"Such a condescending bitch!" Meghan whispered.

"Right, she is full of shit," Paige added.

"Thank you guys for standing up for me. It means a lot to me."

"You're our best friend," Paige replied.

"Besides, I could not help it. She was on my last nerve." Meghan replied.

"I just want us to find these people. I miss us."

"So true, I don't know how you are going to do it," Meghan replied, and her friends really looked very sad for her.

"I think that I will try to tell Chase that I want to leave."

"Do you think he will agree?" Paige replied.

"I have to, I can't do this anymore. The torture and seeing him all the time has made me lose myself. I just need to stop seeing him all the time."

She did not know why she was feeling all sorts of emotions. Storm pressed the tears back, worrying her friends was not nice.

Some time went by, Paige and Meghan left and she sat in her room, all the emotions that she had been holding in came out all at once.

Storm felt as if she had no control over her life. Everything was a huge mess. How did she get here? Where did it all go wrong?

Two days had passed, and she was barely coming out of her room. She had told Meghan and Paige that she needed some time to think over everything.

Every time she went out of her room, she made sure that Chase and Kelsey weren't in the kitchen, but she barely ate much.

That allowed her to stay in her room for longer periods. On the third day at night, there was a knock on her door.

"What?"

"I'm coming in, just giving you a heads up," Chase replied.

A few minutes later, he got into her room, and sat on her chair. "What's going on with you?"

"What have I done wrong now? I don't leave and I mind my own business."

"I know that, but you look................"

Chase had not finished his sentence, but she had a gut feeling as to what he was going to say, she knew very well that she was not kept.

"I don't care. It is my choice."

"Have you been crying?" Chase replied. He was gentle this time.

He was about to break her resolve if he carried on like this. "I don't want to talk about it."

Chase sighed. "If you are behaving this way, what do you expect me to do?"

"Love me."

Chase's face became shocked, then gentle, and all that was gone in a split second and became emotionless. "You know I can't."

"Why not? Was I never been good enough for you?"

"It's not that. I have to be with Kelsey for me to succeed the throne much easier."

"So we're not worth fighting for?"

"I thought about us long and hard, Storm, but every door I turned was impossible. I had to let you go and this was the hardest decision of my life."

"So take me back. We can work through this."

"Looking at you right now is making me lose my mind."

She inched towards him. "Chase, we can find other options."

"Like what?" He seemed very conflicted and confused.

"We will take it one day at a time."

"We can't."

Storm felt the blow in his words and began to retract when Chase pulled her back and kissed her. She had missed him so much.

She returned his kiss with desperation, hoping that he would know how she felt for him. She would go to the ends of the world just to be with him.

In a flash, they had tossed aside their clothes and everything had so much passion and emotions that could not be said.

Chase collapsed on her, and she was panting. He had fallen asleep on top of her and she played with his hair.

Even as he slept, he made her heart beat so much, everything about him, his scent, his sweat still lured her.

There was a bit of hope of them working through it. It seemed as if Chase was about to cave in and sacrifice everything for her.

A part of her was nervous that if they could not come up with a plan, would he resent her? She could not bear the thought.

Yet she was looking at the bright side and they would work it out. What is meant to be will always be through.

Deep down she wondered if there was a plan,

Would she have to give him up?

Would she have to give up on the love of her life?
