Awakening

I woke up a few hours later, feeling as sleepy as ever! I had no memory of how I was so tired. I then looked at my leg and saw a purple cast on my leg. I was in a room on the second floor, right near the elevator.

The doctor came in and sat down and grabbed the clipboard. "I'm sorry that I did not notify you about the condition of your ankle."

I managed to say, "What do you mean with my ankle? What happened to me?"

The doctor calmly said, "Your injury was worst that what I previously thought. We had to perform a minor surgery on you. You should be out of here in no time."

I was not sure about what was going on. I didn't see anyone I knew there. I didn't care if even the Angels were there. "What does no time mean? How long?"

"About a few hours." The doctor, who had to be extremely busy, walked out of my room. I was finally left along for the first time in forever. I wanted to fall asleep, but fear kept me awake. I honestly have no clue what happened in the next few hours, but all I remember was that I was mumbling (yelling to me) the names of the people that I knew. If I knew that person, then I trusted then, or so I thought. I just wanted someone to calm me down.

A few hours later, after the doctors released me, there was no one there to pick me up. Instead the doctor handed me a note, that had a brief note and a phone number. It said,

Waiting for another friend who had basically been a father to us. We will see you later on tonight. Hope you are feeling better! Call this number when you are released.

 ~Free Will

I called the number as soon as the nurse walked away from my wheelchair, after she handed me my cell phone. By some amount of dumb luck, the phone worked! It didn't even lose any charge!

The phone rang twice, then I heard an familiar voice, "Hello?" Then the voice said, "Tris?"

It was Sam that I was talking to, "Yes, it's me. Who is your friend that you are waiting for?"

"Our friend/father, Bobby. But, how are you feeling?"

"To be honest, very sleepy. And fearful at the same time. So I guess...alright. What happened to me?" I yawned.

"Surgery. They had to stabilize the bone, so they put pins in it."

"Okay...where do you want me to meet you and Dean and Trenchie?"

"No, we will meet you at the hospital. You just stay wherever you are. Where are you at?"

"Outside, in a wheelchair, trying to figure out what the heck is going on."

"We'll be there soon, Tris." Sam then hung up the phone. I was probably too out of it to even do that task. All I could do was watch what was going on around me. Which was nothing too interesting.

But one detail was forever going to be with me. I remember looking up at the sky. It was right after the sunset, when the first stars were out. In my state of mind, I managed to remember something from a video game, Kingdom Hearts.

"You see all of the stars out there? They say that every world out there is a star. And when that star goes away, then that means that the world would disappeared. Consumed by the darkness. The light is the world's heart."

Just thinking about something from my world made me very homesick. That's when the 'Impala' showed up.

I didn't care who showed up at this point. All I wanted was to go home and sleep.

Someone grabbed the wheelchair and I tried helping myself out of the chair. Epic fail on my end. "Someone please help me?" I pleaded with the people.

I then came to my senses and realized that I was not with Sam, Dean, or Castiel. The brothers had come to pick me up.

Knowing that it was the four of them, I decided to get out of the wheelchair by myself. I managed to do that simple task, and hobbled away quietly from the four of them. I marched on, until I heard a chilling message: Remember, I can find you wherever you go. You can't hide from me or my brothers.

The message finally put me into a panic, so I continued on.
