erupted. He fired a beam at Vader and pushed Thrawn against the wall with the force. The then grabbed his new and old lightsaber and ignited them. "You will not hurt her or any of them! I'll kill you here!" Ezra shouted and charged at Vader.

Elsewhere

"Alright all done." Kallus said. He and Chopper were finally done putting together the device. Chopper did some celebrating beeps. "Are you sure this will work?" Kallus asked. Chopper did some beeps and shrugged his arms. "You're 99% sure?! So there's a chance it won't work?!" Kallus said raising his voice. Chopper waved one of his arms in the air and did some beeps. "Whatever lets just free the others and hope it works." Kallus said and they ran out the lab.

After awhile they made it to the prison block and Chopper opened the cell doors. Out of nowhere Zeb punched Kallus in the face and Kallus fell back. Chopper did a few beeps of anger at Zeb for punching Kallus. Zeb quickly went to helo Kallus up. "Sorry. Thought you was one of those bucket heads." He said. "It's fine but you all have to get out of here fast."

"Wait. What about Ezra?" Sabine asked. "What do you mean what about him? The kid betrayed us and you still want to bring him back?!" Zeb shouted. Chopper then made some noises to get there attention. "What do you mean Ezra sent you to rescue us?" Hera asked. Chopper then explained what Ezra had told him and why he did it. "It makes sense now." Kanan said. "That explains what happened to us when we were on Geral and what happened when we fought Ezra." Hera said. "He was trying to protect us." Sabine said. "And we lost faith in him." Kanan added looking down. "So what now?" Zeb asked. "Ezra said to just get you guys outta here." Kallus told them. "No! Not without Ezra, not again!" Sabine protested.

"But Sabine-" Kanan was about to say but was cut off. "No she's right. We're not leaving him again. He's our family and family doesn't leave each other behind." Hera said placing a hand on Sabines shoulder. Sabine smiled at Hera. "Now Chop, you said you can get theses probes out of us?" Hera asked her droid. Chopper nodded and pulled out the device. "Alright take them out." She said. Chopper went one by one and put the device on their skins. It sting a little bit but it was over in no time. The probes were finally out of there bodies. "Alright lets go get Ezra." Sabine said and they all ran out of the prison block to find Ezra.

Ezra was in a deep fight with Vader. He has both his old and new lightsabers and he swung them at Vader. Then Thrawn came in with a electric bo-staff. Ezra blocked both of their attacks. Ezra pushed Vader back with the force and side kicked Thrawn. Vader then used the force to hold Ezra still and Thrawn shocked him with his staff. Ezra fell to the ground with heavy breathing. "You fought well Ezra but not well enough. You're friends are a distraction." Vader said. "Maybe I should do something about that." Thrawn said and lifted his arm ready to press a button. Ezra didn't know if Chopper was able to get rid of the probes inside the crews body and was afraid if he didn't. "Don't please. I'll whatever you want." Ezra said getting on one knee. "Good boy. And for on I would like for you to call me master." Thrawn said.

Then a blast hit Thrawn in the shoulder making him fall back. Ezra looked behind him and he saw the crew. "Leave. Him. ALONE." Sabine said. "*grunt* Ezra finish them." Thrawn said. "Guys get outta here! You have no idea what he did-" "kid we know." Zeb said. "And we don't care." Kanan said. "The probes are out of us Ezra we're okay." Hera said. "And we're not leaving you. We're you're friends and friends stick together." Sabine said. Ezra smiled and was happy that Chopper was able to get them out. "Very well, if you will not do it I will." Thrawn said and pressed the button bur nothing happened. "What's going on?" Vader asked. "It's over you guys lost." Ezra said. "No!" Vader shouted and charged at the crew. Ezra used the force and Vader was sent flying. "Run!" Ezra shouted and they ran out. They ran down the halls and made it to the hangar bay. They got on a shuttle and they lifted off out of the star destroyer.

They later landed at Ryders hideout. The crew exited the ship except Ezra. "Ezra what's wrong." Hera asked. "I'm sorry for putting you all threw this. I didn't know what else to do. I don't deserve you guys forgiveness." Ezra said looking down. Without thinking Sabine ran up to Ezra and hugged him tightly. "I don't care what you had to do. You were just trying to protect us. Lile I said before, we all care about you too much to blame you. I care too much about you." Sabine told him. Ezra smiled and hugged her back. They broke they hugged and rested their foreheads together. Sabine had her hands on Ezras chest and he had his hands on her shoulder. Without a second thought, Sabine then kissed Ezra. He was surprised at first but closed his eyes. They broke the kiss and hugged each other some more. "Thanks for never losing faith in me Sabine." Ezra said. "Never have, never will Ez."
