I entered the stone building and in there I see a young girl and across the hallway there was a door and a stone plaque at the front of it, I walk to the young girl "what are you doing in this building all alone? Are you looking for something?" I asked "I'm..... I'm looking for the rock of life that can cure a disease that my mother has. Besides, I'm not alone because upstairs there's a treasure hunter who is looking after us when my father died in the mines after it was caved in. The treasure hunter Cedric took me here because he read about the rock of life being here somewhere and the book says there's a spider which is one of the guardians of the ancient city" said the young girl.

I nodded and I turn around and walked up the spiral stair case to the 2nd floor, there's a man standing next to the wall and I walked to him "the names Cedric, what brought you to this ruins?" Said the man. I sighed even though I didn't want to give myself away but I had no choice. "my name is Albert rosberg of house rosberg, I was given the idol of sorrow by a mysterious cloaked stranger and told that I need to bring it back to its pedestal in order to lift the curse which has befallen my kingdom and the king and queen" I replied and the man was shocked at the mention of the idol "you're telling is that..... You intend to lift the curse by travelling deep to the ancient city even though it's full of monsters that can kill you within seconds by their hands or their magic!? That idol is said to bring about a curse to anyone who holds it!" Yelled Cedric but I nodded "although after I was given the idol of sorrow, the stranger told me to find the crystal that can bring back the dark folk" I said.

"If you intend to bring back the dark folk, you see that door over there? That door takes you to a road that leads to the ruins of a castle from which the book states that the castle was built on top of some kind of pool even though the dark folk did build a room which the pool is located and was used to make more of themselves" he said as he walks downstairs and as did I. Cedric and the young girl walked to the door which I came in but for me, I press on to the door across the hall and see the stone plaque which reads "to those who are reading this, please turn back unless thou hath brought the sacred idol and the sacred crystal that will make more of us then press on to the holy forest".

I walked to the door behind the plaque and opened it, I was outside and see a forest of big trees and an old stone road which was nearly overgrown with grass so I followed the road until I see a castle at the horizon but to my right there was a clearance where there's a spring that glowed yellow with a tree in it. I walked to the clearance and to my left there's a stone door in the hill that might leads to the ancient city but I had to continue walking the road that leads to the castle itself, then I see a river with a stone bridge but at the other side of the river there's the castle nearby so I took the bridge but at the middle of the bridge there's a tree monster called a log demon which is where a demon possesses an old log and warps it into a body but luckily it's flammable but I'm not gifted in magic like the noble houses.

I prepared my sword and swing it but the log demon dodged my attack and used air magic called wind cutter but I gritted my teeth as the wind cutter gave me a gash so after few blows of my sword the log demon falls before disappearing, I made across the bridge but I was bleeding so I picked the medicinal herbs and eating them thus causing my wound to close and heal. It was getting dark out so I lay on the ground hoping that I won't get attacked while I was sleeping.
