"What happened?" Kelsey asked as she was assessing both of them in confusion.

"A lot, go." Chase let go of her elbow and she headed for her room, she could hear them talking in low tones, and she looked out the window.

The forest and trees seemed to be calling her and she could see a light that was coming from the forest, what was it?

She could not see properly, even though her vision was excellent, and who was capable of blinding her and being so alluring at the same time?

Storm was trying to open the window when Chase barged into her room, she jumped, "Don't you knock?"

"Why were you trying to open the window."

"To get air."

He sat by the chair, "Go to sleep, I will watch over you."

"Can't you come back in ten minutes?"

"Not a chance."

"I need to change Chase!"

"I have seen you before, so what is the big deal?"

"You have a fiancé and we're not together, I'm not budging on this."

"Fine."

She changed into her pajamas, and she was glad that Chase was coming to watch her, that meant that he and Kelsey would not be having sex and she did not have to hear them.

Storm sighed, this was very pathetic for her, and when Chase came back,

"I can't sleep with the door open, you can take the chair and sit outside my room."

He got up, closed the door, and sat back down, he had completely ignored her, she lay on her bed and checked her phone.

She was happy that Meghan and Paige were entertaining her in the group chat and did not tell them that she had used them to run away from Chase.

After also responding to Jeremy that she would see him soon, Storm knew that deciding to be with Jeremy should not take this long and he was probably anxious.

She watched videos and laughed, Chase sat there quietly and did not say a word. If she did not know that he was here, she would not know that he was here.

He seemed to be fed up, was he upset with her for ruining his night with his fiancé, they probably thought she was childish.

It seemed as if they had not dated at all, if not for the pictures, she would also be wondering if they had a relationship at all.

"What?"

She snapped out of her thoughts and saw that she was staring at him, "Nothing I can't handle."

"Fine."

He did not probe anymore, and she rolled over and went to sleep.

"No, No!" She yelled out.

"HOW DID........................."

"Storm, wake up."

She opened her eyes and Chase sat on her bedside, "You're here."

Storm tried to calm down as she was panting and gasping for air.

"You're okay."

She nodded and looked at Chase, and that calmed her a lot.

"You're breaking a sweat, what did you dream about?" He brushed the tendrils of her hair back,

"Someone was after me and they were very powerful."

"Go to sleep, I'm here and nothing will happen to you."

She was trembling as her back touched the pillow again, she felt the bed soften and Chase was laying next to her.

Storm was still trembling when Chase pulled her into his arms, and she felt safe, This reminded her of the times that they used to date.

Did he feel the same way as her or did he care?

Kelsey might have been in his mind, for all she would know, she started to move out of his arms when he held her tightly in the same position.

"I do remember those days."

He kissed the top of her head.

She closed her eyes and hoped that this would not end but knowing how Chase was, this would not last and he would be back to his cold treatment towards her.

Yet she could not resist him when he was like this, sleep finally caught up to her.

Storm woke up when she heard a voice, and it was Kelsey,

"I made breakfast."

Chase sat up and so did she, he left with her and Storm went to the bathroom to shower. She had called it right that he would be cold towards her.

After getting dressed, she was reading to go to her classes, during the day Chase was more lenient, as it would be hard to attack with many wolves around.
