Before we start I just want to apologize for not updating... It is summer break and I thought I would be free, but I have been very busy so I haven't had much time. Sorry and here is the 7th Chapter!!!!!

Chapter 7: The Angel and The Devil

Daithi's pov

(Recap) "Can we come with you?" Jennet asked. I looked at her to see her practically begging: Hands together, Puppy eyes, Is pouting. "Yeah Now come on!" I shouted, not really caring, starting to run back after Sky. "That was easy." I heard Jennet mumble.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"   We froze hearing a scream coming from the direction of the fallen buildings. "Come on! That can't be good!!" Sky shouted starting to run again. 'Please.... Please.... Let Zeke be okay....

Two different voices screamed. We ran up to the fallen building and started to climb up. Once we had gotten to the top we froze. There was two unknown figures drenched in red, a purple snake? ... and... Zeke!?!? I was about to call out to him but Alice stopped me and pointed towards the figures and the snake.

"You will pay!!!!!!!!!"

The girl screamed as she pulled something from out of nowhere and threw it at Zeke and he fell to the ground with a thud. "Zeke!!" We all shouted sliding down the hill. The two figures looked at us, then disappeared. The snake slithered over to Zeke and we froze about 14 feet away from them. "What do we do?" Jennet asked me, looking at the snake.

The snake kinda sat there looking at Zeke and then us. "Ugh! Do I have to do everything for you!?" Malachi shouted, looking at Jennet. Malachi walked up to the snake. The snake started hissing as Malachi stepped on its tail before grabbing it's head. Malachi looked at us then at the snake. "Wow! So hard." Malachi said, sarcastically.

"Come on! We need to bring Zeke back to the castle." I said, looking at everyone. "What the!!!" We turned to Malachi to see... The snake was glowing... and in a second a bright purple shinning light blinded us. Once the light died down, we looked over, once again, and saw... "May!" Me and Alice gasped.

"What!" She shouted, running over to Zeke. "H-How did y-you do that m-madam M-M-May?" Alice stuttered, pointing a shaky finger towards May. "She is part snake..." Jennet mumbled, taking a step back. "I am not part snake!! I am part python!" May shouted, putting her hands on her hips. "Your purple..." Alice said. "Not purple, Indigo! There is a difference!!" May said, walking over to Zeke.

"What happened?" I asked, walking over to May. May knelt down next to Zeke and looked up at me. "Demons..." May mumbled, looking back down at Zeke. "Ugh! This is why we need to keep are eyes on him!" May shouted, looking at me and Alice. "What? Why are you looking at us?!?" Alice asked, putting her hands up, surrendering.

"You guys weren't paying attention to him and he ended up leaving the house! If I wasn't there and that Malachi didn't see Zeke leave, then he would of been dead by now!!" May shouted. "Wait... How do you know my name??" Malachi asked, as we all looked at her. "Umm... You said your name before..." May stated, not looking at us.

"No one said his name... May, how did you know his name?" Jennet asked, as we stared at May. She stood there for a second before turning to us, her eyes had changed color to red. "I was hired for a reason." She mummbled, looking at us. "Your eyes..." I started, but stopped. "Red... The sign of a demon." Malachi said, making all of us stare at him.

"Demon?!" Alice asked/shouted. "Technically you can call me that! *Chuckle* Now the only way to save Zeke is to bring him to his birth place." May said, trying to pick up Zeke. Malachi ran over to her and picked up Zeke. "I hope I can trust you." Malachi mumbled, as we all looked at her. "Trust me, If I wanted Zeke, I would of took him a long time ago." May said, putting her hands on her hips.

We all looked at each other. "Fine but we got to hurry... I don't know what that girl did but it can't be good." I said, as May smiled. "Good. Now follow me." May responded and started to run towards the fallen building behind us. 'An adventure... Great.'

Malachi's pov

*1 hour later*

"May! ... Where are we... going?" Daithi and Alice complained. I rolled my eyes as I gentle set Prince Zeke on the ground. "Stop complaining!" I shouted, as they took a step away from me. "Don't worry guys it's just up this hill." May said, walking up the hill. "We are so high up as it is and 20 miles away from the kingdom." Jennet said, resting her hands on her knees.

"Don't blame me blame your parents... Wait, no. Blame their parents." May said, looking at Zeke and Dathi. "Where exactly are we going?" I asked running over to May. "We are going to a cave." May muttered, looking at me with a terrifying glare. "Why? To kill us? Should of figured... You can never trust a filthy demon, like you." I remarked, heading back over to Zeke. May grabbed my arm before I could get away.

"Try me, boy. I can kill everyone right now... So watch it." May threatened, walking up the rest of the hill. *tsk* I walked back to the sleeping boy and picked him up. 'You poor kid...' I thought, heading back up the hill.

*Time Skip*

"We're here." May said. I looked at the cave entrance... The entrance was in the middle of the mountain being a huge hole in the wall. It was covered in layers of what I think is vines... "In there?" Jennet questioned, standing right next to May.

"Correct, come on now! We got work to do!" May shouted, walking into the cave, gently moving the vines out of the way. I looked at everyone's worried faces and walked in to the cave. Wow... Cool.

Alice's pov

I watched as Malachi walked into the cave, I looked at everyone and we slowly walked into the cave. "Wow! So pretty!" I shouted, looking around the cave. At the back of the wall there was a pedestal with a huge Phoenix on it.

It looks... Real. I also fell like it is... calling to me... I started to walk towards it but May stopped me. "You can't get near it..." May muttered, looking at me. I stared back at her in fright as she looked at me. I felt a shiver go down my spine as I took a step back.

I looked at May, as she started to feel around the side of the walls. She stopped and punched the wall. The wall crumbled to reveal a small cubby like hole. She pulled out a book, One big box, and five small boxes. "May?" Jennet started, causing May to look at her. May nodded telling he to continue.

"Is this Prince Zeke's birthplace?" She asked and May nodded. "Why here? It does look pretty but... It is also filthy." I stated, lifting my dress a bit, so it wasn't touching the ground. "Well, it's not that long of a story so I will tell you while I do this." May said opening one of the small boxes. What was inside looked to be a stick of chalk.

"Well anyways, When the Queen and King found out she was pregnant, she got badly sick. The doctor said that they would have to kill the baby or let her give birth to the baby, and have a 10% chance of surviving... The Queen wanted to take the 10% chance but the king was scared... A week before the birth of Zeke, an old friend of King Henry told him and his wife to go to a certain place, when the queen was in labor." She said, as she drawled a cross and then put a circle around it. (Circle is four feet wide from the dot in the circle... If that makes sense.)

She paused and looked at the ground, then she drawled another circle around it, about a foot away from the small circle in the center. "So they did... I went with them, just in case what ever that friend was gonna do, fails, I would stop it/fix it. They went to that place to find his friend and this godly creature. The godly creature looked at them, then looked at the king, and spoke.

'It may be a bit odd... but this is my job. I will give your wife a second chance at life. If you promise to keep that baby away from harm's way... Any harm.'

What the godly creature said confused the King and Queen but they did what the creature said. The Queen had birth to the child smoothly and King Henry's friend helped The Queen back to the castle." May exclaimed, opening another box. Inside the box was a white feather, the feather had a bit of a crimson red at the tip. She placed it in one of the spaces inside the circle.

"What is the creatures job?  Wait... Why didn't dad go with mom?" Daithi asked, as May grabbed for another box. "Umm... Changes Fate." She muttered unsure, looking at the statue. I looked at the pedestal and noticed two symbols on it.

One was a snowflake, that looked like it was made of Silver. The other was a water droplet that had a crack across it, it looked like it was made of a sapphire looking jewel. Weird... May pulled, what I think was hair? "What is that?" "One question at a time!!" May shouted, glaring at us. "Lion mane." May said placing the hair in one of the spots.

"Your mother left with King Henry's friend because the creature did a C-Section like thing on the Queen. The creature told the Queen that she would need to get to a doctor to make sure the baby didn't destroy anything." May grabbed another box, that had a box of matches in it. "So the King's friend escorted her safely to a doctor" May took one of the matches out of the box and set it aside, then placing the box in one of the places.

"King Henry was gonna follow them but the Godly creature stopped him. The creature spoke and what it said would always be itching at the back of King Henry's head..." May said stopping what she was doing, to just look at the ground. I looked at Daithi, then looked back at May.

"It said, 'Your child is cursed, you or your wife had messed with a Phenomenon or it's child.'" May said, as we all kinda tilted are heads in confusion. "A phenomenon is a creature that was birthed with two feint's in it's blood." May said, grabbing another box and opening it. Inside was what looks like a clear sphere like marble... But it looked like there was a live flame inside the marble.

"Phenomenon?" I asked, slowly itching closer and closer to the phoenix. "Phenomenon is like... For example... I am a ...'demon'. That is one of the things that could contribute to being a Phenomenon." May replied. "For example... If a Siren and a Werewolf fell in love and had a child that was a breed of them both... That would be a feint. When two Feint's fall in love and have a child that has all of them they create a Phenomenon. For Example... A Vampire, An Angel, An Nymph, and a Centaur. The child will have the powers, specialty, appearance, and more, of all four of these creatures. " Malachi added, surprising everyone.

May grinned, "Correct. When you get cursed by children of a feint... You are doomed especially if they have four or more children... There is a 6% chance that all four children have either all of them, a 9.9% chance that a feint is born and a 90% chance that a personal trait one, will be born, but the chance of a phenomenon being born is 0.1% chance, which are more powerful then any 'normal' spirit of evil and good, alone." May said, backing away from the circle.

"The creature continued and said... 'You will have one cursed child. That child has been cursed with a rank 8 curse. A rank 8 curse is bad, so watch the baby... It will be chased until insanity... Or until it's change.' The godly creature said, before disappearing. I had to drag the King out of the place because he wouldn't move." May said sadly, before looking up at Malachi.

"Malachi... Bring Zeke over here." May ordered. Malachi walked over to her and placed Zeke on the outer rim of the circle. May motioned for Malachi to take a step back and he did. While Malachi did what she asked she opened the big box to reveal 9 candles. She placed four candles on all four points of the circle.

May grabbed the piece of chalk and drawled another circle this one also wrapping around Zeke's unconscious body, connected to the original. She continued to draw and we all realized what she was drawing. She was drawing a pentagram. She grabbed more candles and placed one at every corner of the star.

"What are you doing!?" Malachi demanded, as May ignored him. "Okay I am starting... Everyone take at least five steps back!" May shouted, as we all slowly backed away. May picked up the match that she had set aside, and swiped it across the ground. She grabbed the book and opened to a page that had a snowflake and the frozen water droplet (with a crack in it.)

The same ones that were on the pedestal. Under the symbols were a weird Latin like writing, she started to read the weird writing, like gibberish as she slowly started to speak English.

Jennet's Pov

"Summon the ones that are the same. Summon the Ones who give despair. The Chill of a Glacier. The Fluff of Frost. The twins of the cold ascends again. Damontoickananglofnnowthnwdetes!!" May shouted, her eyes glowing a dark crimson red. "Sno!!!" May shouted, as the iron snowflake on the pedestal crumbled to the ground.

Once it hit the ground it exploded into snow that turned into a... Goddess?!

She had white, blue, and gray hair and bright, bright, blue eyes with black cat eye slits. She was wearing a white fluffy dress and a white fluffy, snow, frosted leaves, frosted flowers, frosted branches and more, headdress. She was wearing a blue frost phoenix like creature made out of minerals of some type around her wrist and a snow crystal like necklace. She was also wearing earrings that looked like they were her eyes.

Finally she had a sleeping fox wrapped across her shoulders, around her neck.(It's Alive)

She started to laugh a smile on her face.... Snow.... "Krystal!" Just as the sapphire water droplet broke and hit the ground... Spike like ice blasted out of the ground and shattered to reveal another god like creature.

She had braided blue, purple, and white hair, with the same cat eyes but darker of the snow lady. She had on a weird crown thing that had feathers flaring up and a blue and white crystal dress. She had on a crystal necklace with four finger ring that had quarts sticking out of each one except on her middle finger, where their was a crystal ball that had shards of many different metals in it. She had iron wrapped around her fingers and wrist in a pattern , on the palm of her had was an iron snowflake with a sapphire rhinestone in the middle and white icicle heels. Finally she had blue cat eye earrings. (Sorry if this made no sense hopefully you can also see the picture \/ )

"We-Well Well Si-Sister Loo-Loook W-W-Who We H-hav-ve He-He He Here- Here." A glitchy voice spoke looking at the snow deity. .... Ice.... "Krystal... Sno....The Ice and Snow deities." May said, getting on one knee and bowing like a knight. "Mar- May... What an honor it is to be summoned by you." Sno said, smiling.

"Y-Yes, So-o M-Mu-Much Bet-t-t-ter Th-en An-ny-one-e El-se." Krystal glitched, a smile on her face which quickly glitched to a frown, back to a smile. "Now... What is it that you need?" Sno asked looking at us suspicious. "What! I can't just visit my friends?" May asked, putting her hand on her hip. "No." They both answered, in a stern voice.

May looked offended, but sighed and looked back up at them. "I need to summon you know who..." May muttered, they both gasped, looking at her as if she was insane. "What! No! She'll kill us all for waking her up." Sno shouted, Krystal nodding with her.

"No-ot-ot aft-er-er-er-er wh-wh-wha-t-t happ-p-p-pened l-last t-t-t-t-ti-ti-time!" Krystal shouted, her teeth chattering, as if she was cold? "It's important! Really important!" May pleaded, making Sno flinch back. "What's so important?" Sno asked, worry laced in her voice.

"Zeklend. Daemon. Dispair." May said, looking at Krystal and Krystal gasped, before turning to Sno. "Let's do it." Sno mumbled, an evil grin forming on Krystal's face. "Right." Krystal replied, as they both held their hands to their hearts. Their chest started glowing. Sno pulled what looked like to be a snowflake, with very sharp points. Krystal had pulled a icicle that had a hilt like it was a sword.

They stepped into the circle placing the two items right in the center of the circle. The put their hands on Zeke's body before turning to May. "I-I-It's ti-ti-ti-time-e-e-e." Krystal glitched, and May started.

"Bright and hot like the sun... Crazy and wild like a fire... I summon, the one who changes fate... Sekhmet, The Angel of Fire!!" May shouted, as all the candles went out. In a flash of heat, flames erupted around the items and burnt them to a crisp. The statue started shacking as the phoenix broke into small pieces revealing a Phoenix, but it was alive. It flew up into the air an erupted into flames...

The flames went away and in the place of the phoenix stood a women.

She had orange hair the was being held by who knows what. She was wearing a beautiful glowing dress like thing it was covered in lace and was red and orange. She had a long golden necklace with two main ruby rhinestones, and a copper bracelet with a familiar orange eye on it. She also had a skull ring made out of a stone looking material, and dark silver ring with a citrine rhinestone. She had a brown laced beaded anklet looking thing around both feet and Finally a huge crown made out of... fire?!?!

"Marlen! Why did you summon me?" The god like lady demanded, glaring at May with her orange and red blazing eyes. "You're in trouble!!!!" Sno shouted, laughing, Krystal laughing with her. The Angel glared at the two and they shut up quick. "It's Zeke." May muttered. The Angel looked at the boy and gasped.

"What happened!?!" The Angel shouted, kneeling down to look at the boy. "A demon threw a potion on him." Alice shouted. The Angel examined the boy's body and paused. "He... Might be different when he wakes up but that umm... It's not my fault."
