12 years years later, the Ame Orphans still live in wretched conditions. Despite this, their dreams of heroism have not dimmed. In the dead of night, Yahiko walks the streets looking for people to help. As he walks, he gets pulled into an alleyway.

Yahiko: What the hell?

Yahiko readies himself for a fight, but sees that the ones who pulled him into the alleyway was Nagato and Konan.

Yahiko: Nagato? Konan? What are you guys doing here?

Nagato: We should be asking you the same thing. 

Yahiko: Well I.....

Konan: What do you think you're doing? You do know what you're doing is illegal right?

Yahiko: It's illegal to use your Quirk without a license. I don't have a Quirk to use in the first place! 

Konan: It's illegal to do hero work without a license. You could get in serious trouble doing this! Not to mention that you could seriously hurt yourself!

Yahiko: It's not like we're going to UA anytime soon! You two could! I hate the idea of waiting for the Pro Heroes to come in and save the day while people like us have to just stand by and do nothing!

Nagato: There's nothing we can do about that.

Yahiko: And what if we could? What if we could help people without having to wait for Pro Heroes to come swoop in and save the day? We can be heroes! We can help people when Pro Heroes are nowhere to be seen!

Nagato and Konan were moved by their friend's words. But they knew that what Yahiko wanted to do was illegal in the eyes of the society they lived in. Even with that in mind, they had their dreams of being heroes. So they decided on a compromise.

Nagato: How about this? We'll help you patrol. If you're so adamant on doing this, at least have some backup. Especially with you being Quirkless.

Yahiko: I'm fine with that! How about you Konan?

Konan: I guess. Just don't run into a fight. We don't want to get into any trouble.

Yahiko: Sure! 

With that compromise reached, the three orphans go on patrol. As they do so, nothing happens. 

Yahiko: Did you hear about the Phantom?

Konan: You mean the vigilante?

Yahiko: Yeah! Wonder if we might run into him tonight?

Nagato: We're just going on patrol. If we find anything, we'll deal with it. If the Phantom get's involved, we leave. We don't want to get in the way.

Konan: I heard the Phantom fights with blinding speed. With Red eyes too.

Yahiko: Must be some kind of occular Quirk. Maybe like your Rinnegan?

Nagato: Must be. 

As they continue to patrol, they hear whooshing sounds.

Yahiko: What was that? 

Konan: I don't know. 

Soon after that, Yahiko looks around to see a figure wearing a red trench coat and a red hat standing on a rooftop.

Yahiko: Guys! Look!

The other orphans turn to where Yahiko pointed, but saw nothing. They were unsettled by that fact. When they turned on an alleyway, the figure Yahiko saw earlier soon was right in front of them. The orphans are left stunned by the sudden appearance.

Strange Figure: Greetings.

Yahiko: You're the guy I saw on the roof! The one watching us!

Strange Figure: How observant. My name is Alucard. How do you do?

Alucard bowed as the three orphans were caught off guard by his kindness. Despite the apparent kindness, something was off about this figure.

Konan: What do you want?

Alucard: I sense that you three are aspiring heroes. I can help you become better heroes.

Nagato: What do you mean?

Alucard: I'm part of what you would call a Hero Agency. I'm here to....scout out the talent. That's why I'm here.

Yahiko: What kinda Hero Agency? You mean you're willing top help us become heroes? 

Alucard: Yes. I am under orders from my master to seek out Heroes for our agency. But you must earn your place. We don't just accept anyone. 

The three orphans thought about Alucard's offer. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to become heroes. 

Yahiko: Sure! How do we earn a place?

Alucard: Simple. Fight me.

Alucard then pulls out his .454 Casull pistol and the Jackal pistol and relishes in the fight to come. 

Alucard: I hope you make this interesting! 

And with that sinister smile, Alucard teleported away from the orphans. The orphans readied themselves for battle. Suddenly, Alucard ambushed the three and began attacking them. Konan used her Paper Quirk to form a Spear and launches it at Alucard. The Spear pierces his chest, but is unaffected by it. 

Alucard: A well place shot!

Nagato then uses the Asura Path of his Rinnegan Quirk to form a cannon in his arm and shoots at Alucard, but he zips around. He then looks at Yahiko with glowing red eyes, causing Yahiko to be paralyzed. 

Yahiko: What kinda Quirk is this...

Alucard: My "Quirk" is Vampire. 

Alucard preapres to bite down on Yahiko's neck, but Nagato charges at Alucard and uses the Naraka Path of his Rinnegan Quirk to suck some of Alucard's vitality. This attack causes him to release his grip on Yahiko.

Alucard: That was impressive. 

Konan: Yahiko! Get clear!

Yahiko rolls out of the way as a wall of paper begins to surround Alucard. She nods Nagato as he uses the Deva Path to use the Almighty Push to send Alucard flying through the wall. They hear Alucard laughing as the cuts from all the attacks begin to heal.

Alucard: Hehehehehehe. That was impressive. I think you all earned a place in the agency. Even you Yahiko! 

Hearing that gave the three orphans a sense of ecstasy as they were given the opportunity to become the heroes they desperately wanted to be.

Alucard: Follow me. You'll meet our....director. She'll see if you are fit. But as far as I know, welcome to the Hellsing Organization! 

They followed the vampire to the hideout of the Hellsing Organization where they would meet the leader.
