the past, and the future

A.N. there is a lot in this one, I'm sorry, there are also many lemons and mis formatted things

The next morning.

Shadow Woke up excited for three reasons, this was the day he could get his stitches removed, Terra gets tested, and he's also going to show her and Hades his anamorphic. Shadow gently nuzzled Terra awake. "Hey hun." Shadow said. Terra grumbled and rolled over onto her back. "Don't mean to wake you from such peaceful sleep but as you know today is an important day." Shadow said. “Yeah, Yeah, I know,” Terra rolled again and landed on her paws on the floor, grabbed a towel and left the room. Shadow followed. "By the way Terra there is something I want to show you and Hades." Shadow said. “Can it wait until after the shower?” Terra asked. "Of course." Shadow said. “Thanks,” Terra said, jumping into the shower, “you care to join me?” She asked Shadow. "Sure," Shadow said. Terra pulled him into the shower with her, almost falling in the process. Shadow just chuckled at that and kissed her. Terra kissed back, grabbing the shampoo. "I love you, Terra." Shadow said. “I love you too, hon,” Terra said, beginning to lather the shampoo into his fur. "That's a new feeling." Shadow chuckled, feeling the soap. Terra chuckled and rubbed his legs, “to think, this is your first time here.” "Yeah, I usually just lick myself clean." Shadow said. “Okay, question, do you know what gets in your fur?” Terra asked, doing his tail. "Usually dirt and liquids, and practically anything else." Shadow said. “You licking your fur is basically you licking dirt, I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to do that,” Terra said, moving up to his torso. "Well you're basically doing the same thing with grooming because usually that's just to straighten out your fur, which is literally just licking your fur straight." Shadow told her, enjoying this feeling, "plus in the wild you have no choice, hell mothers usually do that with their kits." Terra hugged Shadow and whispered to him, “but this isn’t the wild, now is it?” "Nope." Shadow said, kissing her. Terra kissed back and lathered his ears. When she finished lathering him up he grabbed the soap and did the same for her. “So it’s today, isn’t it?” Terra asked as Shadow got her back fluff. "That you get tested? Yeah." Shadow said, continuing. Terra sighed when he got to his ears, “That feels good~” she said. "Good." Shadow said, continuing still. When he finished, Terra pushed Shadow under the water stream. He watched as the soap fell out of his fur, at least a single sud got in his eye, causing it to sting, and causing him to close it tightly. “Should’ve told you to close your eyes, sorry hon,” Terra said apologetically. "It's fine, mind wiping it for me?" Shadow asked. Terra put a paw to his eye and gently rubbed it, stepping under the stream herself and rinsing off. Shadow opened his eye, "thanks," He said. Terra just kissed him. Shadow kissed back, "I also get to have my stitches removed today." Shadow said. “Stitches?” Terra asked, worried. "Did I ever show you my scar?" Shadow asked, "That was actually relatively fresh, I ran into Alita after escaping the lab with a deep gash on my side that is that scar, she brought me to this one place where I got stitches." He then removed the illusion that covered up his scar. “Oh, yeah, the scar, that is… I’m sorry, with the ilusion, I had completely forgotten about it,” Terra said. "No need to apologize sweetheart." Shadow told her. Terra hugged him and turned the shower off. “I love you, but our impurities make us who we are,” She whispered to him. "And they only make me love you more." Shadow said, kissing her. She, obviously, had to kiss back, so she did. "So what's the cloth for? Can't you just dry us off with electricity?" Shadow asked. “I don’t know about you, but I don’t have infinite PP for that move,” Terra said, shaking herself to get most of the moisture off. "Be careful who you're splashin' there." Shadow laughed then did the same. “Sorry about that,” Terra said, laughing a little. "Quite alright." Shadow then used the towel to dry both of them off the rest of the way. Terra grabbed her brush and began to brush herself. "What's that?" Shadow said as he began to groom himself. “A brush, it pretty much replaces the tongue in the grooming process,” Terra said. "Meh, tongue is more effective because the fur sticks to it." Shadow said, returning to grooming himself, "Only downside is you can't groom your head with your tongue, and you can't even use your paw for the back of your neck, and you can get fur on your tongue." He continued as he licked the bottom of his paw and stroked his head with it, repeatedly doing that till the fur on his head was straightened out. “Meh, I prefer this way,” Terra said. "Okay." Shadow said, kissing her cheek. Terra kissed back, “I love you.” "I love you two hun. I suppose now is a good time to show you and Hades what I wanted to show you." Shadow said. “Hm? Oh, did your anamorphic finally make contact with you?” Terra asked. "Indeed I have" Sylvia said, appearing. “That’s good, but you may want to keep it from your father, he doesn’t want you to have it, I told him I would take her if you both agree to it, but otherwise I won't touch her,” Terra said. "I'll see how things work out." Shadow said, "I've spent 25 years trying to make contact, I'm not leaving that easily." Sylvia said. "I know, I know, calm down, I said 'if' for a reason," Terra said. "Yeah we know." Shadow and Sylvia said in unison. Then laughed. Terra shook her head at them, "I remember the first month of having Hades, was very eventful, to say the least." "Who?" Sylvia asked. “Look behind you, ma’am,” Terra said. Sylvia turned around to a vaporeon with colorings to match hers, blacks and dark reds. "You're... big." Sylvia said simply. “Thank you,” Hades said, “I’m Hades, and you are?” "Sylvia." Sylvia replied. “Nice to meet you Sylvia, to what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you?” He asked. Terra looked at Hades, confused. "Pleasure's all yours." She said, reaching her paw out to shake. Hades shook it. “I have a question for you, do you prefer this form, or did he pick it?” Hades asked. "Both." Sylvia said. “Ah, see, i like this form, but it is the one she chose for me,” Hades said, pointing to Terra, then he went to his arcerial form, “I prefer this one though, but thought it would be too much for the first meeting,” He finished, returning to the vaporeon. "You showed up to me in that form when we first met." Shadow said. “So I forget every once in a while, it doesn’t hurt you in any way, does it?” Hades asked, voice level "uhuh." Shadow said not believing he forgot. “Y’know, I’ll go step outside of the room, okay?” Terra said rhetorically and left, obviously afraid of something. Shadow followed her. "What are you afraid of?" Shadow asked. “I’ve never seen him this way… I don’t know what he’s going to do…” Terra said, sitting with her back against the wall. "Well he's acting nice so what's he going to do, pretend to be nice then try to scare the hell out of her?" Shadow asked rhetorically. “I don’t know what he’s doing or why,” Terra said. "Oh. Maybe he likes her?" Shadow suggested. “I don’t know,” Terra said. "Imagine that being possible." Shadow laughed. Terra didn’t laugh, she just looked at Shadow. "Don't worry, Sylvia's an anamorphic, he can't do anything bad to her." Shadow said. Terra still didn’t say anything, just had a fearful look in her eyes. Shadow held her to comfort her. "She'll be fine." Shadow said, kissing her. “I hope so,” Terra said, looking back to the floor. "Come on, let's go to Alita." Shadow said, helping her up. Terra followed, trying to regain her composure. Shadow let her lean against him to comfort her as he brought her to Alita. "We're ready." He told Alita. “Good timing too, I was just about to get you guys,” Alita said. "I'm a bit nervous about you know…" Shadow paused and pointed at his scar with his tail. “I know, Shadow, you two aren’t the only ones getting things done to you,” Alita replied, opening the door for the two of them. The trio left the house. About forty something minutes of scenery and chatting about nothing in particular, they reached the doctor’s office. “Okay, you guys go sit, I’ll get us checked in, okay?” Alita asked. "Okay." Shadow said, going to a bench. "Huh this place looks and smells different from that other building I was brought to when I first met Alita." Shadow said. “She probably took you to the ER,” Terra said. "What's that?" Shadow asked. “It stands for Emergency Room, but it is a collection of rooms in it,” Terra explained. "Okay? And what is this building called?" Shadow asked. “It's the same building, just a different part of it,” Terra continued, “every once in a while you can hear sirens of leaving and coming ambulances.” "No I meant what this building is called, like the type of building, you know, like that 'store' we went to, and how there are houses, etcetera." Shadow said. “It’s called a Pokecenter, but it’s not just that. Pokecenters work solely on pokemon, but this place works on any who need it. This place’s real name is Wellman’s Hospital," Terra explained. "What's a hospital?" Shadow asked. “I forget that you don’t know these things, a hospital is a medical center,” Terra said, watching Alita come sit next to them. "Yeah like I believe I said before, I know I'd steal books from stupid trainers back in the wild but only books that were purely about this world's history and ancient history, though I found a book purely on berries that was interesting, I know what berry each type favors, like the one electric types favor is a Belue berry, for example." Shadow said. “I didn’t know that, interesting, I’ll need to try one." Terra said. "Though they are rare, we grew Rowap berries where I lived. I really liked them so that pretty much proved that part." Shadow said. “Huh, who knew." Terra said. "I hope my parents brought a seed with them." Shadow said. “You know there is a berry shop in town, right?” Terra asked. "A what now?" Shadow asked. “A berry shop, they sell berries, okay?” Terra asked. "Okay." Shadow said, "and I'm out of conversation, I was using conversation, from genuine questions of course, to distract me from my nerves." Shadow said, leaning into Terra. Terra kissed him. Shadow kissed back. “I love you, no matter what happens, okay?” Terra asked. "Same here, just nervous about the whole stitches thing." Shadow said. “Yeah, I know all about that feeling." Terra told him. "Please, I don't want you to have to go through those memories again, it's all in the past, so let's just… forget." Shadow said, giving her ear a small lick. Terra nipped at the tip of his ear. "Hmmm." Shadow hummed in comfort, purring. Lying down and closing his eyes, obviously relaxing. "I'm a bit nervous about the whole stitches thing…" Shadow told Alita. “You aren’t the only thing getting something removed…” Alita said. "Why what happened to you?" Shadow asked. “You don’t need to know,” Alita said. Shadow nodded in understanding as he curled up into Terra. “Alita, Terra, Shadow?” A lady called, opening a door, “please come with me.” "Come on hun." Shadow said, getting up as he kissed Terra. Alita stood and walked over to the lady, Shadow and Terra followed side by side. “Hi, I’m doctor Garcia and I’ll be helping you guys today, so,” She looked at the clipboard, “Terra here needs a pregnancy test, Shadow needs decaying stitches removed, and…” Garcia trailed off. Shadow just stood against Terra, nervous as hell. “Please don’t mention it, I don’t want to talk about it,” Alita said, Garcia just nodded. Shadow, growing impatient pawed at Garcia. “Sorry about that, Shadow, right?” Garcia asked. Shadow nodded. “And I’m guessing Terra here is your mate?" Garcia asked. Shadow nodded, gently kissing Terra on the cheek. “Don't worry about her, I’m going to take her into another room to test her, okay?” Garcia asked, crouching down. Shadow nodded. “Alita, comfort him if he starts to get concerned, come on Terra, i’m going to check if you are pregnant, okay?” Garcia asked. Terra followed Garcia out of the room. I am worried the results may come out negative, I mean I hope not but there is always a chance. Shadow thought. “I hope it is positive, no matter how much I was against it in the beginning,” Alita said. Shadow told her his recent thoughts he just had after hearing that. “You and me both, Shadow, you and me both,” Alita said, rubbing his back. Shadow began to purr as she did this. I like how being pet always relieves tension. He thought as he relaxed. After a bit of waiting Shadow heard the doors open and suddenly lifted his head, wagging his tail in hope. “So… it’s positive,” Garcia said, allowing Terra to enter, who promptly ran and hugged Shadow. Shadow hugged back and kissed her. “Now why don’t we get those stitches out?" Garcia asked. Shadow let go of Terra and sighed, shivering out of nervousness. "Welp see you soon." Shadow said and went with Garcia to a room and lied on the bed in the room. “Now, this will sting a little bit when I pull them out, okay?” Garcia asked, grabbing tweezers and a small blade. Shadow nodded. Making sure he stayed relaxed, instead of tensing up, to make it easier. Garcia cut the stitches one by one till all six of them were ready to be pulled, “nasty wound it was, but it healed nicely,” Garcia said, “ready for them to be pulled out?” Shadow nodded, as nervous as he was, he ensured he was relaxed. “Okay, this will sting, but only for a second,” Garcia said, pulling the first out. Shadow grunted in pain but stayed relaxed, he was using thoughts of Terra in order to do this. “Five more, Shadow, do it for Terra,” Garcia said, pulling another out. Shadow paid no attention to the pain or anything around him anymore, closing his eyes. Garcia pulled the others out, then set a rowap berry next to him, “you did well, come on, let’s head back,” Garcia said, lifting him off the bed and putting him on the ground. Shadow ate the Rowap Berry then went out. Garcia led him back out to the room. Shadow, obviously, went over to and hugged Terra. “Now, Alita, unfortunately, the specialist you need is out for the day, I don’t mean any inconvenience,” Garcia told Alita. “Oh, you are quite fine, I just needed to set an appointment for it,” Alita told her, “Thank you, Garcia, was it?” Garcia nodded, “if you ever need our help again, you know where to find us.”  Shadow was obviously concerned about Alita, he looked at her with a concerned look. “Not for you, Shadow, no matter how much you are curious,” Alita said, leading them out of the hospital. Shadow was somehow tired from today. How am I tired? I haven't done much today. He asked himself as he walked beside Terra. Alita’s shadow fled for a minute, then returned as they returned home, Terra didn’t seem to notice. Shadow barely noticed, for he noticed it was gone but returned when he looked and thought his eyes were just messing with him. Shadow instantly went to his room and lied down, leaving the door open for Terra. Terra entered and asked, “Are you okay?” "Yeah, just tired for some reason." Shadow said. “That isn’t as odd as you may think, I hear umbre are supposed to be nocturnal, and it is the middle of the day,” Terra said. "Huh." Shadow said, "from what I was told, according to humans 'with our black fur, we blend into the darkness. We bides our time, and attacks prey when it appears' assuming this is done in the night considering the term 'darkness' is there though never been much of a hunter, hated killing things, would only do it if there wasn't food for miles and 'prey' was the only thing around and I were starving." Shadow explained. “Yeah, I get what you mean,” Terra said, laying next to him. "Though most eeveelutions are supposed to be predators, eevee is not, interestingly enough." Shadow said, wrapping his legs around her, "What's funny is as an eevee I was practically nocturnal as it was." “That is, okay, to be fair, I was too until Alita, while I was nocturnal, I didn’t call Arceus, I called to one named Luna, I don’t know who or what they are, it just, was,” Terra said, shrugging. "Okay? Well all I care about right now is 1. You, and 2. Rest." Shadow said as he kissed her then dozed off. Terra kissed him as well and laid her head on her paws, then drifted into the sleep realm. Sylvia took this as the perfect time to kind of explore his room a little, so she appeared to do so. Those two are a cute couple, I wonder what that's like. She thought as she looked around. She saw the vaporeon standing over the couple, not completely, but an outline. "Hey Hades." Sylvia said, smiling at him, gaining a slight tint in her cheeks. The outline faded and he appeared next to her. “Hello there, Sylvia,” Hades said, smiling to her. "How're you?" She asked. “I’m well, you?” Hades asked. "Doing perfectly." Sylvia said. “That’s good,” Hades said. "Same goes for you." Sylvia said. “So what have you been up to?” Hades asked. "All I can really do, reading Shadow's mind, looking at his past, etcetera." Sylvia said, “though it hurts to feel like I've already been forgotten about." “have you set your bastion yet?” Hades asked. "My what?" Sylvia asked. “Hold on,” Hades said, disappearing. She fealt even worse when he vanished, lowering her head. Hades reappeared holding something, “sorry about that, you didn’t miss me, did you?” He asked. Sylvia just hugged him, "sorry if this is awkward for you, I just feel a bit out of place at the moment." She said letting go and blushing out of embarrassment. “You’re fine, you are new to this whole thing, I completely understand,” Hades said, Blushing himself. "Anyways, what are you holding?" Sylvia asked. Hades showed the thing he was holding to her, it was a clear sphere with a draconian symbol in it, “take it, it will allow you to travel to my bastion,” He explained. "How do I-" Sylvia was cut off as she was teleported there.

Hades’ bastion…

Hades’ form formed next to her in the small house, “it may be small, but it’s all I need,” he said, “sorry for bringing you so suddenly, when the emblem turns orange, it is like an invite to this place, you can either accept or reject the invite, all you have to do is say then it will flash red or green, then darken to black.” Sylvia planted a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you for looking out for me." She said, Hades froze, not knowing what to do. “Y-yeah, o-of course,” He stuttered. "You okay? You're redder than a non-fire type pokemon who had a raw tomato for the first time." Sylvia said. Long analogy but perfect description. Sylvia thought to herself. “It doesn’t help that you kissed me,” Hades said. "Mind you it was only on the cheek." Sylvia told him. “Still, no one but Terra has ever done that to me,” He responded. "Huh, well I mean, how often do you make an appearance to others? And how kind are you to others? Doesn't really matter, I'm just curious, partially because according to Shadow's memories aka according to Terra, you acted differently with me, which brings me to my third question, why is that?" Sylvia asked. “One, fairly often; two, I may not be the kindest, but I'm not the worst; and third, well, I’d rather not say why at the moment,” Hades said. "Why not? You got some kind of crush on me or something?" Sylvia asked, practically whispering in his ear. Hades stepped away from her. "If you don't answer then that automatically means yes." Sylvia told him, "because that's just practically you being shy to answer in which case under the circumstances I will not get into because it'll be a waste of time, would cause it to mean yes." Hades said nothing. "So that is a yes, well, tell you what, I kind of like you too so we'll see how things work out, I mean we've got nothing to lose right?" Sylvia asked. Hades still didn’t say anything, just rubbed his front right paw against his front left leg. "Hello? Are you deaf? Or can you not speak all of a sudden?" Sylvia asked, trying not to sound rude or cold. “It’s neither of those, it’s just, well, you,” Hades explained, “and what you are suggesting.” "What about it? Am I wrong?" Sylvia asked. “Okay, this is new to me, so I don’t know what or how to do,” Hades said. Sylvia just very suddenly and unexpectedly kissed him. "Does that answer your query?" She asked, blushing. Hades processed that for a second then kissed her back. "Did I ever mention you're very hot?" Sylvia complimented. “If I am, it is less than you, by a lot,” Hades said, kissing her again. Sylvia kissed back. "Not true." She said, lying down and pulled him down with her and hugged him with her ribbons, "that's one reason why I love this form, the ribbon-like feelers are quite useful." Sylvia said. The house blurred around them and they appeared on a bed, “Much more comfortable," Hades said. "Mhm." Sylvia replied, petting his back, back of his neck and his side with her ribbons while she hugged him with her legs. Hades hugged back and kissed her passionately. Sylvia kissed back. “I love you,” Hades said. "I love you too." Sylvia told him. Hades squeezed her a little and relaxed. "Hmmm…" Sylvia hummed in comfort, closing her eyes. Hades let her attempt to fall asleep, while it’s possible, it isn’t necessary. She stopped rubbing him and hugged him tighter, also relaxing. Hades steadied his breathing and kissed her. Sylvia kissed back. "I love you." She said. “I’ve said it before, I'll say it for the rest of my life, however long that may be, I love you too,” Hades said, placing a paw on her chest. She put her head against his chest, hearing his heartbeat. Hades stroked her. Sylvia purred at that. Hades smiled and purred as well. Sylvia felt like this was too good to be true but enjoyed that it was happening as she returned to petting him with her ribbons. Hades trailed a claw close to her spine, dangerously close. Sylvia shivered a little at first but still purred at that. Hades retracted the claw and turned to liquid, then got her from above, “mine,” He said, hugging her. "Right back at you love." Sylvia said. “Such as it is, I feel Terra waking, unfortunately, we can continue our adventures another time,” Hades said, pulling both of them out of the bastion.

Outside the bastion...

"Okay." Sylvia said then kissed him. "So, should they know or…?" She asked. “Not yet,” Hades replied. "In that case I'll see you soon." She said and faded. See you soon, my love Hades thought. Terra yawned, waking up slowly. She found Shadow hugging her tightly, no signs of planning on letting go anytime soon. "Hmm...Terra…" Shadow mumbled in his sleep. “That’s cute,” Terra whispered, not knowing Hades was there. “Indeed,” Hades said. Terra stopped herself from jumping, “maybe a little warning next time?” She asked. “Okay, okay.” Hades said, not even saying anything to be the guy like ‘you can’t tell me what to do. This set Terra off, and she had a feeling it had to do with a certain anamorphic, “I won’t ask what you did with her, I’m sure nothing bad, but still,” She said. Shadow woke from the talking. "Afternoon sweetie." Shadow said, nuzzling Terra. “Good afternoon to you as well, I didn’t mean to wake you if I did,” Terra said. "You're fine hun." Shadow said, kissing her. Terra kissed back as Hades faded. "I love you, more than anything." Shadow said. “Not more than me, to you,” Terra said. "I could say the same." Shadow said. Terra shut him up with a kiss. Shadow kissed back. "I can't wait for them." Shadow said, rubbing her stomach. “You think I want to, if I could bring them safely to this world any faster, believe me, I would,” Terra said. "Yeah…" Shadow said, kissing her. Terra returned the kiss, “I seriously can’t wait.” "Oh well, I guess a month isn't so far away. But at the same time it kind of is.” Shadow said. “It isn’t in the grand scheme of things, but when you are waiting for something, it is forever, yes,” Terra said. "Indeed." Shadow said. Terra rubbed his back with her paw.  Shadow purred and did the same with her. Terra sighed, loving the feeling she got from it, her tongue flopped out and she was enjoying it. Shadow took advantage of this and pulled her into a deep makeout, wandering her mouth with his tongue. Terra’s tongue played with his as Terra moaned in pleasure. "Mmm…" Shadow hummed. Terra pulled back and nipped at his sweet spot. This caused him to become aroused so he attempted to turn onto his stomach. “Ah ah ah, no you don’t,” Terra said, stopping him. "Hm?" Shadow tilted his head when he looked he saw her eyes were filled with lust so he understood what she wanted so he turned onto his back. Terra began to suck his cock, “Hmm…” she hummed. "Hmmm." Shadow hummed in pleasure. Terra licked it a few times and went back to sucking it, using her tongue on it. Shadow hummed in pleasure at the warmth and the wetness of her mouth. Terra used one of her paws to play with his ball sack. Shadow started to rub her with his tail then decided to experiment and stuck his tail into her a little bit. Terra moaned as she was opened. Shadow grinned and pushed and pulled his tail in her. "You like that?~" Shadow asked slyly. “Mhm~” She moaned, going faster along his member. "Ah- I c-can feel th-the b-buildup." Shadow said, beginning to shiver a little. Terra didn’t stop bobbing her head on his cock. As she continued, Shadow reached his climax and came. “MMmm~” Terra sighed, taking it all. "God you're amazing at that.~" Shadow said, pulling his tail out of her and then pulling her over top of him, "Your turn to be on top,~" he said. “If we are doing this, then it’s in my ass, I don’t want to harm the little one,” She said, aiming his member and putting it up her ass, not giving Shadow any time to protest, “mm~” She hummed. "Ah~ fuck" Shadow moaned slightly, "I was going to say we didn't have to in that case because I didn't want to risk hurting you…" he said. Terra slid up and down on his member, “it’s a little late to say that, we can’t just stop in the middle, now can we?” She asked. "Ngh N-no." Shadow said, his head thrown back, pleasure racing through him as his tongue was lolled out. Terra laid on him and went faster on him, “mm~” she moaned. "So...tight.~~" Shadow moaned slightly. “Mhm~” Terra moaned, going just a little bit faster. Shadow pulled her into a passionate makeout "mmm~~" he hummed in absolute pleasure. Terra accepted the make out and joined him in it, letting her tongue explore his mouth again as she moaned and panted. "Ugh, I-I'm already c-coming c-close…" Shadow told her. “Good~” She replied, continuing to slide up and down his cock. After a couple more minutes he broke the kiss, "Ah~ I-I'm a-about t-to b-blow!" He warned, his voice full of ecstasy. Terra knotted herself and took his load, "AH~” She moaned. "Ah~ fuck-" Shadow reacted, his body forced his eyes shut as he came, also made him shiver a few times. After he blew his load, Terra kissed him and panted. Shadow kissed back. "That, ha- was, f- ha- fun." Shadow panted, wrapping his legs around her. Terra hugged him as well, then passed out. Shadow kissed her gently on the forehead and then went to sleep. Hades’ outline appeared over them as they slept again. Sylvia appeared. Wonder what mating is like, ah well, probably won't find out for a long time. She thought to herself. "Hello hun," She said. The outline faded as Hades formed next to her, when he fully formed, he kissed her. Sylvia kissed back. "I love you." She said. “I love you as well,” Hades said. The emblem in the sphere turned orange. "I accept," Sylvia said. The world faded and the bastion came into view.

Inside the bastion (again)...

Sylvia was on the bed from a while ago with Hades next to her. She did what she did before and kissed him, holding him against her body. Hades hugged her, black tentacles wrapping around the both of them as he kissed her. She kissed back, not letting up. One of Hades' paws trailed down her back, stopping right above her ass. She trailed ribbon down his chest, stopping about three quarters down his chest then returning to its previous position. Hades pulled away, “so you want this?” He asked. "Uh… Y-yeah, i-if it's o-okay w-with y-you." Sylvia said. “And why would it not be okay with me?” Hades asked, moving his paw around front to mess with her slit. She moaned lightly. "Because we just met this morning and came together earlier today." She said, as she prodded at his sheath. “I’ve known about you for a while, actually,” Hades said, his member growing as he stuck his paw in her. She rubbed his huge cock with her paw a little bit before flipping him onto his back and then spinning around and giving it a long lick. Hades groped her ass, bringing it down so he could lick her insides. Sylvia moaned as she put his cock in her mouth and began to swirl her tongue around it as she bobbed her head up and down. Hades sighed as he licked her insides and messed with the tip of her cervix. Sylvia moaned loudly as she got as far down his cock as she could, feeling it in her throat, still bobbing her head up and down. “For being as new to this as I am, you sure are good at it” He told her as he moaned a little. "Good~ and same goes for you.~," Sylvia said, going faster and faster. I wonder how it tastes. She thought. Hades went as far in as he could go, rubbing her insides with his tongue. Sylvia kept swirling her tongue around his member as she rubbed her paw around his knot. “If you keep going the way you’re going, you’re going to get a mouth full of my semen,” Hades told her, then returning to licking her. Sylvia giggled. "Good.~" She told him, continuing. Not even a minute later, Hades blew his load. She came herself and swallowed his seed. "Mmmm~~" She hummed, pulling her mouth off. Hades lapped up her cum and cleaned his face, using his tongue, “That was good~” he said to her. "We're not done yet." Sylvia said, spinning around and rolling onto her back, spreading her hind legs for him. "Lemme feel you~~" She said. “Sorry, ma’am, but if you want to feel me, you are going to have to do it yourself, I don’t want to hurt you,” Hades replied. "I don't care, I want it rough, as rough as possible." Sylvia told him. “No, I’m sorry, but I don’t want to hurt you,” Hades said. "Please?" Sylvia begged, looking at him. “I don’t want to hurt you, you’re free to jump on me, but I do not want to hurt you,” Hades said. "Fine." Sylvia said, "but next time you're thrusting into me." She climbed onto him and as soon as her slit was over his cock she slammed down as hard as she could, breaking her hymen but moaning in the process. "Mmmm~~! Oh you feel bigger than you look~~!" “I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or…” Hades said, humming. "That just makes it feel even better.~~" Sylvia said as she started to hump him, slamming down as hard as she could, causing his cock to slam into her cervix, starting off slowly as she moaned loudly. “That’s lovely, and you are beautiful,” Hades said, lightly moaning himself. "Th- Ah~ thanks." Sylvia said between moans. Sylvia slowly got faster, still moaning loudly as she kissed him, playing with his tongue. Hades played back as he knotted her and released his semen into her, “MMmm~” "MMMMM~~" she moaned, "We're definitely doing this again tomorrow~~" Sylvia told him, keeping him in her.”If you want,” Hades replied. "Of course!" Sylvia replied, then she broke the kiss and rested her head on his chest and fell asleep. Hades pulled his penis out of her and hugged her, falling asleep himself. Upon Shadow waking she was dragged out of his bastion, a note was left in place for him telling why she disappeared. When Terra woke, so did Hades. Hades read the note and left the bastion, appearing in the real world once more.

Reality...

"Morning beautiful." Shadow said to Terra. Sylvia also appeared in reality. “Morning to you too,” Terra said, watching Hades hug Sylvia. Sylvia hugged back and looked at peace. Terra whispered to Shadow, “is that normal for her?” She asked. "Dunno, haven't talked much since we first met, by much I mean at all." Shadow said. “Odd, but okay, to be honest, since Hades met Sylvia, he hasn’t been responding either,” Terra whispered. "Well they're hugging right now, and Sylvia looks at peace, maybe they are in love." Shadow said. “Maybe,” Terra said, skeptical of it. "Whatever, nevermind them, I can smell food, dinner must be close to ready." Shadow said. Terra sniffed the air, “you’re right, let’s go.” Terra got up and left the room with Shadow. Looking around, Shadow noticed that Night wasn’t here again. Lilly hugged Shadow from behind as he sat down, “brudder!” she squeed, then hugged Terra lightly, “sis,” Lilly said. "Correction, sister in law." Shadow said. "Hey Terra, I'm beginning to get worried about Night, I hope he's not trying to starve himself." Shadow said. “Hm?” Terra looked at where he normally eats, but didn’t see him, “weird, he never misses dinner, ever,” She said. "He missed it yesterday too." Shadow said, "he was using one of those spheres so I couldn't disrupt him." “if you didn’t see him, then he wasn’t using them, so where did he go?” Terra asked. "The crystal towers glowing ALWAYS means the sphere is being used, and who's to say I didn't?" Shadow asked, "Besides he wouldn't just abandon his siblings." “I know, that is what worries me,” Terra said, taking her plate of enchiladas. Shadow also took his. "He'll come back, believe me…" Shadow said. I hope. He thought, hiding his worry. “I hope so, he meant alot to me, to all of us,” Terra said, taking a bite. "Same…" Shadow said, eating. “When he comes back, it will be of his own accord,” Terra said. "Yeah." Shadow said, continuing to eat, and like usual, being the first one done, Midnight finishing about the same time as him. Shadow went to the living room, but Midnight showed Alita a berry seed. "Mind planting this? It's a Rowap berry seed, I have a collection of berry seeds for any and every occasion if you're wondering where I got it." Midnight told her. “Yeah, sure, it’ll be awhile before they are ready to pick, as you well know,” Alita responded. He handed her the berry seed. “Wait, rowap, right?” Alita thought to him. He nodded.”tisk tisk tisk, there is a garden out back, there are rowap, pinap, and tomato growing out back,” Alita said. "I also have a Belue berry seed for his girlfriend." Midnight told her, pulling one out of thin air and handing it to her, grabbing the Rowap Berry seed and the Rowap Berry seed disappeared into thin air. “Do you know what happened last time she had one?” Alita asked, blocking the line and asking only Midnight "what?" He asked. “Let’s just say it wasn’t pretty,” Alita said. "Digestive problems?" He asked. “She puffed up like a balloon, took a month for her to return to normal,” Alita said, stabbing her plate. "Allergies?" He asked. “Doctors said otherwise, but I actually think that is what it was,” Alita said. "The second favorite for jolteon is the Wepear Berry." Midnight said, swapping the berry seed with a Wepear Berry seed. “No thanks, you keep them for your garden,” Alita replied, finishing her salad and putting her dish in the sink. "I've no use for it." Midnight said, disappearing and reforming beside her. “If you want to know, it is pinap,” Alita said, leaving the kitchen. Midnight followed. "She may like it but my son has done his research. I doubt she's tried this, also according to my son's research pinap is grass types' favorite." He told her. “Then explain why she picks pinap out of all of them in the store," Alita told him. "Simple answer, she probably hasn't tried some of the berries there." Midnight replied. “She’s tried them all,” Alita said, shooting that theory out of the air. "Well then she's a unique one then, that's for sure." Midnight told her. “We have known that since day one,” Alita told him, “this family is in no way ‘normal.’” he shrugged and lied on the couch.

With Shadow

He lied in his room, staring at the ceiling, door wide open. Terra entered the room groaning, “shouldn’t have tried to eat five enchiladas,” She said, laughing. Shadow chuckled and then sighed. "I've been worried... about a few things." Shadow said. “What’s on your mind?” Terra asked. "Well I'm worried about Night for one." Shadow said. "And though excited to be a father I'm almost nervous, like what if I screw something up? What if I accidentally hurt them, what if I cause them to hate me? What if-" Shadow was cut off. “Hon, you are going to be a wonderful father, that much I know, okay?" Terra asked. "Yeah…" Shadow got up and went over to her and kissed her. Then gently pulled her into bed with him. “Wanting to go again, I see,” Terra said, chuckling a little. "No." Shadow said softly and nibbled her ear as he hugged her, snuggling her. Terra hugged him and ran a little current through him to make his fur stand on end, then rested her head on his chest. He gently kissed the top of her head then started licking behind her ears. Terra started purring. Shadow continued to do it since she liked it. Terra began to tear up and sob. "Are you okay sweetie?" Shadow asked. “With what you are doing and the song I’m hearing, it reminds me too much of my mother,” Terra said. "What song? I'm not hearing any music." Shadow said. “It sounds like a pair of flutes…” Terra said. "You must be hearing things, I wonder what it's like, to miss someone so badly." Shadow said, hugging her tightly. “I’m actually hearing them,” Terra said, soon after there was a cry from an Ultra beast. "I'm not hearing any music or any sounds other than sounds that have existed since I came here, none being musical." Shadow said, "it's probably in your head." He suggested, "but that other sound that just came sounds bad, we should check it out." “Don’t, I know that cry," Terra said. "Yes a cry, which means a mon is hurt." Shadow said. “Lunala,” Terra whispered. "So lunala is hurt?! How?" Shadow asked, jumping up. “Sis does that every time she enters a world, she’s fine,” Terra said, getting up as well. "A cry doesn't mean 'okay' " Shadow said, not realizing she called lunala sis, "because it's a, well, cry." “it’s less of a cry but more of a yell, it’s just called a cry, for some ungodly reason,” Terra said. "Oh okay." Shadow said, lying back down, taking her with him. Terra escaped his grasp and stood again, “She’s coming with her mate," Terra said. "She's coming here? What could she possibly want with mere mortals?" Shadow asked. “She is a family friend,” Terra said, going to the bathroom and grabbing her brush. Shadow got up and followed. "So then what could she possibly have wanted with mere mortals, much less the person and mon living at this home? It's not like we're anything special, well, other than you, and my father that is." Shadow said. “I don’t know, I’ve asked her, but she won’t tell me,” Terra said, starting on his fur. "Isn't that your brush?" Shadow asked, stepping away a little. “It won't hurt to have your fur brushed once, will it?” Terra asked, pretending to be hurt. Shadow shook his head and stepped closer. Terra ran the brush through his furr a few times before they heard flapping outside and the soft crunch of grass. “They’re here,” Terra said, giddy. "I'll be in my room doing a couple things." Shadow said. “I would like you to meet them sometime tonight, okay?” Terra said, leaving behind Shadow but turning the opposite direction. Shadow went to his room to rearrange some furniture, and opened the curtain to let the moonlight in, which caused the sphere to glisten. "What she doesn't know is that I'm too nervous to really... meet them," Shadow said to himself. “Can’t you two resize yourselves?” Shadow heard Terra ask. Shadow was curious about the conversation but decided to block them out. Shadow went ahead and dusted things down, being careful not to touch the orb. There were a few flaps from outside and a shadow passed over the room as Lunala lifted off with Terra and Solgaleo. "What was that?!" Shadow asked himself and looked out his window. He saw Lunala and Solgaleo flying with Terra on Lunala's back. I wonder what it's like to fly. Shadow though, to be so… free, go wherever you want. He lied on his bed. There was a tap on Shadow’s window. A tap? Could be a tree but not really because there are no trees close enough. Shadow thought and got up to see what it was. There was a small Solgaleo looking back at him. His nerves skyrocketed and he just backed away, to anyone else it would appear that he was startled. Since when am I shy? He asked himself. “You okay?” Solgaleo asked, opening the window and sitting on the window sill. "Uh y-y-yeah." Shadow said he didn't know what to say so he bowed to the great beast. “No need for formalities, please, they get on my last nerve,” Solgaleo said, beckoning him out onto the roof. "Can't really get on the roof, the wall doesn't have any hand-holds and there aren't any nearby trees" Shadow said. “There is a ledge here,” Solgaleo told him, jumping off the sill outside and growing a bit. Shadow stepped onto the windowsill and peered his head around. Solgaleo wes next to the sill, ready to support him, “your mate and mine will not wait forever, you know,” Solgaleo said. Shadow looked for the ledge Solgaleo mentioned, sure enough, it was there, but it was small. Shadow climbed up, the moonlight reflecting off his blue rings, making them seem to glow a little. “I’ve always wanted rings like that,” Solgaleo said, “now jump on.” Shadow did as told. “Up we go,” Solgaleo said, morphing his body to be comfortable for Shadow as he ran into the sky. Shadow felt the wind rush through his fur. “It’s a nice feeling, isn’t it,” Solgaleo asked. "Yeah." Shadow said. “I remember my first time, it was after necrozma took over, me and my riders escaped to this world and seeked help,” Solgaleo said, “Lunala was that help, Alita and her team are close, but necrozma still reigns.” "So he's still around? Why not just try to defeat him? That way he can't be a problem anymore." Shadow said. “You think none have tried? Alita and her team are our best hope of restoring the light to my home,” Solgaleo said, meeting up with the others, “hey hon, hey Terra.” "I'd gladly try to help." Shadow told him. “I know, but you alone is foolish,” Solgaleo told him. “What’s going on?” Terra asked. "Did I say alone?" Shadow asked.  “No, just saying, Night, for some idiotic reason, is trying to do it on his own,” Solgaleo said. “So that is where he’s gone, now we know,” Terra said. "You lie! Last I checked only ultra beasts can open ultra wormholes NOT EVEN ANY GENETIC ENHANCEMENTS YOU CAN POSSIBLY HAVE CAN ALLOW YOU TO OPEN THEM UNLESS YOU'RE AN ULTRA BEAST And last I checked Night is a mere eevee, you can't even use tech to open an ultra wormhole." Shadow said, "the world may be advanced but it's not advanced enough for that." “You are right, but how do you suppose I know that he is trying?” Solgaleo asked Shadow. "I don't know but we all know he can't open an ultra wormhole without an ultra beast to do it for him, it's completely, entirely, one hundred percent impossible to open a wormhole without an ultra beast." Shadow said. “There are only two beasts that can purposely open wormholes, and which two are they?” Solgaleo asked. "You two." Shadow told him. “Now answer the question before that,” Solgaleo toldhim, nodding to lunala as they started to dash through the air. "I don't know. But as you admitted he has no way of getting to Necrozma." Shadow said. “No way of doing it, alone, Shadow. He asked and I obliged." Solgaleo said. "A. How do you know my name? And B. WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Shadow scolded. “A. Terra, and B. Nothing, Nacrozma doesn’t kill, just makes them faint." Solgealeo said. "And absorbs them." Shadow aid, "YOU SENT A LITTLE EEVEE TO HIS FUCKING DOOM!!! And I don't mean death." Shadow said. “Not doom, I get everyone that asks before Nacrozma has a chance to take them,” Solgaleo explained. "Okay. Let's get my dad, then deal with him, my dad can help more than any mon, he's full on shadow, so anything that tries to take control will fall to darkness and be absorbed into power for him instead, adding to the power he already has, but me it only works with spirits trying to possess me rather then other mon trying to absorb me." Shadow said. “That’s all fine and dandy, but physical shadow moves do nothing necrozma," Solgaleo explained. "Do you know what the void is? Shadows are dangerous creatures, if an evil one escapes the void it could be complete destruction of the world it escapes into." Shadow said. "They are powerful creatures, then again my father asked for at least half of his power to be taken." Shadow said. Solgaleo didn’t reply to Shadow. "And at the same time necrozma is already in darkness." Shadow said in thought, "anyone else get the feeling he wasn't always bad?" “He wasn’t always bad,” Solgaleo said, a little sadness touching his voice. "Oh… don't mean to open that wound, but it's easy to fall prey to darkness, harder to reach the light." Shadow said, "Maybe we can help? Make him good again?" “I’ve been trying, nothing seems to work." Solgaleo said. "What if we get him to the citadel?" Shadow asked. “Tried, failed,” Solgaleo said. "Oh… there must be a way, of course it won't be easy, but still." Shadow said. “I want to help him, but he doesn’t make it easy,” Solgaleo said. "With enough help you can." Shadow said. “Hopefully…” Sol said."Well I know every move that exists, hell I can combine some of them, maybe I can drain all of his energy, that should help a lot." Shadow said. "The things that seem to affect him the most are Z moves,” Solgaleo said. Lunala nodded. "Z moves? You mean the thing that requires a trainer and a ring to use?" Shadow asked, "Then Terra would be the only use here." Shadow said. “Not the only one,” Terra said. "Oh yeah you and these two." Shadow said. “Not only us, Shadow,” Lunala said. "Well Night is not only a mere eevee but also he is probably going to be knocked out by now, and Sylvia can't do much physically, and the others I don't think are that strong, well except for the ditto four." Shadow said. “You haven’t seen what Firestar can do, nor Mork and Ethan,” Terra said. "Then let's go get him." Shadow said. “Let’s wait for Night to return, okay?” Terra asked. "Didn't Solgaleo literally just say that Night is facing Necrozma on his own? Necrozma defeats then absorbs." Shadow said. “I get them out before they get absorbed, how many times must I tell you?” Sol asked. "Oh right." Shadow said. “So yeah, he’ll be fine,” Terra said. "Good." Shadow said. “More than alright,” Lunala said, accidentally saying that out loud. "What do you mean?" Shadow asked. “That eevee has more determination than I have seen in a long time,” Lunala explained. "He's not the only stubborn mon around." Shadow chuckled, pointing at himself with his tail. “I said determination, not stubbornness,” Lunala said, circling back around the mountain with Solgaleo. "Determination, stubbornness, they're practically the same thing at the core." Shadow said. “They are far from being the same, Shadow,” Solgaleo said. "Not exactly, determination is where you try to do something at any cost, stubbornness is where you won't do something without a lot of convincing, so I guess determination is the same as being stubborn but being stubborn isn't the same thing as determination, unless it's the other way around." Shadow explained. “You need a reason to be determined, mon are stubborn for no reason, but in a sense they end as the same,” Lunala said. "Yeah." Shadow said. “Terra, I have a question,” Lunala said. Terra quickly blushed “ooh, when?” Lunala asked her. “Three days,” Terra said. "So what's the question?" Shadow asked. “I asked, but not in a way you could hear, maybe one day i’ll explain to you, but that day is not today,” Lunala said.  "So what did you ask when to?" Shadow asked, confused. “Her answer, I’ve got to say I am not surprised with her answer,” Lunala said. "What did she say? What was she even talking about that's 'in a few days'?" Shadow asked. “I Meant three days ago,” Terra explained. "What was 3 days ago?" Shadow asked. “If you don't remember, that is upsetting." Terra said. "Now I'm even more confused." Shadow said. Terra sighed, “I’ll tell you when we get home,” Terra said. "Why not now?" Shadow asked. Terra looked at  him with a displeased look. "That look doesn't answer anything." Shadow said. “I would rather not start yelling at you with them around,” Terra explained, turning to look away from him. "Yell at me?! What for?" Shadow asked. “Not now, I would rather be calm for the rest of the night,” Terra said. "I'd rather not be yelled at at all," Shadow said. “For what you forgot, you will be,” Terra told him. "Okay…" Shadow said. Relaxing. "By the way, Solgaleo, has anyone told you that you're very warm?" Shadow asked. “Well I am the sun prince, or so some call me that anyway,” Solgaleo said. "Yeah…" shadow said, turning onto his back. "I love how the night sky looks." Shadow said. “Same,” Lunala and Solgaleo said in unison. Shadow relaxed and fell asleep. About thirty minutes later, they started to descend. When they landed Terra went over to wake Shadow. Shadow woke. "Hey hun" Shadow said drowsily, going to get off Solgaleo's back, only to roll off and hit the ground. "Oof" Shadow grunted. He got up, still clearly drowsy. “Come on, let’s let them get home,” Terra told him, seeming to forget all about what she said to him. "Yeah." Shadow said, falling into her, almost falling asleep. Terra put Shadow on her back then bid Lunala and Solgaleo farewell. When they left, Terra took Shadow to his room and lied him on his bed and then crawled in next to him. Shadow wrapped his forelegs around her and nuzzled her in his sleep and then pulled her against him. Terra did the same and fell asleep.

The next morning

Shadow stirred and yawned as he woke, the morning sun blaring through the window. Terra was still asleep, hugging him. Shadow held her tighter and gently kissed her forehead. Terra sighed and put her head against his chest, “they’re beautiful…” She mumbled. I bet I know what she's dreaming about, let's see if I can tamper with her dreams a little. He thought. "Yeah, they are." He whispered to her. Terra went to kiss him, “thank you~" she mumbled. Shadow kissed back. "Anything for my love." He whispered to her. “Again soon, if you want…” Terra mumbled. "You're just the most lustful thing aren't you~?" Shadow whispered to her and then accidentally chuckled. “Yeah~ but I’m your lustful thing,” she said, waking up. Shadow gently kissed the top of her muzzle. "Mornin' honey, nice dreams?" Shadow asked. “Only because of you, and morning to you too, babe,” Terra said. "Yeah. There is something I want to ask you but I don't want to ruin the moment." Shadow said. “Hm?” Terra hummed, curious. "About whatever happened four days ago that I apparently forgot about." Shadow said, "remember last night you said something happened 3 days ago, well I guess now it's four, but I don't know what it was." Shadow said. Idiot you just asked her. He told himself. Terra looked at him for a few seconds then said, “Oh, four nights ago, when we mated? You really don’t remember that?” Terra asked. "Oh that's what it was." Shadow said, "Now how could I forget the first time we mated?" He asked as he kissed her. “I don’t know, but you did,” Terra said, getting off the bed. "I didn't, I just didn't know what you were talking about." Shadow said. “What else was significant enough about that day?” Terra asked, doing everything she could from raising her voice. "Nothing I guess." Shadow said, getting up and closing the window and the curtains. “Exactly, nothing else would have been appropriate to tell them,” Terra told him. "Yeah." Shadow said. He turned to face her and went to hug her. "You're very beautiful y'know that?" Shadow asked. “You’re handsome, you know that?” Terra countered, resisting the urge to toss him on the bed. Shadow just kissed her. Terra returned the kiss. "I love you." Shadow said. “I love you too, my love,” Terra said. Shadow just pulled her back into bed and snuggled her. Terra placed her head on his chest. He kissed the top of her head. Terra licked his chest, purring. Shadow also purred as he licked behind her ears. Terra sighed as she felt him, one of her back legs shaking. Shadow continued to do it. “Please stop, I’m ticklish there,” Terra cried out, laughing. Shadow stopped then started rubbing her back with his paw.” Oh… thank you, hon,” Terra said. "Anything for my lusty Terra." Shadow cooed. “Hey, you don’t want to go there,” Terra said, placing a paw on his sweet spot. Shadow chuckled. "You don't know the little conversation we had in your sleep." Shadow chuckled, smiling at her. “That is where you are wrong,” Terra said, tapping him on the nose with her paw then rolling off the bed, landing on her paws. "Honestly I wish we could just sit there and snuggle all day." Shadow said, getting up. “I know what you mean, I want to also, but while Alita would let us, I kinda like to do things, y’know?” Terra asked. "What is there to do?" Shadow asked. “Continue training for the Necrozma battle, you know,” Terra said. "Go ahead, I won't stop you." Shadow said. No point in me training, I won't be of any use against him anyways, they even said so, without saying it, the only two that are useful for it are Terra and Firestar. Shadow thought. "Should I tell Firestar?" Shadow asked. “You can, but I’d much rather you come with me,” Terra said, running a current through her fur then making it lay flat. "I would be completely useless, you go ahead and train without me, you guys even said so yourselves, just, without actually saying it." Shadow said. “What do you mean?” Terra asked him. "Like I said last night when we rode on Lunala and Solgaleo, the only ones that would be useful are you and Firestar, I don't recall throwing myself in there, and you guys also agreed with my statement regarding who would be useful." Shadow said, holding up his paw and resembling a 2 with his dactylis, "The only two being, you, and Firestar." Shadow continued. “Yeah, we may be able to affect him the most, but we aren’t the only ones useful,” Terra said, leaving the room. Shadow followed. "Then who else? Night isn't here at the moment and the ditto four are busy doing whatever it is they do, so that leaves only the possibility of Ethan and Mork." Shadow said. “Night isn’t here now, that is correct, but I doubt he’ll give up, The ditto four use its moves against it, whatever ‘it’ may be, Firestar puts a burn effect on them, and I do me, which is whatever I need to do,” Terra said. "So like I said, unless you're saying that Ethan and Mork or one of those two will be useful then I'm right that it's only you and Firestar that'll be useful, besides Solgaleo and Lunala." Shadow said. “But you’re wrong, it’s moves being thrown back at it deals significant amounts of damage, most of the moves get a buff if the opponent has an effect on it, I won’t go into what Ethan or Mork do." Terra said. "So then the only ones that are useful are you, Firestar, and the ditto four." Shadow said. “Again, no, Mork and Ethan are what is commonly called ‘heavy hitters,’ but they do it in a fashion none of the rest of us would do." Terra said. "So the only useful ones are you and everyone else on this team." Shadow said. “And that includes you,” Terra said. "I don't recall throwing myself in there." Shadow said, "by 'everyone else' I meant Firestar, Mork, Ethan, and the ditto four." Shadow said. “You aren’t useless, Alita has you in the setup somewhere, just can’t for the life of me remember where,” Terra said. "But I am, I'm only here for moral support and to please." He whispered that last part into her ear. “While you do those things, you can do more,” Terra said, opening the front door. "Not really, I am relatively useless." Shadow said, "you don't need to defend me on that, because I already know it's true." Shadow said. Terra didn’t hear him as she shut the door behind her. Shadow told everyone what was going to be going on soon and to be prepared, Shadow went to his room and lied on his bed. There was a knock on the door to his room. "Come in." Shadow called and turned onto his side to face the door. Alita entered the room, “figures, anyway, what are you still doing up here? Everyone else is at the training hollow,” Alita said. "I know." Shadow told her, "they're training for a battle against necrozma." “And why aren’t you out there with them?” Alita asked, sitting at the foot of the bed. "I wouldn't have any use against him." Shadow said. Alita laughed, “If you think that, it’s a wonder how you have survived this long,” She said. "It's not like I'm depressed." Shadow said. “Any mon with a move is useful, unless you happen to be a metapod with the one move,” Alita said. "Not against necrozma, only z moves affect him." Shadow said. “All moves affect him, but z moves are more effective on him,” Alita explained. "Basically I can't do much of anything." Shadow said.. Alita handed him a small crystal, and a small band matching her own. "What's this?" Shadow asked. “If it does what I hope it does, then it will allow you to Z power any move that you may have, and have five uses in battle,” Alita told him. "Oh so that's what they look like? That means you'll have to come with. I can't, I won't put my trainer in danger." Shadow told her. “I’m coming whether you like it or not, Shadow, I will do everything I possibly can to protect you guys,” Alita said. "I won't let you risk your life!" Shadow said. “Protecting you guy’s is my first priority,” Alita said, “as such, you guys will not be going without me.” "Huh, my first priority is to protect everyone at any cost." Shadow said. “Then we are on the same page,” Alita said. "Except I won't tisk another's life to protect a life. The only one I'd do that for is Terra, otherwise I'd protect them with my life." Shadow told her. “I’d give my life to protect any of you,” Alita said. "by the way here's the band, only trainers are supposed to wear the z-ring." Shadow said. “The band you have is to hold the crystal for you, so your paws are free, y’know?” Alita asked. "Except I'm a pokemon not a trainer I can't use this." Shadow said. “I’m not to keep it, the band I’m wearing connects to the crystals I own, I have to let you hold them for you to use your Z powers,” Alita said. "Oh." Shadow said, putting the band on. "I need help." Shadow told her. “With the band?” Alita asked, reaching over and helping him put it on. "Thanks." He said. “Of course,” Alita said, giving Shadow a hug. "What's this for?" He asked. “Why not?” Alita asked. "I don't recall needing one." Shadow said. “Who said either of us need one? I just want one,” Alita said. "How can you want one if you don't need one?" Shadow asked. “Just because,” Alita said, releasing him. "That's not an answer!" Shadow told her with an audible growl. “It is,” Alita said, leaving the room. Shadow followed. "Fine then, I'll humor you and ask, because why?" Shadow said. "Unless you can give a valid reason, don't hug me unless either one of us needs it or we're relaxing." He growled. “Fine, jeez, I’ll tell Terra not to hug you if you get like this,” Alita said, heading down the stairs. Shadow followed. "Me and her don't hug, we snuggle and cuddle which I think are the same thing as one another." He told her. “Close enough,” Alita said. "Though they aren't the same thing as hugging, they are completely different actually." Shadow said. “Close enough, you do hug while cuddling, I know that,” Alita said, then immediately covered her mouth. "Not really, sure you may hold the other person or mon but it's not- oh." Shadow said. “Yeah,” Alita said, turning to face him, “do you want to test the Ultimatum Z?” She asked. "Since I know every single move, if I had every type of Z-crystal I could use all Z-moves, so what Z-moves can I use with this one?" Shadow asked. “You have the capacity to learn all moves, from what Mark says, but only have five at a time,” Alita said, “but the Ultimatum Z acts like all of the Z crystals at once, but also unlike the rest of them, it has five uses per battle instead of one.” "No, I have literally every move in my moveset." Shadow told her. “That isn’t what Mark said,” Alita said. "He doesn't know what he's talking about, I haven't even talked to him since I first came here." Shadow told her. “You wore the armor, you know Mark,” Alita said. "Yes I know what it allows, Night told me, but it had nothing to do with the armor for me, I have every move in my moveset, I assume since I first escaped the lab." Shadow explained. Alita shook her head. "I'm not lying." Shadow told her. “I severely doubt it,” Alita said, getting up. "Why don't you believe me? What, is it that I'm the newest mon in this 'family'? Is that why? Well in that case you don't need my help." Shadow said, going back to the house and his room, lying on his bed. “You forget about Jake, don’t you?” Alita asked. "Technically he's not the newest." Shadow told her then closed the line.

A couple minutes later, with Alita…

Maybe he’s right, I don’t do anything to help them, they do their own, though I do help them relax, that’s a plus, right? Alita thought. She then sighed, turning off the TV. Shadow continued to lie in his room, Maybe I am practically useless, they don't even trust me enough to believe something simple as the truth, which I always give. Alita may care for us but she doesn't seem to have any empathy. At least not towards me, again probably because I'm the newest mon… whatever, she and the others will be perfectly fine without my help, they very much don't need it. He thought to himself, sighing, beginning to wait. It was a while before the others came back. Terra immediately went to Shadow’s room. "Hey sweetie." Shadow said, seeing her enter. Terra hugged him. Shadow hugged back. "I love you Terra." Shadow said. “I love you too, hon,” Terra said, seeming tired. "You just rest sweetie." Shadow said. Terra grumbled something, then flopped on the bed. Shadow wrapped his legs around her. “Firestar beat my ass, not literally, but in a battle,” Terra said, hugging him. "Why didn't you just use that one move?" Shadow asked. “I did, he toughed it out, then flattened me,” Terra said. "Oh." Shadow said. “Did that to everyone, his Malicious Moonsault is an absolute beast when he targets you,” Terra said, stretching a little. "Oh." Shadow said, "I learned Alita doesn't trust me." “What do you mean?” Terra asked, looking at Shadow. "Here I told her the truth about something and she didn't believe me." Shadow said. “What was it?” Terra asked, “And there is a difference between trust and believing, people and mon and trust you, but not believe you on something.” "you have to be able to trust in order to believe." Shadow said. “Not exactly, while they can go hand in hand, there are a lot of times when they don’t,” Terra said, “now, what was it that she doesn’t believe?” "that I have every move in my moveset." Shadow explained. “I find that hard to believe as well, I honestly think that you have the capacity to learn them all, but have it all at once. Now, do you know how many moves are known?" Terra asked. About as many as there are different species of pokémon” Shadow guessed. “There are 826 known moves, but 898 known types of pokemon,” Terra said. "So I was right using about, then." Shadow said. “You are off by seventy two, don’t call that ‘about,’” Terra said, “I was so bored one day, I decided to count them…” "Ah." Shadow said. “Yeah, I would have asked Alita to go out hiking, but Firestar was with her at the time,” Terra said. "Oh." Shadow said, "okay." Shadow said. “I don’t know what Firestar and Alita do, so don’t ask,” Terra said. "I wasn't going to." Shadow said. “Okay...” Terra whispered, passing out due to fatigue. Shadow just held her. Terra shifted around, getting comfortable. Shadow also went to sleep.

An hour later…

Something pulled Terra from her slumber, head aching. "Mmm… Terra…" Shadow mumbled. The ache slowly faded as Terra looked around the room, seeing nothing, she tried to return to sleep. It took her three minutes to realize that Sleep would not come, so she got up, careful not to wake Shadow, and paced the room. After a little bit, Shadow woke. "Hey sweetheart, you okay?" Shadow asked. “Something woke me and I can’t get back to sleep,” Terra whispered. "Oh no." Shadow Said. He went over to her and felt her forehead. "Well you aren't sick." Shadow said. “No and it’s too early for it to be this,” Terra said, rubbing her stomach. "Yeah we have like 3-4 days yet before they should be laid." Shadow said. “I’m sorry, who told you that it takes a week and a half?” Terra asked, "my mom." Shadow said. “Then she is mistaken, it takes three weeks for it to properly develop,” Terra said. "I thought it was a week for the egg to develop, and then be laid then two for it to hatch." Shadow replied, "So you're saying it takes a month for the egg to be laid then a month for it to hatch? That doesn't sound correct, at all." Shadow said. “I know from experience, maybe something is special about your mom, but normally, it takes three weeks for it do develop enough to be laid, then another two to three for it to hatch,” Terra explained. "Wait wait wait, you've had children before?" Shadow asked, taken aback, "now that I can't believe, because if you have, they'd be here." Shadow said. “You don't know what happened at the facility…” Terra said darkly. "So the poor things died there?" Shadow asked. “I don’t know, they were taken from me…” Terra said, beginning to shake. "Now I understand why, they probably did it to see what would happen with the born children, they were probably tested on or something like that, way worse than any of us." Shadow said, then regretted having said that, afraid that that'd have made her feel worse, so Shadow just hugged her. "The bright side is, it should hurt you less than before to lay the eggs." Shadow said. I bet the things died there. Terra’s eyes clouded over, “Shadow? Where am I” Terra asked, looking around, but not seeing the area around her. "You're in my room, where you've been, are you okay?" Shadow asked. Terra bagan to breathe heavily, “Not another lab, please…” Terra whimpered. "Oh no… I'm sorry for talking about it, you aren't in a lab, your mind, for some reason, is making you relive it the whole lab thing, don't worry, I'm here for you." Shadow said, hugging her and kissing her forehead gently. At the first touch, Terra collapsed. Shadow snuggled her. Terra’s eyes cleared, “I’m not… and who?” Terra asked herself. "It's fine, you're fine now." Shadow said, picking her up and bringing her to the bed, then he lied beside her and kissed her. “Do you know an eevee named Scarlet?” Terra asked him. "No, why?" Shadow asked. “An eevee called me that, and a voice that wasn’t my own called him Cobalt…” Terra said, shaking. "Don't worry, you're done with that lab, every one of those labs in Alola have been destroyed." Shadow said. “There is still one, somewhere, I don’t know how I know, but I know,” Terra said. "Oh, well you don't have to worry, I'll protect you with my life, even sacrifice another if I have to." Shadow said. “No you will not, I forbid it,” Terra said, “Don’t risk your life or anyone else's life for me.” "Fine I won't sacrifice another, but I will sacrifice my own." Shadow said. “No,” Terra said. "I will do everything in my power to protect you." Shadow said. “But don’t risk your life,” Terra said, kissing him. Shadow kissed back. "It's not just you I'd be risking my life for." Shadow said, touching her stomach. “I know, hon, I know,” Terra whispered, slipping into a blissful sleep. Shadow didn't want to sleep, he wanted to be there to comfort her if something were to happen. Terra gripped Shadow, hugging him tightly. Shadow hugged back. "My little love magnet." He whispered. Terra began to shake. Shadow held her against him, rubbing her back. Terra started to mumble something. Shadow just continued to rub her back. Terra finally settled down. Shadow ended up falling asleep.

That afternoon

Shadow woke up and looked for Alita, who was on the couch, holding something. "Hey Alita, I'm sorry about what happened before." Shadow apologized. "What do you mean?" She responded, still looking at the ball. "Remember how rude I was? when you wouldn't believe thr truth that I have every move in my moveset. It's not like I can't prove it." Shadow told her. Alita stood and set the ball on the shelf with many others that looked like it, "it's fine, I don't need to see most of them ever again…" Alita trailed off. "Anyways, is there a mountain range anywhere nearby?" Shadow asked. "What for?" Alita asked aloud. "Training, my motto is train till death then rest." Shadow explained. "What kind of training?" She asked him. "You don't wanna know." Shadow told her. "Then I can't help, there are, technically, mountains everywhere, but it depends on what you need for which you go to," Alita said, sitting back down. "I need one full of dangerous mon." Shadow told her. "You may want to ask Luna or Sol about that," Alita said. "Ultra beasts aren't nearly dangerous enough, the most dangerous mon to exist is the Beware." Shadow told her, "So a mountain full of them, salazzle, and beedrill would be perfect." "Not just ultra beasts, but the worlds they can reach" Alita responded. "I don't want to go to other worlds, the chances of something preventing us from returning is above fifty percent, so just point me in the direction of a mountain full of Beware, Beedrill, and Salazzle." Shadow said. "Poni Canyon," Alita told him. "How do I get there?" Shadow asked. "Ferryi or dragon, you pick," Alita answered. "Ferry, we can bring everyone to the isle, a nice little vacation before the major fight." Shadow chose. "You have yet to see the new addition to the house, it will be easier with them." Alira explained. Shadow tilted his head in confusion, "New addition? Also I'd rather take the ferry, looking over the nice beautiful sea." "Yes, new addition, it took a bit to find them, but I did, they are tired, though, so I'll let them sleep," Alita said, looking at the ball she just had in her hands. "What are they? Dragon types?" Shadow asked. "No," she responded. "Then what are they?" Shadow asked in response. "They call themself The Dark Hunter," Alita said, trying to keep it a secret of what they are. "Some sort of assassin probably." Shadow said, "Anyways I'm going to gather the others and we can go on a ferry ride to Poni Island." "Not an assassin, anymore, and tell them to pack the suits," Alita told him. "What suits? And why? I always train alone." Shadow said. "API 2, remember 4? There is one on each island," Alita said, smiling. "AP what now?" Shadow asked. “API: Aether Paradise Installment, I still hate those guys,” Alita said. "So again, what suits if it's the suits they wear then why would you have everyone pack those suits? If you hated them you wouldn't have suits like theirs." Shadow contradicted. “But they aren’t theirs, I built them, me and my mother, anyway, the last one I put together was Terra’s,” Alita explained. "That doesn't explain why." Shadow told her. “We are going to take out another Installment, dear Shadow, one that gave me hell for years on end…” Aurora trailed off. "Okay then." Shadow said, still a bit confused that wasn't what he asked why about but probably would've asked nonetheless. "That still doesn't explain why they need the suits or why you even built them." Shadow told her, about to just give up on getting an answer. “They are enhancers, I don't want you guys hurt,” Alita replied. Shadow promptly left the room to gather the others. “Where are we going?” Terra asked when he told her to get ready, "To Poni Island apparently." Shadow said. Terra gasped, “hold on,” Terra grabbed the black cloth that is her armor and made sure that she had a weird looking coin. Shadow returned to the living room to wait for everyone. Terra followed suit and waited. “Who are we waiting for?” Alita asked. "Everyone else." Shadow said. “Aurora and Midnight are here, along with Firestar, you two, Jake, John and his siblings, Mork, and Ethan," Alita said. "Is that everyone?" Shadow asked. “I think so, I don’t know what has happened to Night, I haven’t seen him around lately, he up and vanished. Lunala told me not to worry, but I still do worry about him,” Alita said, “She told me that Night would come back one day, hopefully it’s soon…” "He will be back soon enough." Shadow told her. “I hope so,” Alita replied. "C'mon let's head to the ferry." Shadow told her. “Yeah, let’s head out, come on, pack the armor away, we are going on a ferry, guys,” Alita said, looking at all of them. Shadow was the first to leave the house. Terra followed him, and the others just vanished, their ball glowing as Alita picked them up, and the pure black one as well, then followed the two “I hope not to use the dark one,” Alita whispered to herself, not meaning for shadow to hear her. "How bad could they be?" Shadow asked her. “Hm?” Alita asked, Shadow breaking her train of thought. "You heard me." Shadow replied. “The AP, or the Dark One?” Alita questioned. "Yeah." Shadow answered. “That doesn’t answer the question, Shadow,” Alita replied. "How does it not? You literally just asked if that was who I was talking about, is yeah not a word that exists as a yes?" Shadow asked her. “Which one? The AP or the Dark one? That was the unanswered question by that ‘yeah’ you said,” Alita returned. "Oh, I was talking about the dark one because you just said you hope not to use them." Shadow explained. Alita nodded, “I don’t know him and I would rather get to know him before I have to call upon him,” She said, it wasn’t a lie, but she seemed to be withholding something. “What are you holding back?” Shadow asked her. “I’m not,” Alita replied, not looking at him. “Well you’re withholding something.” Shadow said. Alita didn’t reply to him as they approached a ferry terminal. Shadow didn't bother to pressure his trainer, he didn't really care about whatever beef she had with the API. Alita paid for the tickets and went to sit on the dock to wait for it to arrive. Terra curled up in her lap and Alita smiled and began to stroke her. Shadow, since Terra was in Alita's lap, just curled up a little ways away, since he couldn't lie next to Terra, and soaked up some sunshine. “You were right, I am… if you really want to know I’ll tell you back at the house." Alita told him. "Sure, but of course after the trip." Shadow replied, feeling the breeze drift through his fur. There was the sound of a horn far out at sea. Alita sighed, “Why are you over there?” "Soaking up sunlight, what do you think I'm doing?" Shadow answered. “Just thought you might want to be over here with your mate,” Alita replied, “to each their own” "I can't really do that when she's literally in your lap." Shadow replied, a hint of envy in his mind's voice. “I doubt she’ll mind laying next to you, if you asked, or sharing my lap,” Alita responded. "How could we possibly share your lap? It only fits one mon of our size, or two vees." Shadow said. "I'm fine here anyway." He lied, closing his eyes. “Are you sure?” Alita asked him, starting to worry a little. "Yeah." He said, it was obvious he was lying. “You’re lying, I know you well enough to tell,” Alita responded. "I'm not lying, pokémon don't lie." “they do,” Alita responded. "Even if we could, I don't." “Even that is a lie,” Alita told him. "I was not lying." “I don't believe you,” Alita returned. "Believe what you will, I wasn't lying when I said I'm fine over here." Alita shook Terra awake, “Shadow-” was all she managed before Terra leapt onto the planks and went over and layed next to Shadow. "No you go rest with our trainer, I'm fine lying by myself." Shadow told Terra. “No, Alita wouldn’t have woken me if it was nothing, she’s probably worried,” Terra said. "About what?" Shadow asked. “You,” Terra answered simply. "Why? I told her I'm fine." Shadow said. "So go ahead, rest with our trainer, I'll be fine on my own." Shadow said, scooting away. “I see why she is worried, this isn’t you, or, not the one I fell in love with,” Terra said. "It is me hun, I'm just figuring you'd rather lie with her than me." Shadow said. “Shadow, you’re my mate, why wouldn’t I want time with you?” Terra questioned. "Well you certainly seemed like you'd rather lie with Alita." “I thought you would join me,” Terra explained. "Join you in what?" Terra sighed at that, then nuzzled him, “I love you.” "I love you too, but you didn't answer the question." He said, nuzzling back. “Think, hon,” Terra whispered to him. "Look at our size, hun, we can't both fit in her lap." Shadow told her. “Firestar is much bigger than the two of us combined and he curls in her lap from time to time,” Terra said. "Oh, okay that's gotta be awkward." Shadow said. Terra looked like she wanted to say something, but decided against it. "But come on then I'll join you." Shadow said. Terra got up and walked with shadow back to Alita’s lap. Shadow rested in her lap with Terra. “There we go, shadow,” Alita said, stroking the pair of them. Shadow purred some as he slowly drifted off. Terra smiled and purred, returning to the dream from which she was pulled from. It was a while till Alita woke the pair, as the ferry was approaching. Terra made a sort of meow while yawning. Shadow woke up too, stretching like a cat and yawning. “I hate to wake you two, but the ferry is coming,” Alita whispered. Terra pushed her head into Alita’s chin to show that it was okay. Shadow tilted his head to the side in a way that caused his neck to make small cracking sounds. Before turning his head to the pier. “Are you okay?” Alita asked, never having heard a mon crack their neck. Shadow nodded. “Okay,” Alita said, picking them up and heading to where the ferry had docked. Shadow could already feel the nice ocean air rushing through his fur as he took a nice deep breath. Terra put her face towards the wind and closed her eyes, enjoying the feel. Alita showed the tickets to the ferryman and got on, choosing one of the outer seats and setting Shadow and Terra in her lap once more. Shadow decided to get up and peer out over the front of the ferry. "Before you ask, I'm fine, just enjoying the ride." Shadow told Alita. “I’m aware,” Alita returned, seeming lost in thought. Shadow continued to stare over the bow of the ferry. "Oooo I see some Lapras!" Shadow exclaimed, watching a herd of lapras swim by in the distance. Terra got next to him to watch, “hehehe,” She giggled. Alita pulled out her camera and took a picture of the pair. Shadow snuggled up against Terra as they watched across the water. Terra purred and suggeled him as well. "I love you hun." Shadow said. Terra kissed him and whispered, “love you too.” Shadow kissed back and rested his head against her. Terra turned her head and licked one of his ears then put her head on his. The pair just rested like that for a bit. “I love you, Shadow,” Terra whispered. Something moved behind Terra and Shadow. "I love you too." Shadow said and then looked behind himself. Terra looked too, just barely catching the movement. There was a flash of red and then Firestar was sitting next to Alita, smiling as he put a paw around Alita. Alita, in response to the paw, put her head on his shoulder, eyes closed. Firestar didn’t seem to see the two of them looking at him and Alita. Shadow simply faced forward again. “Okay…” Terra whispered, looking out to the water again, “Didn’t expect that…'' she continued. "Same here." Shadow said. “Interesting though, makes me truly wonder what is actually going on,” Terra spoke. "What do you mean?" Shadow asked. “Like if this is a new thing, or something that has been happening for a while. Though I always thought something was going on between them,” Terra replied. "Their positioning would look really weird, er, awkward from the perspective of anyone that would see that. It would be less strange if he were a litten, I mean I understand how she doesn't find it awkward seeing as we are her pokémon and the way she treats her pokemon I see how she doesn't find that positioning, well, as I said, awkward." Shadow said. “True, but I still think there is something deeper,” Terra replied. "What do you mean 'deeper'?" Shadow asked. “I don’t know how to explain it, it just seems like something is there that we can’t see,” Terra said thoughtfully. "You mean like another mon we can't see?" Shadow asked. “No,” Terra said, “I’m probably just paranoid.” "Probably." Shadow said. Terra gets off the railing and heads to the room. Shadow continued to watch out over the water. The sun started to dip below the water out to the west. Shadow watched it go down. “Shadow, you coming?” Firestar asked, getting ready to head inside to their room holding a sleeping Alita in his arms. "In a bit." Firestar nodded and headed inside. Shadow continued watching, slowly getting drowsy and then went inside and lied with Terra. Terra was on the foot of the bed while Alita was tucked into said bed, Firestar was in a corner, just standing there watching things. Shadow had jumped onto the bed and curled up by Terra and went to sleep. Firestar watched this then sat in front of the door to keep intruders out and fell asleep himself.
Four hours later

Alita shifted and fell off the bed, the air being knocked out of her. “Ow, the bed is too small,” She said, getting up. Shadow woke up hearing the sound of her hitting the floor, his mind being foggy from just waking up, in the middle of the night, he didn't think to use the telepathic link, so he just tilted his head at her in concern. Firesar was instantly on his paws, rushing to help in any way he could. Terra was rubbing the sleep from her eyes, not aware of the situation. Shadow jumped off the bed and checked over Alita to make sure she was alright, he was relieved when he found she was perfectly fine. “She’s okay, that’s good,” Firestar muttered. Alita smiled at the two of them, “I could’ve told you that I was fine,” Alita said. “I swear that she can actually understand us sometimes,” Terra said, coming up on Shadow’s right. "She can always understand us, oftentimes if a trainer forms a strong enough bond with their pokemon they can understand them perfectly, well almost perfectly." Shadow replied. Alita blinked at him, a look of confusion on her face. “I guess so, huh?” Alita finally said. Shadow nodded, going around her to give her something to help herself up with. Alita grabbed the side of the bed and hauled herself up. She went to her bag that she had brought along and pulled a container out of it, opened it and handed a Tomato berry to Firestar, Rownap to Shadow, and something Shadow couldn’t identify to Terra. Alita then locked the container and put it back in the bag. Shadow ate the berry. Alita pulled out a bottle of water and tossed it to Firestar, who caught it, then pulled out two bowls and filled them with water and set them out for the other two. Terra downed the whole bowl in seconds. Shadow only took a small drink and then lied down at the foot of the bed. “Don’t get too comfortable yet, Shadow,” Alita said, checking her watch on the nightstand, “forget what I said, we have another three hours.” Alita responded to herself, making her way to the door that led out. "Why'd she leave? It's the middle of the night." Shadow questioned. Terra shrugged. Firestar said, “She needs something…” he trailed off. "What does she need? Comfort?" Shadow asked. “Don't know,” the cat said, “but I have a feeling…”
