It's been three years since I left and my life has been going well I have my own company and I am one of the most eligible bachelors in the world, it's 8:00 pm and I am heading home after another exhausting day filled with decisions and meetings all I want is to have a nice bath and get some sleep to start it all over again tomorrow

I into my underground parking and parked in one of my assigned places, I sigh as my phone starts ringing without looking at caller ID I answer.

Me: "Hello"

Mom: Hello sweetie is that you

i am shocked because since i left the pack I have not contact anyone so I am wondering how she got this number and why is she calling me?

Me: Mom is that you?

Mom: Yes sweetie I am so happy,I have seen you on television and everyone is so proud of you.

Yeah right except that I am gay and my true mate is probably married with kids 

Me: Ahm mom why are you calling - I just get to the point

Mom: To tell you that you dad is probably dying and is asking to see you "she starts weeping "please come visit" my mom and dad are true mates which means that I will lose both parents if it's true. 

Oh Lord what to do but if he is asking for me then I should go 

Me: " Sure mom..... just give me a week to put things in place before I get there Ok"

Mom: Thank you I know that your busy and I have no right to be asking this of you but thank you it means a lot to the both of us."

Me: Sure mom see you soon"

WHAT THE FUCK HAVE I AGREED TO!!!! These people are suppose to be dead to me and now I'm on my way back. After two cups of coffee and three well placed phone calls I am almost set to leave the only thing that remains is do I take m son with me?

Jake's POV

During the three years that he's been gone there has been a lot of defections from the pack and even though no one wants to say it it's because of the mate rule, most of my pack is in the neibouring pack living their life like they were suppose to, and I am jealous that they could leave but I couldn't.

My dad has tried to pair me with several other Alphas daughters and I have always found a way to foil it. My cowardice is what drove him away if I would have just told him who my mate is and help change the laws then maybe he would still be here and my pack wold still be the strongest. but those are the Ifs I've seen him on TV and he looks beautiful and sexy.

The first time my dad saw him he was shocked and confused but I told him that I gave him permission to search for his mate.  If I ever see him again I'll make it up to him and do things differently.  I want my mate.

I wonder who would come on to pack lands probably a human that's lost my questions were soon answered when I smelt a sent I thought never to smell again. Coming out of a slick BMW i8 was my mate dressed in plain white T shirt, classic blue jeans and black jacket looking hot as hell my jaw dropped while he is smiling and shaking hands with Jeremy the Beta and Dominic my third then he turned to me and I saw his lips moving but heard nothing he was even more beautiful close up than on TV. Then Jeremy hit the back of my head.

"What?" i said "why did you hit me?" 

"Because you've been staring at Jake instead of answering his questions" he said laughing

" I'm sorry babe what did you say?" I asked him and everyone looked at my in sock. 

" Did you inform everyone that we are mates?' he asked concerned.

" No why"

"Because you just called him babe and if it were anyone else here you would be in a lot of problems" Jeremy said

"Fuck.... Ahmmm ... why don't we talk in my office" I suggested

"Sure" Jake said and followed me through the house. As we walked through I started to think about all that needed to change

"Shit, look I need to go to the car and get my son I'll be right back" he said literally running off before I could Ask any questions. My heart broke at the fact that he had a son, was he married now to some model or movie star, Oh god what did I do when I let him go without a fight.  I always envision us together and even though some things have changed around here the most important thing hasn't and that means we're still divided and that can only change with my father's approval. I AM FUCKED I yelled in my mind.

I had just seated my self at my desk when there was a knock at the door. "Come" I replied.

He entered with the most adorable child I have ever seen but my wolf , how went silent after Jake left, was now yelling <SON and Mate> over and over again till it was drowning out what Jake was saying to me. I zoned back in in time to hear him say

"Yeah this is my son Oliver, Oliver this is your father " 

"This is my son and you gave birth, but how?" I asked all in one breath, my wolf was howling in happiness and trying to come out to meet and greet them.

"Hello Papa, is it Okay to call him that dad since I call you dad" Oliver asked Jake
