Part 3- After Sunset

Brooke went outside carrying a flashlight and the paper with the instructions. The woods were not too far from her house, and she reached the outskirts within five minutes.

"Okay, then. Here goes nothing," Brooke thought.

She took out the paper and walked into the forest. When Brooke felt she had ventured 100 feet, she decided to find a pair of fallen branches. Luckily for her, there had been a storm last night, so finding some was easy.

Brooke then stuck the two branches into the ground away from each other, declaring, "I wish to start the game" once she finished. She then walked forward from the starting point, checking for any animals. In almost no time at all, Brooke encountered a deer. Upon doing so, the deer stared at Brooke as if she were driving. Remembering what the paper said, Brooke then turned left.

After about ten seconds, Brooke heard footsteps behind her. Then, she heard twigs snap. On instinct, Brooke turned around to see what made the noise. When Brooke saw nothing, she noticed she had returned to her starting point, meaning she had messed up step 7: do not look back.

Trying again, Brooke managed to get to the part where she heard footsteps. This time, Brooke did not look behind her, no matter what she heard. She kept walking forward until she felt a strong force nearly knock her down and send her paper flying. When Brooke picked it up again, the girl returned to the starting point again. She forgot step 8: jump forward three times.

On her third attempt, Brooke reached step 8 without dropping her paper. She leaped forward three times, landing in a puddle as the instructions said she would. Next, Brooke spun around a single time while in the water. Much to her bewilderment, she came across a scene she did not notice earlier.
