A/N: this was inspired by @late_to_the_party 's irondad fanfic. It is the one where they are at Walmart, so just wanted to give a shout-out since this was inspired by them. Anyways, enjoy!

Peter was hyped. He had recently become good friends with with Ant-Man/ Scott Lang and his daughter Cassie. This is how Peter first met the little girl.

It started when both super heroes realized their names were both bugs (well, spiders were archnids but Peter didn't want to ruin his friend's excitement) and made a thing called "Bug Buddy Bash." It basically happened once a month where they would just go around and do crazy stuff. Once, Peter pretended to fly by having Scott hold him when he was small. I know, crazy.

This day had rolled around and it was a Thursday, one of the worst days off the week. Peter didn't mind though, because before Flash could give him a verbal beating, he was out and waiting for Scott. He waited a few minutes and was sad when he wasn't there. Scott was always on time. Maybe something came up? Was there a battle or something? He was nervous about missing something important, when a white van pulled up and Scott came out. A small brown haired girl also appeared, and Peter recognized her as Cassie.

"So your my Dad's friend," she told me matter-of-factly. She placed her hands on her hips and peered. I shifted nervously under her gaze and looked to Scott for help. He shrugged.

"Let's go," he replied breaking the silence. People were looking at Peter weirdly by now, since he was normally gone the second the bell rang. And that a little six year old girl made him nervous.

The three of them walked over to the van, and Peter went into the shot gun seat.

"Why does he get to sit there?" Cassie asked not very nicely.

"Because he is a super hero and you're not." Peter looked over at his bug friend nervously, the words, "Does she know?" dancing clearly in his eyes.

"Kinda," the adult replied out loud. Cassie just raised an eyebrow. They were going back to Scott's house. Peter determined this by the path they were taking. "So the plan," Scott began saying in a secret agent tone, "is to find the artifact as quickly as possible and retrieve it before Maximo finds out." Peter gave the father a questioning look that was returned with an eye roll.

"Yes sir!" The brunette replied excitedly. She was bouncing in her car seat. They pulled up to the small house. Scott told his daughter to gather their gadgets and intel and meet him infront of the house. She bobbed her head and rushed out as soon as the car stopped.

Scott unbuckled and look at his lost friend with a smile. "Cassie and I do these really awesome 'missions'. It started when I was under house arrest and made really elaborate forts and slides out of card board for her when she visited. You will be Maximo. Basically just wait outside the big tent, and when you hear us scream, jump into the tunnel and chase us. Not to fast though spider boy. Got it?"

The father didn't wait for a reply and instead went inside to meet up with his daughter.

Peter went into the backyard instead of following, and climbed up the wall and into the office. It wasn't really an office anymore, but more of a debreifing room. It was black, and there was a small area behind the card board hologram. Peter thought about his options, and decided to hide there instead of go to the tunnel like he was instructed to. He sent Antenigo Montoya to go do the chasing instead.

His mission was a go.

After what felt like thirty minutes and was actually an hour, he heard people walk into the room.

"We have the artifact Sir!" He heard Cassie exclaim.

"Good work agent," he heard Scott say in a deeper voice, "place it on the pedestal."

Peter smiled. When he sensed the item on the pedestal, he crawled along the ceiling, and grabbed it. Cassie screamed and looked up. Peter had put on a fake mustache, and spoke in an awful German accent. "You foolz," he spoke. He dropped from the ceiling, stroking his Hitler stache, "you zought I would give up on you with Antinigo Montoya. You underestimate me! I now have ze artifact, and you can do nothing about it." He then did an evil person laugh.

"Give it Maximo!" Cassie yelled, getting into an attack position.

"Zees is what I have been after my entire life. I will not give it up easil-" he jumped onto the ceiling just as Cassie tried to kick his crotch. "Foolz. I am more powerful with ze artifact. You can't stop me!"

The chase was on. Peter jumped from the window and rolled when he hit the ground. Cassie was out the door and running into the backyard, arriving almost as quickly. She chased him around. He didn't go slow for her either. He made it interesting. He would corner himself so that she felt like she had done it, and not do the same thing anyone else would have done. So they ran like this, and Scott joined in. Soon Peter was cornered and forced to give up the old pizza slice that was being used as the artifact.

"You win zees time, but I will be back!"

He crawled up the side of the house and "disappeared", before returning mustache less.

"Ew," he said, pinching his nose, "why are you holding two year old pizza slice?"

"Wanna try some?" Scott asked, holding it out for Peter.

"Thor no. Keep it."

"That was awesome Peter! You have my respect." The little girl replied. She looked him square on the eyes and nodded her head once.

"I have no idea what you mean!" He exclaimed before returning the head bob.

The rest of the Bug Buddy Ball was more of a day for Peter and Cassie. The three went to the store. They looked around, and when Peter came across the milk, he yelled,"HE NEED SOME MILK." The little girl smiled. She went to the toy section and found a little baby doll. She then proceeded to yell. "GIVE ME YOUR EFFING MONEY!" Peter simply replied by saying, "law and order." Scott gave his bug bud a disapproving look, but that didn't stop them from throwing around soda cans, re creating baby vines with Cassie, and so much more. Peter would have to get Shuri over to meet Cassie, but that will be saved for a different book.  *Cough* The Science Buddies my other book *Cough*
