A/N Before anything else:

Please be reminded that this is the drama/revelation part of the book. Forgive me if I will portray the story sloppily because it's my first time writing this kind of stuff. Constructive criticism is much more accepted since I'm new to writing.

"Chii-chan, I'm getting married next month."

"Huh? Its only been a month since you divorced with Ojii-chan."

"Oh com on you young lady, you should be happy with me."

"How could I be happy that you're getting married the 4th time? And I'm already having a hard time changing my surname every now and then."

She's starting to get irritated by the phonecall o her mum bragging about her new boyfriend and she eventually surprised her by the news that she's getting married.

Chizuru is already suffering a migraine not only with her friends, as well as her mum constantly changing partners since her biological father died in an accident they were caught.

"And by the way Chii-chan. We should be staying under a one roof as your future stepfather wishes."

"Why should I?"

"Please. Can you do it for me instead of buying those designer bags for me as a present? We haven't been together for so long and I missed you so much."

Chizuru paused for a moment to decide.

"O-okay, if that's what you want."

"By the way, I heard that your friend Ayase is getting married. How about you? Got a boyfriend? Quit ogling at your videogame boyfriends already and get a real man to fu--"

Chizuru hanged up at the end of the line because her mother is starting to make fun of her single life again.

By the way she interacts with her mum is like she's with a friend same as her age. But nonetheless, she respects her decisions and she also wants her to be happy because she suffered badly from her father's death and as well taking care of her while she suffered from amnesia.

After the annoying phonecall, Chizuru laid down on her bed to rest. Her eyelids became heavy until she fell asleep.

One morning, a girl went on a fieldtrip that she never wanted to go in the first place. Everybody in her class is happy and excited for the fieldtrip but her. As a transferrie and as a delinquent as well that needs a disciplinary action, she is with her dad that turns out to be the adviser of the class as well.

"Chii-chan. I'm glad the faculty still allowed you to take part of the field trip after you bullied one of the students of the neighboring senior high in the school. And it turns to be he's living in our neighborhood as well."

"Don't worry dad. I'm in good terms with that creepy four eyes, right now."

"You're like your mum when she was young. Feisty and boyish. But I should remind you to not extort your seniors or anybody in your school."

I just remembered, that bus next to us is from a senior high that that boy I mentioned is from. They will be joining us in our fieldtrip to Kyoto as well."

"That's not extortion. I'm just making fun of him."

"To think that you we're able to bully a person older than you. Don't make the president of the school dismiss me again from my teaching job. I know you're doing good in your grades but you must refrain yourself from doing your evil and twisted antics."

"Alright dad. I won't do it anymore, because creepy four eyes introduced me a new hobby. I think its more fun than making bullying my classmates."

She showed a volume of manga to him.

"And by the way. The creepy four eyes wants me to call him onii-chan from now on as a payback for what I've done to him."

"Hahaha! That boy has no siblings, maybe he wants to treat you as his little sister."

"That's way too creepy."

"No, he's just being kind to you despite that you bullied him. What's his name again? Tamura? No. Yu--"

SCREECH!!!

The bus they are riding suddenly lost its break avoiding the large tree that fell down to the highway from the storm yesterday that made a sharp curve. Unfortunately, the driver's precautionary measures didn't comply as the following bus that is running at full speed crashed at them. The impact of the collision, made the two buses trampled like a trampled tin cans.

Due to the impact, the passengers suffered from injuries. The girl next to his father suffered from a slight head injury while but the sad part is that the father who came to shield her was stabbed by glass and metal shards that took his life immediately.

The sleeping beauty woke up from her sudden nightmare that made her body sweaty of the tension that her mind made. Tears suddenly started flowing from her eyes and made her nervous like she's like a little girl being haunted by ghost and monsters in her childhood.

After she calmed down, she decided to call her mum to tell the awful dream she had. Whenever she has bad things that she dreamed about. Her mother was advised by the psychiatrist to have her report the things that she's dreaming for the specialist to observe the possible recovery of her memories.

"What's with the sudden phonecall Chii-chan?"

"M-mum, I have a horrible dream."

"Calm down first sweetie. Then describe it what it was."

Chizuru described the dream she has. And it's totally vivid that she's terrified to it.

Her mother explained that the things she dreamed is about the tragedy they were into right before she lost her memories. That's also how her father died.

The girl in need of medical needs to be with someone. So her mum advised that she needs to move at her soon to be stepfather's house as soon as possible.

The next evening, Chizuru went to the address that she's instructed to go. She also brought her cat in a cage because there wont be someone to be able to take care of the cat in her apartment.

She ends up in front of a medium sized house, almost a size of a villa that is meant to be for a family residence. She went at the doorstep to press the doorbell. She's partly nervous in meeting her mum's fiance that she never met, from the way she looked at the house, the owner must be a respectable old man in his profession in his fifties. She's too preoccupied in thinking what her future stepfather may look like that she forgot that she's infront of the doorstep of an unfamiliar house until a green haired man in his late twenties opened the door. Her eyes widened and her jaws dropped with disbelief that her mother fished out some hottie to marry that is suppose to paired up with a girl like her.

"Ha!? Midori, could you be my Mother's fiance? WTF that cougar is into? She's totally out of her mind!" She began bawling out her violent reaction clenching her fist thinking that life is so unfair that she, an eligible bachelorette is much more deserving for a love of her life.

"Okay, tell mum that I won't be staying in this house as she wishes."

"Wait Chizuru san, you have mistaken--." Chizuru did not let finish talking and all of the sudden turned away from him for a dramatic exit with her luggage. Unfortunately, Midori firmly grabbed her wrist to prevent her to do that so.

"Midori, what's with the sudden commotion. Is there anything wrong with the visitor?" A barritone voice of the respectable old man suddenly exclaimed. She turns around she saw a couple at the foyer, and it appears to be that her mum's fiance is the man in her fifties beside her.

"No father. She's actually surprised that I will be her stepbrother from now on."

"Chii-chan, do you know him?" Her mum asked with a curiosity.

"Uh, Somehow."

"The way they talk, I think she's a good friend of my son. Well, there's no need for us to introduce him to her."

"That's right my dear. I think they also suit for each other." Her mum teases.

Chizuru is welcomed warmly by the Nagamasa family. And Midori is also forced to move for a while from his bachelor's pad where she also went when she collapsed in the streets that Fujimoto helped her.

"Your first reaction that you have mistaken me for your mother's fiance is hilarious." Midori chuckled as they went upstairs to show where her bedroom is.

"Oh shut up! I hate it that you turned out to be my stepbrother as well, Midori."

"Call me 'Onii-chan' instead."

"No I wont."

"I'll make you say that, but for the meantime, I'll have you take some rest for tonight."

As she made it inside her room, she turned back from Midori at the door because of irritation to him. Midori voluntarily closes the door. Right after when she is about to walk to her bed, she realized that something or someone is preventing her to walk away that made her freak out.

"Omigosh, is there a ghost or something? Someone's pulling my skirt but I can't turn around. Oh please, don't scare me like this."

She's gone hysterical when it turns out that Midori made her edge of the skirt stuck in the door. Because of the noise, Midori finally decided to open the door to free her being stuck at the door. She turns around again whats pulling her only to find out that Midori's antics. The man is laughing at her with amusement making him want to toy her more.

The old couple seems not surprised with all those bickering and bawling between friends, although they are not really in good terms anyway.

They stayed in the house for a couple of weeks before the couple's wedding like a normal family. But the big brother Midori is constantly making fun of little Chizuru day by day.

The wedding was then held in a hotel where there are many guests. Chizuru on the other hand is wondering if Mr. Nagamsa will make a stable partner for her mum.

Soon after the wedding, the married couple will be out in the house for a week for a honeymoon. Leaving the two stepsiblings to be alone in the house. This is also the start of Chizuru's hell being with Midori.

"How 'bout watching a movie for tonight?"

"No thanks."

"Admit it or not, you're just scared watching the movie I rented."

"I'm not that cowardly than you think of me."

"So are you gonna watch the movie with me?"

"Fine then."

Chizuru didn't show her weaker side to him because she believes that that will have him more advantage of bullying her.

Instead of screaming and showing that she's scared. She's dumbstruck on how the movie is scaring her to the very core of her soul. From the disturbing and unpredictable scenarios with suspense made her shock. She's turning pale, but she is mustering her courage not to look terrified in the movie.

Chizuru is going to leak but then, she finds harder for her to walk in dark places. But she needs to, so she dashed like a ninja to the restroom.

"Chizuru-chan, Be careful if Jason is in there." Midori teased.

"Say more and I'll kill you."

"Woah, Chizuru-chan is way too scary."

After finishing her business in the restroom she decided to go upstairs in her room to ditch Midori , but thinking that she will be alone in the cold made her paranoid because of the movie she watched.

She decided to withdraw from her plan and stayed with him for good.

"Chizuru chan, are you okay?"

"Y-yeah, I'm okay."

Chizuru keeps herself from trembling by hugging the pillow near her. Just out of the sudden, the scene and the noise made her more terrified that made her cry loudly. That scene made her remember of her nightmare she have that it has to deal with her past memories. The traumatizing scene made her head hurt and remember the succeeding scenes after her nightmare.

"D-dad? Daddy? Are you okay?"

She's already looking at her dad's content smile at her daughter.

"Dad you're bleeding!"

Only to find out that she's covered in blood also but didn't feel any pain. She double checked if she's hurt anywhere but didn't find any wounds or slashes in her body, she checked in her dad's body if he's hurt only to find out that he is skewered by large multiple shards of glasses and metals that made her dad vomit with blood continuously. That horrifying scene made her endless hysteria when she didn't heard his breathing. She can't accept the scene infront of her, she wants to forget everything that happened now, she can't deal with the grotesque scene her father had that he didn't even deserve to have that horrible death. Her head starts to be in pain of all those she's suffering mentally and emotionally. Thus having emotional breakdown that made her faint at the spot.

Midori turned off the TV to calm the agitated girl sitting next to her.

Chizuru held her head down with both of her hands. And tears began flowing from her eyes. He pitied the lady, looking like a traumatized girl.

He decided to wrap her arms around her, reminding her that she's still with a person that is alive, ready to comfort her. His body heat calmed down her shivering body that made her from.

"Calm down Chizuru-chan, I'm here." He said in a sincere and mild manner while smoothing her hair like a child to make her more relaxed.

After She calmed down for crying in almost half an hour, she got up to return to her room.

"I can stay with you for the rest of the night if you want."

"No need. I'm good."

"Wait a second." Midori, went to his room and brought a large teddy bear with him.

"I'll let you have this teddy bear Fujimon gave me."

"I can't have that. I'll borrow this instead and I'll give it to you as soon as possible."

"Okay."

Midori knew from her mother that hugging plushies makes her calm down ever sincr she was a little girl.

Chizuru slept her depression off because she has to go to work the following morning.

That morning, her mum called her.

"Hi dear, are you alright? I heard from Midori from what happened that night."

"Ah, Its alright mum, I'm okay now."

"Does your head hurt? Are you feeling dizzy?"

"I have had a headache that evening, but I drank my anti-depressants and I'm able to have enough sleep."

"Okay. You have your appointment in your psychiatrist right? I'll let Midori join you."

"I'm okay by myself."

"No, I insist. What will I do if something happened to you?"

"But--"

"No buts!"

Her mum hangs up. She redials again to call her back but the line is already busy.

As her mother wishes, she went with Midori.
