Chapter 5: The Village

Zeke's Pov

I ran down the hallway Alice and Daithi on my tail. I instantly stopped causing them to run into me. Alice looked up to see why I stooped and gasped. "*Gasp* Alana! Wh-What are y-you doing h-here! I thought y-you were s-supposed to be w-with Lady Keeva!" Alice sutured. Alana looked at all of us, her expression was blank. "Lady Keeva ordered me, to tell you that... She is returning today. You will not see her in till the ball today... So don't do anything stupid before hand." Alana said bluntly.

Alana has pink, blue, and purple hair with bright blue eyes. She had a long black dress with black wedged high heels. She had black leather 'gloves' that's what she calls them and she had a silver ring with different shades of pink and purple rhinestones. Alana had a black and silver beaded bracelet and finally a silver charm necklace with a tree charm with all different types of rhinestones.

Alana walked down the hallway leaving us. I stood there in confusion for a couple of seconds before Alice and Daithi snapped me out of it. "Come on... The Village?" Daithi said, as A grin formed on my face and I bolted to the main entrance "Hey! No fare!" They shouted running after me. Once we got to the main entrance one of the guards stopped us. "Where are you three going?" He asked. "To the village! Now get out of my way." I hissed, at him and he moved out of the way.

We walked slowly threw the village the, occasional "Good morning, Prince Zeke and Prince Daithi." We walked in till Alice stopped us and pointed somewhere. I looked at where she was pointing and noticed a puppy laying down on the ground, weak and frail. I ran up to the puppy, ignoring Daithi's objections. I got down on my knee's hearing gasps coming from the people "Hello little guy... You hungry?" I asked the dog as it tried to stand up and get away from me. I stood up and walked over to a man selling bread.

"Hello Sir! Can I buy two loafs of bread?" I asked, with a smile on my face. "You can have them for free." He said going to grab two loafs of bread. "No I can't do that... You or someone did hard labor to make that bread and I will not accept it for free!" I said grabbing the two loafs of bread and tossing 5 gold coins at him. "Wait Prince! Tow loafs just 3 gold coins!" He said. "I know..." I said walking back over to the dog.

I put one of the loafs of bread in front of me. The dog looked at me practically asking for permission when I didn't do anything the dog gabbed the bread and scarfed it down. "Alice do you have any water?" I asked her as she nodded, tossing me a canister of water.

"Did you just feed that dog?" I turned around to see a girl "Yeah." I answered, as Dathi and Alice walked up next to me, like guards. "That's amazing! I have never seen a royal be so nice to a creature!" She said a smile on her face.

She had bright blue hair, up in pigtails and bright brown eyes. She was wearing a cute, short, teal dress with teal high heels. On her right hand she had a cute owl ring with a emerald rhinestone and on her left hand, a gold ring with a Jade rhinestone. Finally, he has a silver chained necklace with a silver charm with emerald rhinestones.

"*Whistle* Bell! Come here boy!" She said, as the puppy looked up at her and jumped up on her. "Is this your dog?" Daithi asked. "No... My fathers dog. When my dad passed away... Bell ran away thinking that dad just left." She said, petting the puppy's head. "Oh! Sorry for your loss!" Alice said, looking down at the ground.

"Oh it's nothing it was a year ago... Can we welcome you inside for some lunch? For a thank you for finding and saving Bell before he could die." She asked. I was hesitant, as I looked at Alice and Daithi and they didn't even look hesitant... They looked willing. Dathi nodded his head and her smile widened as she started walking to her home.

Once we had gotten to there house me and Daithi stood there for a second. "Come on guys!" Alice shouted grabbing our arms and dragging us inside. "Mom! Bro! We got guest!" She shouted as I heard a rush of foot steps, we looked up to see a women in her 20's.

She has green and blue hair with a part of it braided back and bright brown eyes. She had a old but fancy green and black dress . She had a bright green and black high heels and finally, she had a silver and green leaf charm necklace. (I LOVE HER DRESS SO MUCH!!!!!)

"Jennet! What did we tell you about inviting guest-... over." She froze seeing us and instantly bowed. "Prince Zeke! Prince Daithi! I am so sorry did Jennet do something?!" She asked, worry and fear on her face. "No! Mom! I didn't do anything!" Jennet shouted, defending herself. "Then why is the King and Queen's sons here!" The mother shouted back. "I invited them to lunch! They found Bell!" Jennet shouted, picking up the puppy and showing her mother.

"Bell!" The mother shouted, grabbing the puppy out of her daughter's hands. "Thank You so much! My name is Donatella, Eliate but you can call me Dona or Don." Donatella said, looking at us with a smile. I smiled back at her and Daithi was about to talk but was interrupted. "Jennet! Get up here!" a deep and sexy- a low voice shouted. "Oh no." Jennet said, before running up the old stairs.

"Who was that?" Alice asked. Donatella smiled, as she gently put the Bell down. "That is my son... He doesn't like guest, he was always afraid of strangers... Even royalty." Donatella said, sadly. "Oh... We understand we can't force him out of his shell-" I started but was interrupted by a.

*Crash*

"What are you two doing!" Donatella shouted, as she shouted that Jennet came down the stairs dragging someone. "Come on! They are royalty! You at least could say hi!" Jennet shouted. 'A sexy man with a sexy voice'

He had bright blond hair and brown eyes with brown and gold eyes. He was wearing a long sleeve black shirt with tight black ripped jeans. He was wearing black combat boots and a whole bunch of beaded bracelets wrapped around his right wrist. Finally, two rings on his left hand the first one on his index finger was a black steel with a colorful rhinestone The second one was also a black steel with a whole bunch of silver/white rhinestones, the biggest rhinestone was shaped like a heart.

"Hello... Prince Zeke... Prince Daithi..." He said, not making eye contact. "Really Malachi! That's it!" Jennet shouted, as he clicked his tongue. "*Tsk* Yeah... That's it." Malachi replied, looking at his sister. "Hmph! Just go back to your room! They will be leaving after lunch. I'll send your plate up to your room." Jennet said, sadly. He looked at Jennet before he looked at me. He turned and went back up the stairs.

"Sorry about him." Jennet said. "Oh it's no problem! We understand." Daithi said, as they sighed in relief. "Well let's get lunch!" Jennet shouted running in to the kitchen. "You guys actually had a great timing! I just finished lunch." Donatella said walking after her daughter.

We sat down at the table and Jennet had put down a bowl of soup. "I hope you like it! It is mom's best recipe of chicken noodle soup!" Jennet cheered running up the stairs with a bowl. Donatella came over and gave all of us a glass of water and sat down. Alice grabbed a spoon and started eating it quickly.

"AAAAHHHHH!!!! Hot!!!!"Alice shouted, grabbing the glass and drinking almost all of the water. "Well that's what you get for eating it that fast!" I shouted, back at her. Donatella and Jennet started laughing as me and Daithi lectured her about manners.

I finished the soup and felt like someone was watching me. I turned around and saw nothing. I looked over at Alice and Daithi as they were talking to Jennet and Donatella. I stood and walked out the front door. I sat down on a chair on the porch and looked at the house. 'It isn't old looking but I think dad told me about this area of the kingdom being the oldest.'

"Zeke!"

I gasped and turned around to see May.

She had short rainbow hair with a unique purple eye color. She was wearing a nice short purple and black dress with knee high purple boots. she wore a blue and purple crystal necklace hanging lowly around her neck and she had a black clothed choker with a amethyst jewel, a bunch of chains holding up the blue and purple crystal necklace, and a bat charm shaped like a cross. She was wearing three rings the smallest being a silver vine like ring with a amethyst rhinestone wrapped in the vines on her index finger of her right hand, the middle one was a sliver with a realistic purple dragon eye on her middle finger of her right hand, and finally a colorful silver ring with snakes engraved in the silver 'protecting' the colorful gem inside the ring. Finally, she had a rock bracelet made completely out of onyx. (This was like 100 words! That is why I put a photo...)

"May! What are you doing here!" I asked in complete shock. "Your parents are worried! Where is Daithi and Alice?!" She asked, her soft and calming voice filled with worry. "They are inside! These nice people invited us in for lunch. The Eliate's. Now calm down!" I said.

"What calm down! They could of tricked! They could of put poison in your food! Or they could you right when you got in there house! You know how many times your parents have told you that this is the oldest part of the entire kingdom! Your in the slums kid!" May shouted mad. "Okay. Okay... Sorry." I said, as a tear slipped down my face, I never liked getting yelled at. 

"I'm sorry! Let's take a walk! Come on dear." She said, walking off the porch. She stopped and looked at me. "Come on." May said with a smile. I walked down the steps and started walking with her, as she glared at anyone that looked at us. "May?" I asked and she looked at me giving me her full attention. "I felt like I was being watched earlier." I said, as her eyes widened.

"Where were you at?" She asked stopping in her tracks. "I was in the Eliate's house when I felt like I was being watched." I said, as she put her hand to her chin. *Bush rustling noises* "*Gasp* We need to get you back to the kingdom!" May shouted grabbing my hand and started running towards the castle. "What about Daithi and Alice?!" I asked, as she ran pulling me with her. "Don't worry about them... They are the opposite of a magnet while you are a magnet!" She said.

*Crash*

*Gasp* May gasped going to a halt as a house fell in front of us blocking the road. She turned going to run back the way we came from but another house fell in front of us so we were trapped. "I caught you~" A voice called.

Daithi's pov

"So Jennet! Dona! Do you want to attend the ball?" Alice asked, exited. "Ball?! Us?!?" Jennet gasped in shock. "Yeah! It's Zeke's coordination. Even Malachi's invited." I said, happily. "Yeah we'll go to the ball but we got nothing to wear." Donatella said.

"Ball?" Someone said and we turned to see Malachi. Malachi walked in to the kitchen, putting the now empty bowl of soup, in the sink. "Yeah! Your invited if you want to come!" Alice said. "Sure why not." Malachi said "Yay!" Alice cheered.

"Oh and you guys are welcome to go to the castle and get a fancy outfit for the ball." I offered seeing Jennet's eyes light up. "Really?!?!?!" She asked. "Yeah! I'm the son of the king the guards will have to allow you in if the prince says so." I said as Donatella and Jennet smiled.

"Wait a minute... Where is Zeke?" Donatella asked, looking at the table that we were sitting at worried. "Zeke! Oh no no no no no no no no.... Oh No!" Alice shouted. "Calm down!" Malachi shouted, as we all looked at him like 'The prince is missing.... Why the fuck would we be calm.'

"I saw him leave with a girl with a purple and black short dress... and seemed calm. If he was being forced he would have been showing a sign of fear... Which he wasn't." Malachi said pausing but continued. "I came down stairs seeing him leave because well... He's the prince." Malachi said "Wait.... The only person who has wears purple is mom or...... May?" I said as Alice looked at me worried.

"Who's May?" Jennet asked. "May is Queen Elizabeth's handmaiden." Alice said calmly. "The real question is how did she know we went here? There are plenty of villages in our kingdom! How did she know that we were in this one?" I asked suspicious. "I don't know but I think we need to find him now-" Alice said..... but was interrupted....

*Crash*

The first crash was loud but the second crash was louder. "Ms. Eliate!" A high pitched shouted knocking/hitting the door. We all ran to the door as Donatella answered the door to see a little girl around the age of 11. "Sky? What happened? What are you doing here?"

The girl apparently called sky had a green dull eye and short wavy black hair, that covered one eye. She was wearing a cute short red and white dress with cute black flats. She was wearing a silver ring with a ruby rhinestone and a red bracelet with a dead tree charm. Finally, she had a black headband covered in ruby rhinestones with a ruby flower.

"Ms. Eliate!! Two buildings fell down!!!! Three cloaked figures knocked them down!!!!" Sky shouted as me and Alice looked at each other, scared. "Hey! Can you lead us to where the buildings fell? I asked her, she looked at me unsure but after a second she nodded. "This way Prince Daithi. Madam Alice." Sky said bowing her head running down the steps of the house. We ran after her.

"Wait Prince Daithi!!" We stopped to see Malachi and Jennet. "What?" Alice asked them. "Why do you guys care about buildings falling they fall all them time why now?" Malachi asked his voice blunt. "Three cloaked figures.." Alice mumbled but they heard her. "Zeke... Get's attacked... By... Figures like that." I said looking down at the ground.

"Can we come with you?" Jennet asked. I looked at her to see her practically begging: Hands together, Puppy eyes, Is pouting. "Yeah Now come on!" I shouted, not really caring, starting to run back after Sky. "That was easy." I heard Jennet mumble.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

We froze hearing a scream coming from the direction of the fallen buildings. "Come on! That can't be good!!" Sky shouted starting to run again. 'Please.... Please.... Let Zeke be okay....'

Chapter 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With a total of 2637 words. I Kinda rushed this chapter because I had like 3000 words and 2000 words were deleted and I couldn't recover it or remember it.....
