Irondad and Spiderson
Peter had nothing else to do. He had gone on patrol, and waited for a solid thirty minutes, and nothing happened. This was rare, but refreshing. Aunt May wasn't home, Ned was out of town for the weekend, and he was bored. He had already watched all his favorite vines a dozen times, and reviewed the newest memes. He had no idea. What was he going to do? He was browsing through some news articles about his favorite Avenger, Iron Man, when something popped up on the side.
The picture was obvious clickbait, but the title still pulled him in. Tony Stark's Secret Son. The teen was intrigued by the title, and clicked. He expected it to be something stupid, but he was shocked when he saw photos of Spiderman climbing into building windows and even one of Spiderman during the most recent battle of New York when he save the wizard before disappearing into the massive space donut. Fun times.
After reading the article, it got him thinking. So he opened a new browser and searched Tony Stark Son. A few different articles came up including the one he had just read, but something else caught his eye. What most of the links were, didn't come from news pages, but a different site. Like any curious person would have done, he clicked.
A web page came up with an orange header reading Wattpad. It was telling him to make an account, so he obliged. Spiderman, Spooderman, Spidey, and other variations of Spider Man had already popped up, and using his name was something he didn't feel comfortable with. So he instead decided to go by, ISurvivedNYCNotSpace. He was surprised the long username fit, and entered it. He then found himself bombarded with stories.
He scrolled through what seemed to be an endless sea of stories, all based around the same topic. Spiderman is Iron Man's Son. He later found out that this 'genre' referred to themselves as IronDad. He looked through them and was shocked by what he found.
Many were short stories, avoiding his name, or creating random ones. They based around the secret superhero being Tony Stark's adopted son, to biological connections. He was thrilled, and found many great writers such as @WandaMaximoff24 @MarlinandDean and @shewritesall. Many of the writers were extremely talented, and wrote very thought out short stories, but he also found some involving the young kid living with all of the Avengers.
He skimmed through one called Survivor, by @Kitten8442, and decided to add the book, and the sequel, to his reading list. He found tons of incredible books, including some that he wished would happen in real life. It seemed to be widely accepted throughout this fandom that the secret identity of the masked hero was a teenager, based off of audio recordings and body proportions. They also decided that this kid should have a bully. And oh boy did they demolish him.
They called him Lars from Mars (I am a reference Machine) in most books, but called him other things such as Pine Tree and 3D Waffle (IDK ok?). He loved them. One he absolutely loved were [Peter Parker's] Field Trip One Shots. So many others he found, and read them all day. In Fact, even on his stay at Avengers tower, he sat on the ceiling reading fics. He loved them, and soon became a fan of all the Fluff.
One day, he found a book that every different short story, they used a different name of who they thought the vigilante could be, and when the young teen saw his name, Peter Parker, appear on the screen, he fell from the ceiling after choking on air. FRIDAY asked if he was ok, but he was too busy coughing to respond. In response, FRIDAY sent Tony Stark into the teen's room.
What he found was hysterical. A teen, half on the wall half off, a laptop laid with an IronDad fanfic open, as he coughed on air. Tony couldn't help but smile. He hadn't noticed the topic of the book the kid was reading, until he picked up the laptop.
He stood still. The kid was eaten these. He was reading fan theories about himself being the son of Tony Stark. Tony smiled, and walked over to the dazzled kid.He seemed to be nervous now that he had recovered, and Stark figured out why,
"Ya' know," they billionaire said as he sat down next to Peter. He was sitting cross legged on the ground now. "I read a few of these too."
"Really?" The teen was intrigued. Did he enjoy them? Did he think of Peter as a son?
"Yep, and I gotta say, some of these people are really talented."
"I know right! I found so many good stories that I absolutely loved!" The kid smiled at his mentor, all nerves vanishing as he talked on and on about the stories he had read.
"Wanna read some together?"
The kid looked at Tony Stark wistfully. The Tony Stark. Billionaire, playboy, genius, philanthropist and Iron Man, wanted to read fanfictions about himself and a fifteen year old kid being related. Peter was over the moon. Not literally. He never wanted to pass the moon again. Too many bad memories. "Of course!" He mentally slapped himself for being so happy, but his smile only brightened when he saw his mentor's face.
They then proceeded to read fanfictions for the next hour and a half. They laughed, and even cried a bit during the entire thing, but in the end, they had bonded. They truly were like Father and Son.
A/N: Sorry this chapter was short. I just remember commenting on a story, and seeing how many people just wanted this to happen, so I took it upon myself to write this. If you are coming from the comment, welcome! If not, idk. All the books and usernames I mentioned (minus Peter's user idk if it exists) are real people and stories! I recommend all of them in case you are looking for good quality IronDad/Peter Parker fics! I hope you stick around this book, and enjoy theirs too! I am also sleep deprived and tired, but can't sleep. That is another reason this chapter is so short. Anyways, toodles!
