See You Again

The youngest brother-Gabriel- looked at me and said, "Go gather your belongings from your former living space. Say goodbye to your friends and family."

"Might I ask why do I have to move?" I didn't want to leave Cassie alone. Also, I didn't really have any friends to begin with, so who would I say goodbye to?

The funniest Archangel thought about this answer for a long time. I was nervous that I had already messed up enough to make the Eldest regret picking me. He smiled at me and said, "All of us don't want other Angels to know what is going on. We don't want a rebellion on our hands, now do we? Also, my brothers and I want to get to know you better."

"Okay..." I was lost at why they wanted to know me better. I was a test subject, while they were the mad scientists. Why me?

So, I flew back to my room as fast as I could, because I didn't want to say goodbye to Cassie. He was the only person that I cared about. I worked with plenty of other Angels before, but as stated, they did not want to disobey orders by talking to me. I started to gather what I needed in order to survive the Eldest. Including this journal. And sure enough, I hear the door open and the tiniest footsteps coming towards me. I turned around, and saw that Cassie had found me.

"Ani, where are you going? I thought it was playtime with you." His little voice was full of concern and fear. I couldn't blame him, considering that he had no clue about where I was going.

"I gotta move....somewhere else."

"Where? Will it take too long? You promised me that we could go to the Garden and go fly a kite and play tag!" Just hearing his tiny plea made me want to cry, but I didn't want the Eldest to see me as weak.

"I wish I could do all of these things with you, Cas, but I can't. I got a new job."

"Why, Ani?" He started to cry, and truth is, I wanted to hug him and embrace him. I thought of ways where I could explain this to him without confusing him. I know that I had told him about Father multiple times.

"I have to help Father out."

"Be safe, okay Ani?" He then hugged me, or at least tried to. He was so tiny that he held onto my leg. I picked him up so then that way, I could hug him back.

"Same to you, Cassie. I will see you again soon. Don't cause too much trouble, Mister, okay?"

"I promise Ani. I love you." He then let go of me, so I put him back down. Cas then started to run out the door, probably to go play with other fledglings. After he turned away, I wiped a single tear from my eyes. I finished packing, and then proceeded to the Throne Room.

I was confused at the sight before me, because the Throne Room was never empty, but it was. I was fearful of what was happening on around me. It was all a little strange, because I thought that the Leviathan or something else had attacked. Then, I felt someone tapping me on the shoulder, "Looking for us?"

I almost screamed out of fright, but I know that it would only make them laugh, so I responded with, "Yeah. I'm fine." I turned and saw it was the Archangels.

Gabriel then said to me, "How did your family and friends take your new job assignment?"

"Cassie didn't take it too well, but I told him that I would see him again. That's the only person that I really cared about, and the only one I ran into. More like, he came into my room."

I think that Gabriel and his older brothers were all dumbfounded at my lack of friends, so I continued, "I worked with a lot of other Angels, but none of them went out of my way to talk to me. Also, I need a fresh start to this new life. I need to become a brand new person through this."

It was Lucifer that next spoke, "That's very brave of you. Now, let all of us show you to your room and around the Throne Room." So, I proceeded to follow them. And let's just say that the Throne Room was absolutely beautiful! I was humbled by the beauty of the area. It felt like I had stepped into a different world, resembling an ancient garden.

It reminded me of an island I visited once, which was ran by dogs. Their version of the Throne Room would be their ancient garden. I must explain that later. Because I am now all caught up on where I am.

I do feel like a test subject, but I am not being treated like it. My room is really nice near the Throne Room. The desk is pure white marble and so smooth, it reminded me of ice. That's where this journal will be at all times. I am probably going to finish unpacking and go explore the Ancient Garden, and see if I could find these flowers that can cure everything.

After reading this entry, I was starving for something to eat, so I managed to get to the kitchen using the crutches. I wanted a milkshake, and somehow, the bunker had all of the ingredients. By using the plastic bag, I managed to set up the blender, grab the ice, chocolate ice cream, milk, and a drinking cup. I started to make the drink, totally neglecting the noise of the blender.

Before I could stop the blender, all of the lights came on in the kitchen area. I turned around and saw a person behind me....who could it be?

A/N: Well, bold is Emilyanne's thoughts, while not bold is Tris' thoughts! At least with Wattpad.

I also recently started a mini series related to The Cause on a different website. The link will be after this little note. The mini series will make sense later on. But, for now, enjoy it!

Who is the stranger in the kitchen? Find out soon! And what else could possible go wrong? Thanks for reading!
