The Switch-Up

Connect8 and Connect9 were at a restaurant. When everyone (except Alex) ordered a meal, Holly became obsessive.

Holly: (angrily) "Why aren't you ordering your meal?"

Alex: "I'm not hungry."

Holly: "Well, you better damn well eat or (explicit threat)!"

While Holly continued her insults, everyone (except Alex) text-messaged each other.

The message said:

ALEX'S GON' BLO'!

The Connect couples noticed that Alex was clenching his teeth. He couldn't take any more of Holly's crap.

Alex: (yelling) "HOLLY, WE'RE FINISHED!!!"

The 8 and 9 weren't surprised that he blew up. But she was in shock.

Holly: (shocked) "What did you say?"

Alex: (angrily) "I said that were finished."

Holly: (voice breaking) "So, you're dumping me?"

Holly looked like she was about to cry.

Alex: "That's exactly what I said."

With that, she ran off, sobbing. As C8 and C9 ran after her, Jerrod gave a wink to Sarah. The wink was to signal that it was time for her to make a move on Alex.

So she grabbed a chair.

Sarah: "Can I eat your appetizer?"

He didn't answer.

After a few minutes, Sarah spoke up.

Sarah: "You know, there's someone that really did care about you."

Alex: (flatly) "Who's that?"

"Me," UTurn's Amanda Hillel said all of a sudden. She just, like, literally appeared in thin air!

Alex looked up. "Amanda? What are you doing here?"

"Duh? I'm your girlfriend?"

"Actually, I was the best kisser," Amanda's bandmate Andrew announced. Once again, these UTurn people just appear out of nowhere!

Alex stood up from his chair and said to the two UTurn members. "Get out of my story."

Andrew scoffed, "Why? You're the one reading this."

"Amanda doesn't even know that we kissed!"

"No, but she'll figure out what's going on with you if you don't tell her the truth."

"I'm not even gay in this story! I'm a fucking metrosexual!"

"But you're the one reading this story, Alex. Even Caleb in this story thought you might be gay multiple times. Hell, all the original members of Connect8 are in this story as an actual band. The Dare2Dream people are in their own band."

Alex groaned as he faced Amanda, who seemed unfazed by what's going on. Andrew added, "Watch out. Holly's about to beat the shit out of Sarah over stealing you from Holly."

Alex asked as he turned back to Andrew, "You're reading this story too?"

"Please, my Aly is making me read this train-wreak of a fanfic."

Alex stared at Andrew when he turned to see Holly pouncing Sarah and started to fight. They slapped each other, then Alex broke them up.

Holly: (angrily) "You skank! You're stealing my man!!"

Sarah: (exclaiming) "Your man? He dumped you like a brick off his back!!"

Alex: (sternly) "Stop! Sarah's right. Holly, all you ever did was complain, mock me, and insult me. It's over between us."

Just then, the Connect members arrived to their table.

Faye: "What happened?"

Sarah: "Alex and I are now a couple."

Caleb: (relived) "Oh good. Let's go clubbing."

Sarah: (smiling) "I agree. Wanna go, Alex?"

Alex looked around to see not only Amanda and Andrew were still around, but all of UTurn were there too. Then he noticed a girl whose face was covered while holding a flip-phone, like she was filming the entire scene. He needed to get out of there.

Alex: "It's better than being here."

So they all went to a posh nightclub. While they were there, Alex and Sarah started to dance together to the song Listen To Your Heart by DHT. During the song, their eyes locked, Sarah unbuttoned Alex's shirt and started to make-out.

The feel of Sarah's lips changed. He pulled away to see it was Andrew.

Alex said sternly, "Get out of my head."

Andrew said as he grabbed Alex's neck, "But I can't. I'm always in your head. I've been in your head since you saw that photo of me a year ago. And as far as I could tell, I'll always be on your mind. Now stop reading this fucked up piece of fan trash."
