Ashton's POV:

Waking up next to the love of my life was truly a joyous experience, that I've enjoyed to few times, for all the years that I lived here and the duration our relationship this is the first time that I have had this experience here and know that tonight I'll be repeating it and for a lot more mornings to come. I know that when he saw me back home he stayed in my bed with me, but this is his home in his bed it makes all the difference. 

He marked me claiming me as his own openly now I have to mark him as mine so our connection can be truly strong and last.  I love him so much and our children, yeah he's happy with my pregnancy, I kind of thought that he would be a little unhappy since we only just got back together, but its great that he's not.

After looking at him and creeping myself out , I got up and went to make my family breakfast and then get to work. Heading to the kitchen I looked through the cupboards to get familiar with where everything was and then the fridge for ingredients for the meal.  Since Ollie eats like the Alpha he is I make a lot of pancakes, eggs and every werewolf's favorite BACON!!! With coffee for myself and Jake and OJ for my Ollie. Just as I'm going to wake them I see them and they're so cute. wow father and son look so much a like that it's breath taking and soon we'll be adding another to this group.

After eating I went into Jake's office that I was borrowing to do my video conference call and other business matters on my laptop and phone calls. I was interrupted by an omega bringing me lunch, but was otherwise left to my own devices. At the office I depended on my PA to keep me on track and without her am falling behind I will need to relocate her to here and maybe open an office here too.

I will  tell Jake about all that  am feeling and thinking in order to get his opinion now that I am pregnant again. 

Jake's father is very unpredictable and I know that soon something bad is going to happen, call it 'mother's' intuition, but I feel as if my pup is in danger.  My instincts have never failed me and I would be absolutely stupid to ignore it now, surrounded by strangers in this state away from all I consider family - except for Jake  and Ollie of course.

As if thinking of him conjured him, he opens the door and says:

Jake: Hey, babe its 7:00 now, are you done Ollie has been asking for you?

I scrambled out of the chair and walked over to him where he wrapped his arms around me sticking his nose in my neck.

Jake: i missed you today. It took a lot out of me knowing you where right here and I couldn't just hold you. 

Me: Why didn't you come?

Jake: I didn't want to disturb you babe, I am sure you had a lot to catch up on and you're not in your normal surroundings so you know.

He is so thoughtful and loving towards me and Ollie. I know that he's my mate but I feel as though I would love him irregardless. He ills me with happiness and wonder the same as Ollie and our unborn baby.

Jake brings me out of my mind by saying, " Hey what's going on in that head of yours huh?"

Me: Nothing just thinking of you and our family

Jake: I have Jeremy watching Ollie in the apartment if your worried

Me smiling gently: No and yes I guess. Even though Jeremy can't disobey your father if told to hand over Ollie...... Lets hurry Ok

He grabbed my hand and started pulling me along after him even though technically I could have kept up if I expected his reaction.

A we approached the door we heard shouting from the hallway and then noticed that his father was trying to get Jeremy to open the door since apparently his codes no longer worked.

Jake: What the hell is going on dad?

Father (Eustace) : Your Beta refuses to open the door for me to visit with my grandson. That's what if you must know.

Jake: well since you are standing in front my home yelling and pounding on my door I suppose that it is my business and Ollie is not at home at present.

Eustace; Well where is he, I will go get him for you.

Jake: that's Ok his dad and I will get him and it's just time for him to go to bed.

I noticed that the door still remained closed and not a sound could be heard from within.

Eustace: Are you going to keep me away from my grandson

Jake: No but you are not his only grandparent he's visiting with other persons of the pack, and besides anything to with this pack must first come through me, you are not allowed to just order around members of this pack even though you are an elder. The next time I will record you and report you to the council

Eustace: So my son has finally grown balls and have decided to use them ( His smile and accompanying chuckle would make a grown man wet himself). This not over you cannot keep him from me.

Jake: the last I checked there is no law that says that a grand parent has more rights than the parents.

Eustace: We will see little boy, we will see. 

He stomped away but shoved me first as if I had said something to him. I knew he was and is trouble and I know that Ollie is his target but I don't know his plan but I will preempt it. I can promise him that.

I am good with reading people and what he has planned is nothing good for my son, Jake can take care of himself but I will protect Ollie and this unborn child with my life!!
