Chapter 4: The J.S.D.F
Gojira surfaces, slowly coming ashore, his new sword strapped on his back. He sighs when he sees Gojiren and the others waiting for him.
"There you are! Where have you been?!"
"Dealing with something."
"What is that something?"
"Family."
"Oh."
"So, wait. You disappear, leave Junior a crying mess, and you face off against your shitty family?"
"Yes, sorry about that, and yes. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to take care of the little one."
Gojira thumps off, looking for Junior. Suddenly, a small blur impacts with his chest. He looks down to see a crying Junior. He pats her head.
"I was so worried! *sniff* You didn't even say bye!"
"Sorry little one. I had to deal with them."
"O-Ok."
"Come. Want to see my shiny new sword?"
"Yeah!"
They rush off, but they don't realize a small drone buzzing behind them. The large screen I was connected, hundreds of miles away, was being watched by several people.
The one in the black shirt, Miki Saegusa, frowns as she stares at the Alpha Titan.
"So any info on this so called Alpha Titan?"
"Yes. While we were busy with Ghidorah, there were other things going on in the countries. In Antarctica, they discovered another member of Ghidorah's species."
"What? What happened?"
"A clash between kings."
The women turn to see a man standing there, leaning on a cane for support.
"Who are you, and how did you get in here?"
"My name is Ishiro Serizawa. I am a relative of the man who detonated the Oxygen Destroyer. I know many things about the King of the Titans."
"Oh? Do tell, Dr. Serizawa."
"In 1954, during the first appearance of Gojiren, an American nuclear submarine dived into the lower depths, beyond anything at the time. That submarine... awakened something. While Japan struggled with its own Kaiju problems, Monarch, an organization that studies and if the need arises, contain or kill hostiles. Gojira, as we call him, is natures balancer, a being whose sole purpose is to heal wounds inflicted upon this world."
Serizawa rubs his left leg, as if reminiscing on what caused it to be so weak. He sighs.
"10 years ago, Titanus Ghidorah, the False King, was awoken by Alan Jonah, an eco-terrorist, and Emma Russel, a Monarch scientist disillusioned by the power of restoration the Titans had. The Americans used a more powerful, dangerous oxygen destroyer. It had no effect against the False King, but Gojira was severely injured. He fled to a deep ocean cavern, which lead to a massive ancient city. The civilisation that once lived in it apparently worshipped Godzilla."
"I see. And what else did you find there?"
"A story behind Ghidorah's hatred for this world."
He motions for one of his associates to come over.
"This Doctor Madison Russel. She is my student, and my aid."
"Pleasure to meet you all. We found these images on several walls. Despite having a nuke detonated in it, the city seems to have just... pulled itself back together. We'll get back to that later, so let's focus on Titanus Ghidorah's history."
A holographic screen flickers on, showing a mural of Ghidorah holding a woman in his arms. The picture changes showing the shape of another Ghidorah striking the woman with lightning. The final one showed Ghidorah over a bed like formation, tears dripping from.
"At first, it seems like the woman was killed, but we did a bit more research, and the attack simply put her in a coma. Apparently, the guards that Dagon, Gojira's father, had assigned to her to keep her safe ignored her cries for help. Ghidorah hates our world after that. We have located the woman's resting place, but Ghidorah refuses to leave the area."
The hologram switches to a map. It shows the shape of Ghidorah, while showing several arrows pointing straight down, starting at his feet.
"These arrows represent ancient tunnels. They all go into a big chamber, with a coffin shaped object in the center. Ghidorah guards it viciously, but we've recently seen being less aggressive."
"I see. And what is your plan?"
"Get to the lady. Wake her up, and hopefully she'll make Ghidorah less aggressive towards everything."
In fact, in the Antarctica
Ghidorah raises his head, his two draconian head chittering. They head a voice. At first it's faint, but get slightly louder.
"Ghidorah. Ghidorah. Ghidorah!"
"Sarim? Is that her I'm hearing."
"I think so bro! Sarim? Is it you, babe?"
"Yes. Ghidorah. You must let the humans come to me. It's the only way I can return to you."
"How can we tell this your voice, eh? How are we dearie?"
"Ni... I've haven't spoken in several millions of years. How could those humans ever hope to get a sample of my voice."
"She's right brother. There's no way they could. But are you sure your okay with this? They could experiment on you beautiful body?"
"So you admit I'm beautiful after all these years."
"Yes. Even our cold heart admit sit was warmed by your beauty. Which is why... we'll allow them to come to you. As long as you promise you'll come straight to us."
"I will. I love you, all three of you."
Her gentle presence fades away, and the heads begin to talk again.
"It was good to hear her voice again after all these damnable years. So do you reckon that our little bitch ass pansies of sisters will try to harm her again?"
"Of course they will. But this time..."
Lightning crackles in their throats. They then speak in a dark tone, in unison.
"They won't get away alive."
