*confliction intensifies* (uno)

Peter was having a normal day. He went to school. He was bullied by Flash. He hung out with Ned. He aced a test. It was normal. He had Spanish last. He liked thinking he was decent at it. The teacher always spoke rapid fire Spanish, but he was pretty good at understanding what he said.

"Te amo con todo mi corazón. Por favor come tacos conmigo. No tiene la misma textura sin ti," Senoir Ritterling said as he wrote the phrases on the board, "What is wrong with this?"

No one raised their hand since they were busy copying or flipping through their note book. Peter was doing neither. He had suddenly gotten a really bad stomach cramp and couldn't focus.

"Senior Parker? Are you paying attention?" Peter's eyes refocused on the board as his head snapped back to the phrase he had zoned out on.

"Uh yes. Si si. Uuuuuh..." His voice trailed as a drop of sweat distracted him. It slowly rolled down the side of his head. His stomach was getting unbearable. He was also getting antsy, which wasn't helping calm him. "Senior. Ritterling, I don't- I don't feel so good."

Peter suddenly had flash backs. He shut them out as his teacher asked him something.

"Sorry what?" Their was a ringing in the teen's ear now.

"What's wrong?"

Peter couldn't focus, he barely got out the words, "Down." Before tackling the person next to him down. A few seconds later, the windows blasted in. Screams followed shortly after.

Peter rolled over the glass, wincing at a small piece on his side. He looked for it, pulled it out, and stood up. The teacher had fallen flat on the ground, but was soon back up and trying to usher the kids out of the classroom. Peter looked to the person next to him and helped the dude up. He then went on helping the other students up.

One girl had a large piece of glass in her shoulder. She winced when it was pulled out, and let's just say, she wouldn't wear that shirt again. They used a piece of it as a make shift band aide, applying pressure to try reducing the amount of blood loss. Sure it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but she didn't think she'd be able to stand with a 6 inch piece of glass sticking out of her shoulder.

Peter did everything he could do to help. He helped a dude who was on the football team up and let him lean on Peter. They all got out to the field in one piece... Ish

He sat on the bleachers with other hurt people and tried to help out as much as possible. He bandaged wounds and when all the wounds were sealed, he comforted people. No one died, thank Stan Lee (he is the god of marvel after all).

A few classes were still coming out, and the police along with the ambulance were already on the scene. They were all acting weird though.

Peter was the only one to pick up on it, since he was the only one who dealt with the police on a regular basis. They were acting too, robotic.

Peter spun around on his bleacher seat and looked back at the school. His stomach was hurting again and his hair was standing up on his arm.

That's when he saw her.

The African lady standing on the roof of the school in a tiger print dress. She wore a necklace and bracelets that looked to be made out of bone, and her hair looked like she just walked out of the world's most humid sauna. Her eyes were glassy, but she seemed aware of Peter.

Suddenly the officers stopped. They all froze. Then they all began walking over to the lady. Some entered the school, others stood at the entrances like soldiers.

The lady cackled.

"Where are you spider?"

Her voice was rich. It was captivating. It seemed like it could tell people to do anything she wants them to do. Suddenly she was looking at Peter. Her mouth didn't move except into a smirk as some words worked their way into the teen's head.

There you are.

._.

MJ was freaking out. MJ wasn't one to 'freak out', but this was problematic. She had just found Peter, but he wasn't responding.

She tried talking.

"What's up loser?"

Nothing.

She tried ignoring.

Nothing.

She tried the middle finger.

Not even a flinch.

She also couldn't find Ned, so she would have to worry for both of them. She was doing a pretty good job at it too. She was going full on Ned.

"Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my-"

"MJ! You really need to get over here now! Peter! You too!"

MJ tried pulling Peter, but she knew that he was stronger. He didn't budge.

"MJ! This isn't a joke!"

MJ choked out, "I know Sir!" She tugged on Peter's arm but he wouldn't move. She nearly started crying.

All the teachers were screaming at her to come over and Peter just wouldn't move. She couldn't lose him again. She just couldn't.

She just kept whispering Peter over and over again.

"Your timing is impeccable," she muttered under her breath. "Right after an anxiety attack you decide to do the same thing that gave me anxiety."

Suddenly there was a ringing in her ears. It was faint, the same sound an old TV makes, but it grew louder and louder. It was soon overwhelming. She dropped her arms from Peter's side and covered her ears.

She felt something tugging at her shoulder. She could tell someone was saying something. Something was doing something. But she couldn't focus. All she could hear was this bleeding ringing in her ears. She knew something was happening. It was all disorienting. She felt like she was about to through up. She felt like she was spinning. And the ringing.

MJ just couldn't understand what was happening. It just hurt.

All she could remember was waking up with a woman's hand on her throat and her hands tied.

!v!

N

ed was lost.

He wasn't really lost, but he felt like he had no idea what was happening. It was that kind of feeling you have when you just walked out of a really good movie. Or when you just wake up. It's that feeling like you don't understand what's happening.

Ned had felt that only a few times. He felt it when his sister was born.

He felt it when he found out Peter was Spiderman.

And he felt it when Peter both died (and his sister), and came back from the dead.

He also felt it now, as he wandered through the sea of students not understanding what was going on. He knew he had to be somewhere, but where? He wasn't sure. He just wandered around, thinking two words. Peter. MJ.

He heard yelling and people crying. He just kept wandering until he was at an opening. It was like breathing. He then realized where he was.

There was a line of teachers all on the end line of the football field. He wasn't sure if it was a coincidence or not.

None were focused on him. They were a yelling at something.

He turned to look.

Not something.

Someone.

He saw MJ tugging at Peter's arm looking like she was about to cry. Ned didn't find this strange, since MJ has been pretty sensitive after the Thanos thing.

Ned started walking over.

He had found them and now he wanted them.

Not in a creepy way, but he needed them. They had been through so much together. They were like siblings. They needed each other. Each person was essential.

MJ was the person who kept Peter from doing dangerous stuff.

Peter got MJ to be more social.

Ned kept the two from fighting.

Peter got someone to geek out with.

MJ got someone to complain to about Peter.

It was a circle. They needed one another.

Ned continued walking over to MJ. At this point she had stopped pulling on Peter's shoulder and just let her hands rest next to him.

Ned was also being yelled at to get away from the building, but as he just went over, he needed them right now. He subconsciously noticed all the injured people had been taken to the nearby hospital or moved away from their school.

He continued over in the same daze he was in before but this time, with a bit of determination. He walked slowly. He wasn't running because he was in a daze. But he was power walking.

He kept his eyes on his two friends as he made his way over, so it didn't go by unnoticed when MJ put her hands over her ears and started opening and closing her mouth.

Ned was at the foot of the bleachers at this point and was jogging up the steps. He reached MJ and heard a faint scream come from her mouth.

He went over to her, bumping into Peter and nearly falling down the bleachers from how stiff he was. Ned reached down to shake MJ and he yelled her name. She disappeared before he could touch her though, and Peter had risen.

Ned knew something was wrong with the superhero teen before he saw the grim expression on his best friend's face. Peter never stood up like that. He also said something to Ned after snapping out of one of his trances.

That's why Ned didn't turn to his friend when Peter tapped Ned on the shoulder.

He didn't see to see the empty brown eyes to know to run.
