Chapter 8: The Phenomenon's

(I'm sorry if anyone can't understand what Krystal says because of the glitching/stuttering... If anyone needs help knowing what she says, ask)

Darkness... I can't feel anything... I can't hear anything... I can't see anything- "Wake up Darling... You can do this..."  A calming mother like voice echoed, causing a shiver to go up my spine.

"Who's there!?" I shouted, looking around the darkness.

"No need to worry, kid. I am no harm to you." The low voice said, I turned to see a shadowy silhouette of a person. It seemed like they were wearing leather, had short hair, and something shiny on their head.  

"Who are you?! Where am I?!" I shouted, as the figure got closer. The figure seemed to have something in it's hand.

"Can't say... But I won't hurt you, just trust me..." It said it's voice hypnotizing and peaceful.

"I- I- I trust- ... No!!! I don't trust you! Get away from me... You- You monster!"

The monster paused. "Monster, yea? So be it then... Once again, I wont hurt you... But I can't promise you that they wont," I turned as a bunch of black figures appeared out of nowhere.

I turned and started running, I could hear the monster laughing from behind me. 'Mom, Dad.... Help me...'

Jennet's Pov

"He... Might be different when he wakes up, but that umm... It's not my fault."

"Wait, What do you mean by that?" Daithi asked.

"He may be different?" Alice repeated.

Krystal looked at Zeke and then started feeling around the wall. Her fingertips barely touched the rocks, but the rocks froze with the little contact.

"H-Here," Krystal muttered. No one seemed to notice her.

She put both of her hands on the wall, the wall froze with a thick layer ice covering it. She took a step back away from the wall. In an instant, she slammed her foot into the ice, the ice and a huge chunk of the wall crumbled to the ground. Everyone looked over to her, some gasped, some looked confused/scared.

"How could I forget! Krystal you're a genius!!" The Angel shouted, picking up running over and jumped into the hole in the wall. Sno and May, following after her. Krystal looked at us, gesturing us to enter, but we all shook our heads.

"What are you?" Daithi asked, glaring at Krystal.

"Hmm? I-I'm a-a d-deity," She said like it was obvious... Which it kind of was.

"No... What are you?" Alice asked, confusing all of us. "Wh-What am-m I?" Krystal stuttered, Krystal seemed to be even more confused then we were.

"Yeah, What are you... Your not a deity and if you are then you a more then that," Dathi said pulling a shard of glass out of his pocket. I heard a gasp come from Krystal but she was ignored. He held it up to his eye and handed it to Alice. "Your also something else." Alice continued.

"Where did you get that!!!"

Krystal didn't stutter... Me and Malachi looked at each other. She also seemed... Mad? ...

"Well... My father, King Henry, gave one to me and my siblings and his sister, my aunts, siblings."

"And where did King Henry-" She paused. "K-King H-Henry-y?...W-When did-d P-Pr-rince Hen-Henry be-become a K-K-King??" We all looked at Krystal confused, she was too deep in thought.

"Wait! Lil Henry's now a king?" Sno's head popped from the side of the hole.

"You didn't know?" May's voice ringed through the cave, but she didn't show her face.

"May your forgetting that they have been in slumber for a while now. The last time I was called, I decided I wouldn't sleep. So when you came with King Henry and Queen Katherine... They didn't have to call me, remember?" Sekhmet asked.

"Oh yeah!"

"He became a King not too long ago... I don't know how many years you were sleeping." Malachi said, as I looked over at him...

"Wh-atev-er!" Kystal tuned back to Prince Dathi and Alice. "I ab-absolutely-ly- HATE!- people like you, you really know how to make me lose my- TEMPER-" She froze and coughed a bit, her angry expression glitches into an emotionless expression. "Wh-Where d-did Prin-King H-Henry g-get I-it?" Krystal demanded, some ice forming at her feet.

"I don't know... Just tell us what you are!"

"F-Fine... I-I a-am a-a-a ph-phenomenon." Krystal muttered, as Malachi and I looked over in shock. "So the black mist equals phenomenon?" Daithi asked, as Alice handed the piece of glass to Malachi.

Malachi frowned, looking through the piece of glass. He handed it over to me as I inspected it. It was tinted green around the edges and I raised it up to my eye. If you forget about the tinted green, she looked normal, but... She had a black mist flowing around her, the mist seeped from her eyes.

"Correct..."

"So what are you? Malachi and May said that phenomenon's are four different monster," She growled when Alice said monsters.

"M-Ma-Malachi and-d M-May, eh? *Sigh* I am p-pa-art I-Ice Deity-y, D-De-Demon, Ba-Banshee, and A-Arti-c Wer-Were-w-w-w-wolf but m-my main-n-n Ph-Phenom-om-enon is-s a-an Ic-Ice Dei-ity," We all looked at her confused and Sno continued for her. I couldn't really understand her with the stuttering.

"People who are Phenomenon's, hide from other creatures who are jealous. So you're born with 'one' trait that shows... You can decide when you want to show the others," We all nodded and she smiled, climbing out of the hole.

"How old are you all?" I asked, as everyone looked at me. "I mean- If you don't mind."

Sno chuckled, "I'm........." Her voice drifted from my mind as I looked around at the floor. I spotted the book May had when summoning Sekhmet, Krystal, and Sno. I ran over and picked it up.

 It was a leather-bound book that seemed to have over 300 hundred pages. It had  The cover was a light brown. In the bottom right corner, in black ink, cursive writing, the letter M. I opened up to a random page, page 53.

Day 53, The Phenomenon.

   Today, I made a pretty big mistake. I was out on my normal daily walk and... I had bumped into a Feint? He had wolf ears but the aura of a Reaper. He was so pissed. After a bit of- a lot of apologizing, he told me what he was. He wasn't technically a feint. His parents were both feints and he told me that he had the traits of all four. Known as a  Phenomenon. 
   A Phenomenon is four supernatural creatures combined. A feint is two different supernatural creatures. When two feints fall in love and have a child... There is a very small percent chance that their child will be a Phenomenon and-

"Marlen! Pay attention!" Sekhmet's voice rang from the cave. I looked back down at the book and turned a couple pages. Page 136

Day 184, Invited.

   The Phenomenon, whom I had now learned that he was called, Venom. He had invited me to this royal ball, he was apparently the 'Guest of Honor.' I trusted him so I thought, 'why not?'
   Sadly I found out that, I made a big mistake trusting a Phenomenon.

Day 185, Tricked.

   I was tricked! The little bastard ticked me! How dare he take my trust and use it against me! He had trapped me in a horde of werewolves and vampires! Then he had attacked the Kingdom of Anasa! This kingdom was the most neutral and nicest kingdom, in the entire world!
   I was saved by Venom's brother. He tricked the werewolves and vampires, telling them that he was going to experiment on me. I thought he was actually going to experiment on me in till he handed me a potion and said, 'Drink this, it will make you invisible and they won't be able to sense you.' 
   I remember asking him why he was helping me. He replied with, 'My brother is an asshole, now go, before he gets back.'  I drank the potion and ran. I will never forget him. I knew it wasn't smart to trust him but the look in his eyes were so... Warm.

I paused. 'Venom? I've heard of that name before.' I turned to page 247, to see that it was written in green ink.

Phenomenon, Sekhmet

What she is: Fire Angel, Effret (Fire Djinn/Jinn), Phoenix, Fire Dragon. Hides as Fire Angel.

Summon Spell: Bright and hot like the sun. Crazy and wild like a fire. I summon, the one who changes fate... Sekhmet, The Angel of Fire.

Summoning Items: 
Sekhmet's Phoenix Statue.
A Crystal from Volcano Sen.
The Feather of a burnt Phoenix or A Feather from a Fire Angel
The Mane of a Lion
A Box of Matches

How to get Summoning Items:

Sekhmet's Phoenix Statue, Unknown.

A Crystal from Volcano Sen, these are found inside Volcano Sen, but you can also buy one from a witch/supernatural hunter.

The Feather of a Burnt Phoenix, a feather that falls off of a Phoenix that is being burned by a dark magic flame.

A Feather from a Fire Angel, either kill a Fire Angel, somehow get it from the Angel with out a fight, or get one from a Demon/Witch (most Demons hunt Angels.)

The Mane from a Lion, hunt a lion or ask a merchant.

A Box of Matches, ask a merchant.

Note: It is best to summon Phenomenons together.

Summoning Circle: Unknown

Strength: Fire, (anyone with wind magic helps her)

Weakness: Water, plain water, (Magical Water, has no effect on her) and other Phenomenon's.  

Down Effect: Anything she touches burst into flames.

I turned a couple of pages and found Sno and Krystal, Page 254 and 255. Page 254,

Phenomenon, Sno

What She is: Snow Deity, Yeti, Demon, Arctic Werewolf. Hides as Snow Deity.

Summon Spell: Summon the ones that are the same. Summon the Ones who give despair. The Chill of a Glacier. The Fluff of Frost. The twins of the cold ascends again. Damontoickananglofnnowthnwdetes. Sno.

(Sno doesn't need any of these items except, The Silver Snowflake from the Deadly Forest, but she will break promises and acts evil without the other items)

Summoning Items:
The Silver Snowflake from the Deadly Forest
Dark Snow

(You can't summon only sno, you have to summon her and her twin sister.)

How to get Summoning Items:

The Silver Snowflake from the Deadly Forest, Unknown

Dark Snow, Snow from the Dark Forest, a witch, wizard, and/or merchant may have Dark Snow.

Unknown Items, Krystal, Sno's twin sister, hid the items with one of her items.

Summoning Circle: Pentagram

Strength: Snow, Ice, any other Phenomenon's powers.

Weakness: Fire

Down Effect: Unknown

What she is: Ice Deity, Demon, Banshee, Artic Werewolf. Hides as Ice Deity.

Summon Spell: Summon the ones that are the same. Summon the Ones who give despair. The Chill of a Glacier. The Fluff of Frost. The twins of the cold ascends again. Damontoickananglofnnowthnwdetes. Krystal.

(Just like Sno, Krystal doesn't need any of these items except, The Cracked Tear of a Frozen Banshee, but she will not be happy without the other items.)

How to get Summoning Items:

The Cracked Tear of a Frozen Banshee, In a cave somewhere near The Kingdom of

A Block of Ice from the Lake of Spirits, find a block of ice from the lake of spirits it doesn't matter how big the block is as long as it can fill up the palm of your hand.

Hair from an Angry Banshee, a witch might have it or get a Banshee angry, note: you might die.

Unknown Item, she doesn't like being summoned so she hides.

Summoning Circle: Pentagram

Strength: Ice

Weakness: Fire

Down Effect: She seems to glitch... or stutter... As if she's cold.

On the page was a black and white sketch of a dragon eye. It also had a list of Five different colors.

I heard a crash coming from the cave, I looked up and no one noticed. I slipped over to the cave entrance and looked in. Sekhmet was on her knees, huddling over Prince Zeke's body, May standing right next to her. There was a huge crack in the ground underneath Prince Zeke. It looked as if he was thrown into the floor.

"Zeke?" Sekhmet muttered. Prince Zeke's body twitched. "We need to hurry before it's to late," May growled aggravated. "You guys okay?" I called as they looked at me. "Yes, can you come here and assist us?" May asked.

I walked over to them and handed May the Phenomenon book. "I found your book on the floor." She looked at the book then smiled down at me. "Thank you, Jennet."

"Did you write it?" I asked. "No, Someone I knew very well wrote it." May smiled at me.

I looked around the cave and spotted candles, books, chalk, the walls were stained with ink, there was a hole full of water, and a big black curtain. "What do you need my help with?" I asked. "Get Prince Dathi or Alice." I walked out and called for Prince Dathi.

He walked over, "What is it Jennet?" He asked. "They need your help." He looked hesitant. "Prince Zeke might wake up." His eye lit up and joined me. "What can I help you with?" Prince Dathi asked.

"Sit behind- ... Rest his head on your lap." May replied. Prince Dathi sat behind Prince Zeke and placed Prince Zeke's head on his lap. "Jennet stand by the entrance of the hole in the wall and block it." Sekhmet ordered.

"Why?" I asked, suspicious.

"Just do it... Please?"

"Yes ma'am."

Sekhmet placed a black substance on Prince Zeke's forehead and stomach and took a step back. "Ready?" May muttered, as Sekhmet nodded not facing, Prince Dathi and Prince Zeke. "I'm sorry." May muttered, opening the book turning to a page that had an ancient looking language. She started chanting.

May's eyes went red as she slammed the book shut.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Nothing happened-

Prince Zeke screamed, his body launching up.

"Zeke!" Prince Daithi beamed a smile on his face. His smile quickly disappeared noticing Prince Zeke shivering. "Zeke?" "Is everything good in here?" Sno asked, looking at Sekhmet. Her face holding no emotions. "Yup." May replied. "Oh look at the time. It's time for the ball."

2474 words..... 2474 I'm proud of myself... but... *Warning partial sarcasm* .... WHY!!! I hate myself..... I update once a year but the chapters all have like... 2000 words, average. Would people rather have, update frequently but short chapters or long chapters but update once a life time. For all the people who read this story and has been waiting for updates on any of my stories. I'm sorry. I love to write but I suck at writing when I am not in the writing mood.
