Listen to the river as it gurgles past, flows downstream into the open pasture, where livestock contently graze in peace, under the beaming sun.With no clouds in the sky it is easy to spot the mother robin as she scouts for yummy earthworms for her chicks. Down below young lamps skip about the field carefree under their mother's watchful gaze. You could walk for forever in this sea of grass, but all things have a end. 

Travel far east and you will come to Cayo's borders. With a massive welcome sign to greet you as you walk in. It stands tall and proud, the fresh yellow paint gleams in the sun. The sweet heavenly aroma of roses, tulips and sunflowers tickle your nose. Watered with care, they rise and stretch towards to the sun with open arms as they beautifully bloom in the season of spring. On the sidewalk children play mini games, their eyes twinkling and their mouth stretched from ear to ear. On the road cars cruise by while those on bikes glide past. You walk down the streets, house shutters are left open, while people sit out on their porches having polite neighbourly conversations.

At last you enter town hall, a tall smiling statue greets you. In the small courtyard behind the town cathedral, the babble of jubilant voices are heard from a nearby crowd.Tables covered in white cloth are scattered everywhere. So are doves imagery and decorations Well dressed children wave play a small game of football as adults carry plates of food in hand, careful not to ruin their fancy clothes as they chatter excitedly. Mothers sit on benches cradling their babes in their arms as they doze off in peaceful slumber, unaware of the excitement. Finally the lively crowd broke into a overjoyed cheer as a man wearing a tuxedo walked out with his new wife linked by the arm, wearing a dress white as snow that swirled at her feet. This small but cheerful town was once went under the sorrowful name of Dolores After so many years of darkness and years of rebuilding, the town of Dolores was renamed to Cayo meaning "rejoice," appropriately named don't you think?
