Music Is Life

Peter smiled. He couldn't help it. Tony would walk into the conference at any minute. Peter was so excited, he had to stop himself from giggling at the thought of what might happen. He let out a small snicker that didn't go unnoticed, and some of the reporters turned to look at the kid. Some were surprised to see a kid, but others were more curious about what was so funny. They soon found out.

Tony had been trying all day to make it stop. He had tried overriding it by putting in his personal protocols, but FRIDAY just said each one was overridden. Tony tried earplugs, he tried leaving the tower and going to his personal house. He even tried going into FRIDAY'S coding. He just couldn't stop it.

At first, he thought it was just part of his classic 80s rock playlist. He had been jamming out to Fade to Black by Metallica, so he didn't think much of the song that started playing. He wasn't really paying attention as he worked on the new Stark phone, but was confused when he heard the booming sounds of Black Sabbath scream, "I am Iron Man!" He didn't mind. The sound fed into his ego, but it started to bother him after the third time it played. That's when he tried his protocols.

Ever since that time he has been followed by the song.

Tony knew Peter had done it. Peter was going through his "rebellious" teenager faze. Peter was too good of a kid to get a tattoo or something crazy like that, but Peter had done a lot of other stuff including making a radio station (satellite too) that only quoted vines. It was just nonstop vines and the only commercials were Flex Tape, Flex Seal, Reddit, Tumblr, and those strange Instagram adds that said, "If you get past level 10, you are legally skilled."

Tony just let the kid have it.

Tony was pulling his hair out as he changed into his tux. He threw on some random tie and some of his tinted glasses before trying one more time to turn off the music before the conference.

He failed unsurprisingly, so he just gave up and walked to the conference.

The interns on the lower floor ignored their boss's music choice and continued on with their work. Some did complain about the volume, but Tony had no control over that either. So they were stuck with a cranky billionaire and loud rock music.

They didn't have to deal with the awful combination for long since Tony stormed out of there as soon as he gave up typing some code on the computer. The interns just ignored the fiasco. They had seen much worse things.

Like the time Steve yeeted, Peter across the lab and the Personal Intern Fell out the opposite window.

Also the time Tony was yeeted with Peter on his lap by Steve and both of them fell out the already broken window.

The door to the conference room was flung open and loud rock music flooded into the room live a tsunami on innocent bystanders. Some reporters covered their ears while others just nodded their head to the deafening music.

No one heard the teen snicker in the seat behind all of them.

Tony ignored the music and walked over to the front of the stage, ignoring the protests of everyone in the front row. The music was deafening. The music covered the full on laughter that was errupting from Peter.

One person noticed, and that was Tony. He wasn't happy and reached into his pocket.

Tony Stank: I swesr to gOd if you dont turn down this god forsaken music so help me you will be grounded for a month!

Tony Stank: understood?

Mad Lad: lol

Tony Stank: dont lol me

Mad Lad: lolol

Tony Stank: *le gasp*

Mad Lad: dude that's such an old men get your act together

Tony Stank: I would if you would turn down the flipping music!

Mad Lad: I'm only doing this for the memes

Peter sighed and swiped out of Messages+ and scrolled over to the Data Pack. It was just an app he used to open up Friday's code. He sifted through the maze of code and found what he was looking for.

He worked quickly, deleting sections and rewriting pieces. It was difficult to break into Friday, since she was an AI and had an extremely advanced security system that would rebuild and fix any code tampered with. That doesn't even mention that she simotaniously targets the intruding threat to exterminate.

Peter used this to his advantage when implanting his bug. He deleted a strand of code that was used to verify the section he had then altered. This was a not so important chunk, the built in Spotify section.

However this effort was wasted when his changes were fixed. He forgot that Friday rebuilt the verifier and that that still read the old line of code. However, changing the code in the verifier was not an option since that would just be changed with it's own verifier.

The next best option would be to alter the leading verifier, but there was none. Tony had created a kind of loop, using code Peter couldn't understand.

So how was Peter supposed to hack it?

The same way Ned did.

By going past the software and deep into hard drive.

Tony was going insane. He couldn't stand listening to this song any longer. The music had been too loud for too long, the same song had been playing for five hours straight, and he wanted some sleep.

However, that was difficult since he had blaring rock music screaming into his ear. He couldn't stand the music anymore. For as long as Tony could remember, Black Sabbath had been his favorite band and Iron Man his favorite song, long before he was an actual Iron Man.

But there was always too much of a good thing.

Tony gave up and went on a search for the cause of his misery. Peter Parker was so dead when Tony found him. Peter would be stuck with pay back for however long Tony's misery lasted, but doubled, since Tony was an adult and could do whatever he wanted.

Tony searched all of the places likely for Peter. He made deals with other Avengers (Clint would search the vents in exchange for no one cleaning them for 5 months, Natasha would talk to Clint and make sure he actually searched the vents in exchange for her vents getting cleaned) and went to the intern floors. He had earplugs in along with head phones, the only sign that the music was still playing was the vibrating floor boards.

He got different workers in the lower levels to point him in the direction Peter was likely to be. The bouncing around from floor to floor, intern to intern, was frustrating, until he found himself in the most secure part of the building, Friday's main drive.

Not many people knew it even existed, that's how under wraps this thing was. It was hidden, and guarded with some of the most intense security in the world. It required dozens of passwords, verifications, keys and scanners to get into. Tony got through after ten minutes of typing, scanning, swiping and curses.

He found Peter hanging from the ceiling, plucking wires from bundles and plugging in numerous things. The music had stopped though, since there were no speakers in here.

"What the he||!"

Peter never broke his intense stare, likely having never processed his mentor's presence. He pulled wires selected a fat red one. He plugged it into his computer that was resting on another bunch of wires.

From there he typed on his computer, yelling at it before taking a deep breath and trying again. He pulled out a package of Scooby snacks from his pocket and ate a few while working.

After two minutes of intense typing, Peter cheered throwing a fist in the air Breakfast Club style. That's when he turned around to acknowledge Tony.

"Fixed it!"

Tony just sighed and walked away, concerned that a bug Peter had planted in Friday was so complex that he had to go into Friday's hardware just to remove it.

Tony just walked back to his room, relieved to finally have some peace and quiet.

Peter woke the next morning to a catchy song playing. He normally wouldn't have minded the song if it weren't for the fact he knew why it was playing.

It was Tony getting revenge. And Peter had to go to school with this song playing the entire time.

He groaned, walking into the kitchen where he found Tony drinking coffee with a smug grin on his face. Peter just ignored the genius and walked away, trying to figure out how he would get through the day with a cartoon song playing.

It was worse when he got to school, since Tony had tapped into the school's speaker and played it where ever he went.

Tony just went through his day singing, "Spiderman, Spiderman..."
