The environment in which Brooke found herself was unlike anything she had ever seen. A pond from which various woodland creatures drank. The water gave off a mesmerizing red glow thanks to the surrounding rubies. An enormous pine tree overlooked the pond, almost as if it were guarding the crimson liquid.

Stepping forward to face the pond, Brooke waited to see what would happen next. A few seconds later, something arose from the bubbling water.

It was her future in the form of a hologram.

Brooke stared at it, wide-eyed; she had to be seeing things. She closed her eyes and opened them again. The image still hovered above the pond.

After a few minutes, Brooke said, "I wish to end the game." Soon, she found herself back at the starting point. As Brooke walked home, she wondered if it was worth it to play the game in the first place.

She ended up seeing nothing at all.
