So I'm doing a thirty day chicken challenge made by Ilovemychickens (who you should totally go follow.)

The first question is, how long have you had your chickens and do you still have any of your original birds? If so, how many and who are they?

I have had chooks for 9 years, almost 10. We built the chook pen when we moved into our current house. I don't remember our original chooks but I know that we don't have any of them left. And we named them all after members of the kids show, "hi five". Our oldest chook is Nugget, I'm not sure exactly how old she is, maybe four or five? She rarely lays and is visibly old.
