When Justina wakes up, Ty smiles and sits on the bed beside her. It takes him a moment to adjust to her without the ender cracks on one side of her face or her purple flame eye. Now she has a normal face and her eyes are the same royal purple as his.

"What happened?" she asks.

"You're an angel now," he replies. Her eyes widen.

"Really?"

Ty nods, unable to hold back his joy. It's been a really hard couple of weeks, but he's actually happy now. Nobody is going to get hunted down and killed.

Ty grabs a spare regeneration potion from the side table and hands it to her. She drinks the entire bottle and stands up, and together the two of them walk into the dining hall.

Ann and Mitch are already sitting there when they arrive. Her wings are white like his, and she looks happier than ever.

"S'up?" Ann asks, snuggling closer to Mitch.

"I'm hungry," Justina replies.

The doors open and Adam walks in with Jerome, Khali, Jason, Ian, and Wolfie.

"Where's Quin?" Ty asks.

"She refuses to leave Notch's side. She's only going to leave when he's stable," Wolfie sighs. "I'm just getting some food for her and I."

"How close is Notch to being stable?" Mitch asks. The wolf shrugs.

"You'd have to ask Quintana."

He grabs some food and leaves the room. Everyone else sits down and begins to eat the food that is piled on the table.

"Being an angel is weird," Khali says after a long period of silence.

"I second that," Ann says.

"In what way is it weird?" Ian asks.

"I feel so... pure. All the evil that I've done feels like it happened a million years ago or not at all," Khali explains. "Instead of sucking in all the light from around me, I expel it. It's an odd sensation." The other former demons nod in agreement.

"Interesting..." Jason mumbles.

Everyone is silent once again as they continue to eat. Ty looks at all the new angels around the table and smiles slightly.
