Jake's POV

So it's 6 àm and we've just left the apartment to catch the 10 am flight flight back home. Oh God my heart is breaking this isn't like last time we know how how we how we feel and the dreams we have for the future a future I intend to have.

My mate and son are my family they mean everything to me and I am only trying to secure their future and to do that it means I must go home and make some important changes.

As we reached the security I picked Olli up and kissed his forehead telling him to take care of his dad for me and that I would see him soon. I then take my mate and we kiss as though we've forgotten where we are, clashing of teeth, tongue meeting it was a goodbye kiss and since we are both scared of the outcome of my meeting it's a most goodbye in there too.

''I love you,please be careful and I will see you all soon .''I said with tears in my eyes.

Ashton could only nod or else he would be balling his eyes out. I could tell he was trying to look sophisticated and mature when he said goodbye at the airport but that got lost somewhere,when he realized that this may be the last time he saw his mate.

I was surprised by just how strong our bond was and now that we have promise to call daily in order to survive this separation after finally mating fully. I wanted everyone to know he was mine and thar I was his.

Stepping through that gate was brutal, but necessary and soon I was in my seat trying not to think of the look on Ashton's face as I was walking away.

The flight was no better with a flight attendent who could not take no for an answer. She was constantly by me trying to make conversation even after telling her I was gay and had a boyfriend in a serious relationship, she deceided that it was her job to save me, only angering me more!!

Taking this crap from mg father was one thing but from her.... I promise to report her as soon as we land. Bitch!!

Finally the plane landed and we disembarked, after lodging my complaint I went out in search of the vehicle that should be waiting for me.
As I saw Dominic standing in the waitin area with a large card with my name as if he had no idea what I looked like, I could only shake my head.

Me: Why are you such a dork?
I ask laughing. And heading to get my bags.

Dominic: But it was funny right? Is this all you have then follow me.
He said still smiling.

After settling in the SUV he brought I ask for an update on the pack, where more supprises was taking place. And more !!

The ride back was tension filled and even after taking with Ash and being reassured I was still nervous about what I had to do but do it I will.

As we drived up the gravel driveway I watched the pack house get bigger and bigger filling me with more and more apprehension.

As we pulled up and I opened the vehicle door, the front door of the house opened, and my father stepped out as though he knew what I was going to do! Just as he always did when I was a kid and got into a lot of scrapes.

I walked up to him extending my arm to shake his hand, since he was not big on Public Displays of Affection. And was greetes with a smile that told me he was up to something.

My fake smile firmly in place I said "great to see you dad, but what brings you here again so soon''.

Eustace ( Jake's dad): hey son you know that your problem is going to keep me coming back time and again.

My single status he means but calls it my problem but I have a surprise for him.

Me: dad can we talk about this in my office please as you can see I just got back.

Eustace: sure son see you in a hour ok

Me: sure dad no problem

After my bags were unpacked I was briefed that my special guest had arrived and was awaitng me.

Afer that meeting I saw my dad where he cordially informed me that more Alpha daughters were just waiting to meet me and I requested a meeting with the council tomorrow.

After the stupid parade I was finally allowed to eat and bathe and talk with my mate and son before falling to sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a hell of a day.

The alarm woke me up at 6:30am where I dressed and started preparing for the meeting that was schedule to start at 10:00am.

The meeting room was filled at 9:55am which was even worst for me! But, I squared my shoulders and marched i precisely on time.

Me: Thanks everyone for coming on such short notice, but I think that it is imparitive that some changes are made to our pack laws, over the last few years the pack has been getting weaker and it mostly because of the same sex laws forbidding the mating.

Dad: those laws was placed there to make the pack stronger how can you say that it is making it weaker

Me: the constant defection by pack members who want to be with the mate the goddess chose for them

Dad: but they can't procreate and we all know that that is the most important part to a pack is knowing that there would be future generations.

Me: I have proof that that is not so and that same sex couples can have babies

Dad: impossibe

Me: so if I were to disprove that theory would you all repeal that law and allow same sex couples once the goddess deems it so

Dad: yes, I think that we all agree that if that were possible we would have no problem reversing that decision
