It opened with a gate then it showed the inside where two kids were walking into a room. They got spooked by something then they saw it was just a suit of armor. The boy just rolled their eyes. They continued walking then they felt something come up behind them. They turned around as a camera clicked and the boys screamed as it showed the outside. Then it shifts towards the sky. Where the title screen said 'The animators and sonic in the nightmare of the darks." Then it showed two photos being held. Then it showed two ghosts one with a bandana and one with a bow tie. Holding cameras. In front of them was a pile of pictures. The one with the bandana said "Hey you dropped your camera" and made the bow tie ghost drop his camera. "We'll you dropped yours." He retorted doing the same. Then it showed a ghost girl looking through the photos. Then she said "This one..." this made the bow tie ghost look happy then she said "Is garbage. This is the one." The bandana ghost cheered as the bow tie ghost tried to catch the picture as the girl ghost pinned the picture to the wall giving the bandana ghost a kiss on the cheek making him cheer. The bow tie ghost and girl ghost heard a knock on the door as they heard "Hello?" The bow tie ghost laughed. Then it shows the outside. Dreamworks said "Hello? Anyone home? We'd like to get out of this rain please." "You do realize the place looks completely abandoned right?" A voice to his right says. Then the door slowly opens as they saw it open. The same voice says "And is unlocked for some reason." They all walked in. Leaving prints on the floor. Evil said holding a hand near his mouth "Sorry for intruding." Then the familiar voice revealing to be a giant alligator with a black coat and sailors cap on said "No ya ain't." They all looked up at the roof. Then chip followed them. Dreamworks said "Guys come on." They followed her upstairs as chip looked at a picture which Lightning flashed as it showed one eye then it began to look at him. Maxim then looks back at him "Hey!!" He yells causing Chip to jump in surprise "You coming or what?" He followed them into a room. They walked past a mirror while Chip tip toed by when lightning flashed he spooked himself getting everyone's attention as they look at him with disbelief and anger. "Chip!" "Come on man!" Maxim says "I'm too drunk to deal with this." What Chip didn't know was that his reflection was staring at him. When he turned his reflection became the bow tie ghost and spooked him then he got a picture. He shows it to the girl ghost, as the bandana ghost looks disappointed. Then the girl ghost kissed the bow tie ghost on both cheeks making him melt. Then the bandana ghost screamed left with the bow tie ghost following and back and forth they got pictures of Chip scared. "HURRY UP CHIP!" He heard Maxim yell. Then as chip was panting and following he felt a tap on his shoulder. Then he turned around to see Evil make a funny face with a flashlight making him faint. Then the bandana ghost took a picture of him. Then the girl ghost looked over them as she said "decisions, decisions." They looked at eachother. Then she said "Huh what's this? They're everywhere!" They two ghost look confused. Then the girl ghost said "Look! Look look look!" It showed the animators in the pictures. The others look surprised "What the?!" One of them finally say. They looked at the pictures than at the girl then she said "Hmph!" She floated away. "How could this happened?!" Then the bandana ghost said "Follow me!" "...Fine!" The other reluctantly said as they floated away. The animators with Maxim, and team sonic with Chip being tired were walking down a hallway then they heard a clank. Travis says "Maxim was that you?"
"I don't clank, boy." Was the animatronic gators only reply. They saw a shadow then they saw a suit of armor moving then when it faced them with green eyes. Chip shouted "Run!" He and team sonic ran away only to bump into something. Knuckles grabs his head "Ow!" They all looked up to see another suit of armor. This one reached his hands out like it's going to grab them with orange eyes making them all fall. Then ran back to the animators. Chip was holding Blantados' arm. Then as they were shaking they all saw Dreamworks, Evil and Travis shaking. Maxim says "It ain't even cold!" As they looked at the armor seeing them getting closer and the three as they were on the floor, they didn't see the armor taking out a camera also revealing the two ghosts. Then the three looked at the full moon. Then the three all began to change. Dreamwork's eyes became slanted. Evil's ears became more pointier. Travis' hands became claws. Dreamworks' teeth became pointy, Which was making the armor ghosts confused. Everyone was scared and shocked to see the transformations. Blantados says "What the?" The three roared out making the ghosts fly back, and the two ghosts took a picture of themselves but didn't know it, then they saw the transformed three animators. The bow tie ghost said scared "Let's get out of here!" "Agreed!" They flew off making the crew all say "Huh?" Then it showed the ghost girl laughing at the photos of them. She was laughing hysterically. The two looked down in disappointment. Then as the photos of the animators fell. The two looked at it. Then got angry. "Those bastards!" The bandana ghost said "Let's get them!" They smack there hands together. Which they growled as it glows green. Then it shows some fire crackling as the animators, team sonic and Chip were sitting but Nightmare dreamworks was sitting on the floor due to her size. Maxim was shotgunning a beer. Chip sighed as he leaned on the table. "What's up with you?" The robotic gator finally said. Chip was about to answer but was interrupted by rumbling. "What now?" They saw a giant green ghost with horns jump through the floor as the others hid. Maxim just looks at it. It roared as the three dodged the attack from the ghost then going around and hit it straight in the face. Maxim sighs. Then it knocked a camera away from the ghost to the others who were hiding. They looked surprised. As the three landed as Evil used his fist, but they saw it go through the ghost. Maxim says "Intangibility." They saw the ghost turn invisible then they looked around confused not knowing it was behind them. "And invisibility." Maxim said. Then it punched the three back into the others making Chip hit the camera making it take a picture and printing a picture. Maxim crush's the can he was holding. Chip looked at the picture then he got an idea. Maxim says "You gotta plan kid?" As the three got up, they were met with a hand making them fly back into the entrance room. Then a camera was thrown as Sonic shouted "Catch!" The camera bounced off of Nightmare Dreamworks' head as they saw the others shout "Hey!" Chip said "Use this to fight the ghost!" Maxim says "That's a stupid plan....but a plan nonetheless. Give it a shot." Evil gave a thumbs up as they looked around. The three each took a picture. Then three photos came out but they were blank. Maxim says "This is a camera from my time! The picture won't show immediately!" They tried to look at the photos but then saw the ghost that uppercuts them into the air then they took pictures as they came down. Then they tried to make them show up faster but was hit by the ghost making them slide and they saw that the pictures did not help. They got mad and attacked all wild. Then they got hit by the ghost by the horns making them hit the wall making them go unconscious. Then the ghost took the camera but the two ghosts came apart as they fought for it. The bow tie shouted "It's mine!" "NO ITS MINE!" The other retorted. The bow tie said "This one will make her like me more!" "No! It will make her like me more!"
"All of this...is for a girl?" Maxim shakes his head before sighing "Young love." He mumbled. As the two continued fighting the three woke up from unconscious. Then they walked up to the two ghosts. The two stopped fighting over the camera and turned their heads slowly. "Ahhh...crap." The bandana ghost said. They roared at them as Evil lifted them up and spun them around and threw them up as they were coming down. The three got ready to attack them. The camera took a picture then the two went flying off. "This is all your fault!!" One of them said but who did...was unkown. The camera landed then a picture came out then the ghost girl looked at it to see the three. She looked at it happily then she hugged it. Then she looked over to see the three and the others cheering giving high fives and cheering. Then she got an idea. Maxim says as they're walking out "So, all in favor of just going to a hotel next time say "Aye!" They all said "Aye!" Morning was coming as the three and the others were walking through the door. Evil was seeing that the rain stopped. The others went up ahead. As the three were about to follow. 'Chip' came up all hyper making the three confused. 'Chip' asked "Can we take a photo?" As they were talking the two ghosts looked out the window unhappy. The bandana ghost said "Oh man." Then he looked at whoever was tied up in the chair then back out. "Once again. We agreed." The bow tie ghost said 'Chip' then sets up the camera then went back to the three making them roll their eyes and made a pose. But 'Chip' made them surprised as the camera flashed and made a picture. "Come on kids!" Maxim yells "We don't got all day." Then the three ran as 'Chip' grabbed the picture which reveals the ghost girl with the three. Maxim says over the picture "let get y'all something to eat. Bet y'all are starving." As they were walking. The two ghosts watched them looked back at who was tied up in the chair and sighed. Chip was trying to get untied but making the chair top over and making him fall. Then it ended.
