Hey guys. I hope you like the drawing of Ami since this is what they look like in drawing.

Here is also Ami but with their mask off. For this chapter, I'm gonna use they/them pronouns for Ami. In each chapter, Ami's pronouns will change like in this one will be they/them, in the next one will be she/her and so on so forth. I'll let you all know in the beginning of each chapter what Ami's pronouns are so you won't get confused. Hope you like this chapter.

" wha-where...?" Said Ami. They looked around the circus thinking where everyone else is. " h-hello? Ragatha? Zooble? Gangle? Kinger?"

They called out for their friends as they are walking around the circus.

" wait wha-?!" They looked at their left arm to find that it's already been abstracted. " wha?! No!! I couldn't abstract now! Not yet!" They shouted as they ran around the circus as their right eye has also began to abstract but the floor tilted leaving Ami to fall and get sucked into a deep black hole.

They looked up and saw Caine and their friends looking down on Ami as they began to abstract.

" seems like Ami's giving up already" said Caine.

" Ami really got their head in crazy mode" said Ragatha.

" don't even remember their name" said Jax.

Ami just looked up with their eyes wide open panicking.

'No... this isn't how I... go...' thought Ami.

" AAH!!!" Ami jolted as they fell off the bed onto their floor.

" wha...?" Ami looked around and saw that it's their room. They looked at their left arm as well as put her right hand on her right eye and it's still the robot arm and the robot eye mask.
" thank God it's just a dream"

Ami got up and walked out of her room closing it and going to the main room where Zooble, Gangle, Jax, Kinger and Caine were there.

" morning" said Ami.

" morning to you" said Zooble.

" hi!" Beamed Gangle as she waved at Ami and they waved back.

" good to see that you didn't fully abstract yet Ami" said Kinger.

" yeah but had a dream about it. Almost gave me a heart attack" said Ami.

" good keeping dreaming about that. Maybe it'll happen for real" said Jax as he grinned.

" #%*^ off Jax" said Ami as they flipped him off but their finger got censored.

" sheesh no need to be the ice royalty here" said Jax.

Ami just sighed since Jax's insult isn't anything new to her for as long as they knew him. Ami decided to look around first before talking to Zooble.

" hey you got new parts?" Said Ami.

" oh? Yeah got some time to at least try a new style since well, I'm a mix and match kind of toy you know. You got your parts all oiled up? No rust?" Said Zooble.

" yeah and no rust" said Ami.

" good, we don't want what happened last time" said Zooble.

Ami simply awkwardly chuckled as they remembered what happened.

It was during one of the adventures that Ami forgot to oil her robot limbs and because of that, they have trouble moving around which caused both Ragatha and Zooble to carry Ami. Since then, Ami remembers to oil her gears up at least once a week to avoid having their body moving ridge and to avoid getting rust.

" ever since then I keep up to date with my oils" said Ami.

" you know, for someone like you, your kinda heavy but I'm guessing it's the metal" said Zooble.

" pretty sure it's the metal since I'm a robot" said Ami.

Caine appeared on the stage as Ragatha and Pomni joined them.

" todays adventure is candy carrier chaos. That's right! The candy canyon kingdoms been robbed of their most valuable resource" Caine clicked his fingers together as Bubble float next to him with his tongue out showing a bottle of maple syrup " maple syrup! It's up to you to bring the rotten bandits who stole it to sweet buttery justice"

" an entire kingdom of candy? Sounds sticky" said Bubble.

" very sticky indeed" said Caine.

" sounds *******************************" said Bubble.

" bubble you can't say that" said Caine.

" hmmm nope" said Zooble as they turned around and walked away.

" Zobble wait! I-I'm testing out a new AI in this one! It should be 57 times more immersive" said Caine as Zooble stopped walking.

" more like 57 times of trying a new way to be boring" said Ami sarcastically.

" ooh a new AI. You don't want to mess with the new AI Zoobie?" Said Jax as he nudged at Zooble.

" uh, yeah no" said Zooble as they walked away.

Ami rolled her eyes at Jax's comment as they walked to Ragatha, Pomni and Gangle.

" so our entire existence is just larping?" Said Pomni.

" well... you can say that we're avatars in a video game doing quest but yeah, just imagine we're heroes or fixers" said Ami to Pomni.

" oh... I see" said Pomni.

" w-what are you all just standing there?! The, the candy kingdoms needs you now!" Said Caine who appeared next to them. He clicked his fingers as a portal opened next to Gangle and he shoved the group in as the portal closes.

The gang was on a carriage with a some what gummy elephant pulling them on a chocolate stick.

Ami looks around as everything seems to be just... candy.

Like there's bubble gums up at the sky, the mountains are macaroons, trees are lollipops, rocks are ice cream and even the carriage seems to be made out of wafers and candy cane.

Soon, they enter the candy castle as the wafer gate lower down to welcome them in as confetti flew and npc mannequins were there inside clapping for them.

Everyone was cheering as the carriage took them around to the castle.

Ragatha was enjoying this as she waved at the npc.

Ami just sat there wondering how long the adventure is going to take.

'I wanna go back to the circus... should've stayed with Zooble' thought Ami.

Soon, the carriage came to a stop as everyone hopped off onto the candy ground.

They all walked towards the arc chocolate to reach the inner castle.

' huh... not bad' thought Ami as they keep walking.

" Look! It's the princess!!" Shouted one of the npc as it accidentally pushed Gangle as her comedy mask fell off and broke.

Ami saw this as they walked to Gangle helping her pick up her comedy mask while patting her on the back.

" it's ok. We'll fix it soon" reassured Ami.

Horns blew as the princess appeared. Ami looked up as she saw the candy princess.

' she looks like Princess Bubble gum from adventure time but with short hair' thought Ami.

" ah, you must be the brave knights sent to us by God" said the princess as she pointed up at the coloured window with Caine's picture on it. " to help us with our recent catastrophe"

" that's us ma'am" said Ragatha. " your kingdoms awesome by the way. Love the vibe" said Ragatha.

The princess giggled at the compliment.

" I like you already" said the princess.

By this time Pomni stood next to Ragatha on her left side while Ami stood next to her on the right.

" look Pomni. We're already friends with the princess" said Ragatha.

" I'm not a child. You don't have to hype me up" said Pomni.

" well at least the whole world is made of candy right Ami?" Said Ragatha.

" Rags I'm 23 years old you're making me feel like I'm 3" said Ami with her eyes half lidded.

The princess walked down the steps towards them.

" I assume you've been informed of your mission. The bandits that robbed us used a modded syrup tanker so we figured the best way to go head to head with them is to give you a war rig of your own" said the princess.

They heard a truck engine rumbling as the npc's moved away as a large candy truck drove towards them.

" ooh violence" said Jax.

" what time period is this supposed to be again?" Said Pomni.

" time is useless here Pom so don't think too much about it" said Ami.

" here's the key back into the kingdom for when you've secured the goods. I trust you not to let it fall into the wrong hands?" Said the princess handing the pink candy cane key to Ragatha.

" you can count on me your highness" said Ragatha bowing to her.

" oh please. Call me Loo"

" will do Loo" said Ragatha.

" I call shotgun" said Jax as he rushed in the truck sitting at the drivers seat.

" I'm sitting at the roof so no one disturb me" said Ami as they flew to the roof of the truck and planted themselves there.

Everyone then got on the truck as Loo waved them goodbye.

" farewell good knights. I have every faith in you" she said.

The trucks engine revs as Gangle starts driving out of the kingdom and to the place where the bandits are.

" hey Ami, since your up there, can you spot if there's any bandits around?" Said Gangle shyly.

Ami sighed not wanting to do the adventure but decided to play along for the sake of Gangle asking since her mask was broken and since it's the least they can do.

" alright..." said Ami as they stood up with their right hand on their forehead shading their eyes from the sun.

They looked around but something caught Ami's eye in front of them.

There was a truck with three gummy crocodiles wearing cowboy hats. One of them was wearing a blue scarf on his neck and the other was wearing a brown vest as they ran to the truck and started driving.

" there! There's the truck and bandits!" Shouted Ami to Gangle.

After a minute, Ami jumped back as they saw Pomni being thrown out of the truck.

" what the- Pomni?!" Said Ami surprised.

They looked to the right side of the truck and saw Pomni hanging each of her hands to both of the truck and acted as a bridge.

" what...?"

" ah that's perfect! Just hold that pose. I gotta get something" said Jax as he popped up and went back into the truck.

" JAX YOU #%*^" said Pomni.

" Jax did you do this?!" Said Ami. " what the +*%^ is wrong with you?!" Jax simply ignored Ami and Pomni and just kept looking into the truck.

" you know I swear there was some kind of bazooka back here but *scoff* I'm having such trouble finding it" said Jax as Ami just glared at him and looked back at Pomni worried about her.

" POMNI TAKE THIS!" Shouted Kinger as he popes up next to Jax and threw a stripped floaty connected with a rope at her but it just bounced off her head.

" here it is" said Jax and he took out the bazooka. " all right Pomni, just stay like that and I'll cross over you"

" are you kidding me?!" Said Pomni.

" Jax she can barely hold onto the truck and I'm pretty sure you weight like a +*^%+*^ elephant!" Shouted Ami.

" ah!" Shouted Pomni as her left hand let go of the truck and landed on the bandits truck roof.

" Pomni!" Shouted Ami as they quickly flew to Pomni's side and helped her.

" nice going Pomni, now I have no bridge" said Jax. Ami return him by flipping him off but was censured.

" ah hah!" Shouted one of the bandits and he popped up to the roof. " gotcha"

Ami panicked not knowing what to do. Her left robot arm is holding onto Pomni to avoid her from flying away while her right arm was holding onto the truck making a dent to avoid her from falling off.

" my arms aren't long enough-whoa!" Shouted the bandits as he fell off since he was hit by a brown boot.

Ami looked around trying to get both Pomni and themselves off the truck before Ami realised the truck turned and they started to hit a rocky road with them just bouncing around trying to hold on.

" h-ho-hold o-o-on P-Po-m-n-i!" Said Ami shakily as they felt their robot parts and gears clicking together due to the rocky road.

" t-try-ing!" Said Pomni.

Ami and Pomni were holding onto the truck for their dear lives before they felt a crash as they realised their truck was ramming to the bandits truck that they are on.

" aah!!" Shouted both Ami and Pomni as they felt their hands losing their grip.

They held onto the truck more as Pomni finally turned to them.

" are you guys trying to +*^%+*^ kill me?!" Shouted Pomni.

" wha-?!"said Ami before looking at the sides and saw that the truck as green spikes as their eyes widen.

" aww no more ramming? Guess I have to tell Ragatha about the thing now" said Jax as he popped up on the roof of the truck.

" what?!" Said Gangle as her head popped out of the window.

" oh? You're still up here" said one of the gummy crocodile that was thrown off but is now at the end of the truck on the roof.

" guuuuys?" Said Pomni.

" Guys can get your £&!7 together and £&!?/%# help us!!" Shouted Ami.

Kinger popped next to Jax now with an anchor.

" Pomni, Ami take this!" He shouted as he threw the anchor to them but they ducked down avoiding to get hit.

Ami looked around trying to find something to help both Pomni and themselves to get off the truck.

Ami suddenly felt the truck being pushed and saw that the rope that was attached to the anchor is pulling the truck to the bandits truck as they are currently on the edge of the cliff.

Ami groaned pulling themselves on the roof trying to get a balance as the truck was turning around.

Ami's eyes widen as they saw their truck being thrown off the cliff and into the pit.

But the truck their on is currently spinning around with them and Pomni hanging onto the roof of the truck as it crashed to the rocky walls but glitched as Ami, Pomni and one of the crocodiles fell off.

" aaah!" They shouted.

Ami felt themselves crash as their eyes open and saw the room being dark and meshed blue lines around the walls and checkered floors. Ami groaned as they pushed themselves up and brushed off some dust off their clothes.

" ugh. That's the last time I'm on a vehicle. Pomni?" Said Ami as they looked around. " Pomni?"

They started walking as they saw Pomni crash onto the floor.

" Pomni!" Ami shouted as they ran towards her and crouched down to her level. " you ok?"

Pomni groaned as she got up.

" I'm fine... huh?" Said Pomni as she looked around.

" where are we? W-what's all this?" Said the crocodile a few meter away from them.

" I- I don't know" said Pomni as she turned to Ami trying to get some answers.

" maybe we're somewhere under the map... I think since we fell off the truck" said Ami.

" map?" Said the crocodile as he turned at the side of the room. There were several npc and characters there such as the princess, the mannequins, the crocodiles crew and a giant fudge monster standing there still. " why aren't either you or any of your crew up here?"

" um... I'm not sure" said Pomni.

" maybe it's because we're not... npcs...?" Said Ami

" npcs? What are you on about? What are you people? What am I? Where's mum?" Said the crocodile confused and sad.

" y-you have a mom?" Said Pomni.

" shouldn't she be here with everyone else? I can't even remember her face. Did she ever have a face? Was anything ever real?" Said the crocodile.

" ok hold on. Don't think about that right now. Let's just focus on the big problem here" said Ami as they looked at the truck. " there has to be a way to shoot our selves back up"

Ami looked back and saw the crocodile hyperventilating.

Pomni and Ami looked around before the crocodile spoke up.

" I want you to tell me exactly what I am" said the crocodile.

Ami and Pomni looked at each other before facing the crocodile as they told him everything they know.

After telling him everything, Pomni and Ami looked around and grabbed whatever stuff they find to at least find something to launch them back up.

" hey croc face! Wanna try helping us out or what?!" Shouted Ami to the crocodile.

Ami saw him with a sad face as he realised everything was fake and none of it was real.

Pomni decided to go walk up to the crocodile.

" hey... you ok...?" Said Pomni.

" no"

" you wanna talk about it?"

" what is there to talk about?"

" I don't just want to leave you here" said Pomni walking closer to the crocodile.

" why not? I don't matter in the slightest. I'm nothing" said the crocodile as he took off his hat. " my life, my memories, my friends. It's all fake"

Pomni and Ami sat next to the crocodile as Ami pat him on the back.

" this may seem weird but I think I know the feeling. Well maybe not the exact feeling but feeling like your nothing is kind of normal" said Pomni. " I mean people even feel like that in the world I came from. But you still care about your buddies up there don't you? I'm sure they still care about you"

" what does it matter? What do we have when you people leave? We're just obstacles created to be defeated and forgotten" said the crocodile.

" well... you don't have to be. The circus the place I'm from, well, I'm originally from somewhere else but if it has to be my home maybe it can be yours too. The people there are interesting at the very least. Maybe you could be somebody real there"

" why are you trying to cheer me up? How does this benefit both of you at all?" Said the crocodile.

" I guess... having you feel like nothing makes me feel like nothing. I don't remember anything before I got into this game and... I felt really lonely and scared and I just... I wanna go back. But I can't. So well... I just decided to play along and maybe... one day... I can get back home" said Ami " it hurts feeling nothing, but it hurts more to see others feel like nothing"

" but I'm not even a real person. Would I even belong?"

" I'm sure you wouldn't belong any less than me and... I could use a friend" said Pomni.

" a friend. Your both strange little character" said the crocodile picking himself up and putting on his hat " I supposed I could give it a try. All I ask if that we don't tell the lads about this. They're a couple of bright eyed yobbos and I don't want to drag em down with me"

" you got yourself a deal croc" said Ami.

" what's your name by the way" said Pomni.

" Gummigoo"

" that's just as about dumb as my name" said Pomni.

" I'm just gonna call you croc" said Ami. Ami's just happy that they chose their name on their own and not from the machine Caine used for Pomni.

" what's you have in mind in terms of getting us out of here?"

" I don't really know" said Ami.

" yeah me neither" said Pomni.

" but I saw that there was some kind of glitch with the trucks collisions so I'm guessing, we can use those blocks there to create the same" said Ami pointing at the three cubes at the corner of the room. Pomni, Ami and Gummigoo lined the cubes under the truck as they got on with Ami at the drivers seat. " ok just to be clear, I have no idea if this will work or not but... I just hope it does"

Ami started the trucks engine as they waited for something to happen.

" I just realised this may be a bit cra-" before Ami could finish that sentence, the truck shot up at the sky as they flew higher and higher.

They went passed some blue tea pots as Pomni and Gummigoo smiled as they held on.

' I wonder how's Ragatha and everyone else is going?' Thought Ami.

They saw the candy sky and they felt the truck descending and suddenly crashing onto a pile of fudge.

Gummigoo, Pomni and Ami got out of the truck landing onto the pile of fudge.

The first thing Pomni did was vomit onto the fudge as Ami followed by before taking off their mask and vomiting next to the truck.

" hah couldn't keep it in could-" said Gummigoo before he vomited as well.

" uh... what is this?" Said Ami as they looked at their hands seeing the brown chocolate covered fudge.

Ami groaned and saw Ragatha running to Pomni worried.

" Pomni! Ami! Are you both ok?! What happened?!" Said Ragatha.

" yeah I'm fine. Just shot ourselves out of... well a cave? And here we are" said Ami as they put their mask back on and walked away from the mess and onto the roof of their truck.

But Ami saw Jax at the far end crouched down with a sour face.

" I'm so unbelievably disappointed right now" said Jax.

" aw what's wrong bunny boy Not the adventure you were looking for?" Taunted Ami to Jax as they float above him using their wings.

" well maybe there'll be blood, death and violence in the next adventure" said Ragatha next to him.

" ha ha ha ha ha how wholesome and you, shit the £&%# up robot" said Jax as he flipped Ami off but is censored.

Ami was just satisfied with the reaction they got from Jax as they flew away and landed on the roof of their truck.

After a while, they arrived at the kingdom and all the npc's cheers and clapped.

" thanks to you brave knights our kingdom will once again thrive. I'm sure it was no easy task" said Loo.

" you have no idea" said Jax still bitter about the adventure.

" let's just go back" said Ami.

The portal appeared next to the princess.

" farewell brave knights. Have fun executing that bandit fella" said Loo as the crew walked towards the portal.

" yes that is what we're doing" said Pomni.

They stopped as they heard some sounds from the gates of the kingdom.

" oh hey! Maybe I didn't leave the gate unlocked for nothing after all" said Jax as he grinned.

" what? I thought he was dead!" Said Ragatha.

" huh? Who's dead?" Said Ami.

" it's the fudge monster and the truck you drove crushed" said Gangle.

" huh?! Monster?!" Said Ami.

" you did what now?" Said Loo.

" well love to help you again sometime bye?" Shouted Jax as he ran to the portal and everyone else did too.

Ami's eyes just twitched but simply decided it was a problem out of their control and just walked away.

They saw Zooble walking towards them as they nodded.

" sheesh I thought he'd never leave" said Zooble.

" believe me Zooble, I thought he was gonna keep croc there"

" why?"

" well... let's just say Pomni needs a friend right now and well, croc is just gone" said Ami.

" oh... sorry about that"

" you got everything ready?"

" yeah. We can start now. I'll let everyone else know" said Zooble as they walked to the group.

" hey Pom, you wanna join us for Kaufmo's funeral? It's something we do when someone here abstracted. To just pay them respect and show that we care about them. But since you arrived on the day he got abstracted, we had no choice but to push around for a bit until we can get the time" said Ami.

" yeah it is" said Ragatha.

" it's the least we can do to honour their memory" said Kinger.

The group gathered at the red curtains as a yellow box with a bouquet of white roses were at the side with Kaufmo's picture on the box at the centre as everyone gathered around except for Jax to say a few words in honour of Kaufmo.

Ragatha was the first to go as she stood next to the box.

" oh man. I always think I'm prepared for these things but then you set up the picture and well... I'm already breaking" Ragatha wiped some tears from her eye as she said some words about Kaufmo.

One by one, they each said some words about their memories of him. Gangle was next as she shared an art piece made by her showing the drawing of her and Kaufmo laughing, Kinger is next as he said some words about Kaufmo. Ami was next as they placed a black stripped green party hat on the box as they said a few words. Zooble as next as they said some words.

In those moments, Ami remembered their dream. On how they fell in the black void as they were ready to give up.

Even though they have been here longer, Ami had some doubts that people here would forget about them even after all the funerals, Ami thought people would just think of them as some memory.

Even after all that, Ami still accepted the fact they are stuck there and the people there are now their friends and the circus is there new home.

Ami looked to Pomni next to them as Pomni gave a sad smile and Ami just gave her a thumbs up reassuring Pomni she isn't alone.
