The Disney Concert Hall

"People from the past, have a tendency to walk back into the present, and run over the future." - Anthony Liccione

Tony POV

So Percy was acting strange. What else is new. When I told Percy about the Disney event which I was apparently hosting but hadn't been invited to, she followed my same train of thought. We were going to crash it. So an hour after letting her know it was a formal event, I was waiting by a car when I saw Percy step out of the elevator down to the workshop.

I can honestly say, that I wasn't expecting her to have gone almost all out for this. She was wearing a purple dress, her hair was in a braid, and she had on purple shoes with a bow on the front of them to match with the dress. The only detail about her that is accurate to what I had expected her to look like was the no makeup, she never wore it since she didn't need it.(I couldn't decide what ones to base it off of up there, so you peeps can decide that for yourselves^^^)

"This is what people normally wear to these things nowadays, right?" Percy asked as she came up to stand beside the car with me. "I didn't overdo it? Did I overdo it?"

I chuckled and shook my head. "Percy, you look amazing, and you're dressed nicely for something like this, alright. And if anything, you might have underdone it, you don't have any jewelry on." I pointed out. That was when I noticed something about her neck. I gained a confused look as I asked, "What happened to the bandage on your neck for that bullet wound?"

Percy took a second before she moved her hair and where it had covered was a small scar which looked to have been a few months old. It was red, but that was hardly noticeable. "I heal fast." Was the only answer Percy gave. I nodded and helped her into the car since she still had a brace around her thigh for the other bullet wounds which haven't healed yet.

When I got into the car, I didn't waste any time. "JARVIS, the Disney Concert Hall."

"Because you've always been a rather intuitive man, sir." JARVIS sassed, but started driving there anyway.

When we got there, the cameras started flashing immediately as I stepped out of the car, but I ignored them and came around to Percy's side. She had already opened the door, but when I held out my arm for her, she still took it to help her stand up. I had become way too accustomed to doing this to suddenly just stop because there were vultures around.

Once she was in view, the vultures started taking pictures more rapidly and yelling their questions about her. I simply threw the keys to the valet before both Percy and I made our way through the wall that was reporters. It didn't take a friend of Percy's to know that she was extremely uncomfortable with all of the attention the vultures were giving her. However, she was able to keep the distaste off of her face for the most part and tried her best to ignore them all together.

We went up to Obadiah, and honestly, I don't think that Percy was paying very much attention to the conversation we had, but I could be wrong. When we finally got inside, Percy leaned closer to me as we were headed to the bar.

"I don't trust Obadiah." She told me, and we stopped walking, me looking down at her with disbelief. When she saw that, she elaborated. "My gut tells me not to trust him, that he is a threat. In all my life, my gut has never been wrong. And this isn't the first time that my gut has told me not to trust him."

I stared for a few seconds before nodding. "Alright, I'll be careful around him." I conceded, knowing that was as much as I could give. Obadiah was my main business partner after all. She gave a nod to that.

Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone I didn't expect. Pepper. In a beautiful backless dress. I didn't realize I had continued to stare until I felt a tap on my arm from Percy. She just smiled with a glint of laughter in her eyes.

"What're you waiting for? Go get her." She told me, tilting her head in Pepper's direction. I tried to protest, but Percy just said, "I'll be fine on my own. Don't kill your social life at my expense."

I nodded and looked back at Pepper before clearing my throat and saying, "Thanks." Then straightening my tie, I walked off to Pepper, leaving Percy by the bar.

Hey guys! Sorry for not giving an update in almost a year, but life challenged me to a fight and I lost. I was then challenged to a rematch and life is still swinging.

However, I won't name any names, but some people have demanded an update out of me. So here ya go. Short for a chapter of mine, I know, but the next one will hopefully be longer.

I'm trying to transition out of the Iron Man movie so I can have a bit more creative freedom. That's also another reason why this took so long to get out. I can't find the Iron Man movie so I've been working off the script and what I can remember seeing as I haven't watch the movie since the beginning of quarantine.

Also, this underneath this paragraph will be put up at the beginning of every new chapter from here on out. For those who don't know, this book was stolen by another reading platform.
