A few minutes later, I found myself alone in the room once more. "Go to her. Let her decide what she wants." What was that supposed to mean? Why would she want me?

Yet, the moon goddess had made her instructions clear, I was to go to my mate. Why now though? I hadn't changed and I certainly didn't deserve my mate after all the evil things that I had done.

I had made so many enemies that having a mate would only cause trouble. I was a beast, a monster there would be no way that she could ever love me.

Yet, as I glanced over at the enchanted Rose, I knew that I was running out of time. If she rejects me she rejects me it's a risk that I knew that I had to take.

"Alpha, the Doctor wishes to speak with you immediately."

"I'll be right down." A few minutes later I was in my dungeon. "What is so important that it
couldn't wait till morning?"

"Alpha, I'd advise that we abort the children this trespasser is carrying."

"Children?"

"She's carrying twins."

At this, Geraldine paled and she shrunk back from the group. "No. Please. I beg you, please don't take my babies from me."

"You trespass on our land, disrespect our Alpha , disrespect our future Luna and now you have the audacity to beg for mercy? You will receive none." The Bata replied slapping Geraldine across the face.

I looked over at the doctor "how far along is she?"

"She's in the third trimester. I can assure you that the fetuses can't feel a thing. It would be a relatively quick and painless procedure."

"No."

"Are you sure Alpha?"

"Do not question my decision. Or you will find yourself on the receiving end of both mine and my wolf's wrath. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes Alpha. Forgive me." The doctor replies but as he turns away I hear him muttering under his breath. "What's gotten into the Alpha? He never use to care about stuff like this. So why start now?"

Choosing to ignore this question I turned my attention to my Bata. "Are the men ready to go?" I demanded my voice laced with irritation.

"Yes Alpha."

"Good. Return our guest to my office . I should like a word alone with her. Now my dear, you will lead us to your pack. You will show us how to enter your pack lands without being discovered. And you will keep your mouth shut about our whereabouts and our plan."

"Or I will allow the doctor to carry out his suggestion to abort your children. Not only that, but if we even suspect that you might betray us he will make sure that you can never bear pups again. Do I make myself clear?" I replied unintentionally using my Alpha command.

The woman whimpered before bowing her head in submission "Yes Sir."

"Good. Then lead the way." I replied with a wave of my hand.

To my surprise her pack lands were not that far from ours. Instantly my wolf began to feel restless. I can sense that my mate is indeed a part of this pack. There will be plenty of time to locate her. For now let us have some fun. I am sure I don't have to explain to you what to do. This is like any other raid the rules remain the same." My wolf replies and I fight for control.

"One more thing before you go, no harm is to become any member of this pack. You are free to do as you please, but no one is to be killed."

"Yes Alpha."

"Umm when he says we can do whatever we want does that mean we can have s*x with the unmated females?" One of the younger males asks the Bata.

"Who cares if they have mates, we can still have fun with them regardless. Right?" Another young male asks in excitement.

"I'd advise against that. Unless the female is willing participant. You heard the Alpha no harm is to come to any member of the pack. That includes forcing a female into anything." The Bata replies.

"Oh come on, just because they say no doesn't mean that they don't actually want it. All women want s*x they just don't like admitting it." A older man replies.

"Do what you want but remember this, you will answer to the Alpha should he deem your act to be one of disobedience."

Gustavo POV

"Alpha we are under attack." My bata called to me.

"How did they get past our defenses?" I ask with a frown.

"They had to have someone from the inside help them." My bata replied.

My mind swarmed with questions who was attacking us? Why were they attacking us? Who helped them and why? "Get the woman and children to safety."

"Yes Alpha!"

"Gustavo what's going on?"

"We are under attack. You need to leave. Now!"

"No! Absolutely not! This is My Pack. I'm not about to go hide while everyone else is fighting for their lives."

"Autumn don't look at it that way. Your not running and hiding. Your going so you can protect the future generations of this pack. The little ones need you." At this Autumn sighed but nodded her head in agreement.

Autumn POV

A few hours later, the sounds of fighting had not decreased. The children all sat huddle in the corner of the nursery shivering in fear. They seemed to be whispering to each other a few seconds later, one of the children was shoved forward by the others. "Luna? Will our mommies and daddies be alright?" The child who had been pushed forward asked. The other children waited anxiously for the answer.

I sighed. How was I going to answer this? I couldn't lie to them and yet they were already so afraid. Telling them the truth could make things worse. "I don't know sweetheart."

"I'm scared Luna. What if my mommy and daddy don't ever come back? What will become of me then?"

"Yes, what will become of us if our mommies and daddies don't come back?" The children all asked at once. Again I had no idea how to answer them.

"Well well well, what do we have here?" A man said as he entered the room. "Looks like we hit the jackpot boys. I want a raise of hands how many of you kids have parents of high rank within this pack?"

The children all glanced over at me unsure of how to reply. I can see the fear in the children's eyes and it makes me angry. "There is nothing of interest to you here. Your fight is with the adults. Now please leave. Your scaring the children."

At this one of the men laugh. "Awww did you hear that guys? We are scaring the children." One of the men mocked causing me to let out a low growl. "You there, where is the Alpha's heir?" He demands.

"Huh?" One of the kids reply confused.

"Where's the son or daughter of your Alpha?"

"Our Alpha and Luna don't have any children." One of the older girl's reply.

"Oh? And why's that?" The man replies with a scoff.

The girl glances in my direction giving me an apologetic look before replying "our Luna is barren."

"Really? And she still remains your Luna? Your Alpha must really love her. Tell me, is your Luna nearby?"

"We will never give our Luna up to the likes of you."

"Oh I think you will. You'll change your tune when I allow of my men to take your innocence." With that the man nodded towards August.

"Stay away from her!" I hiss at the men who look at me and laugh.

"Just how do you plan on stopping me?"

"Trust me, you don't want to find out. I suggest you and your men turn around and leave this instant. Or I'll have to make you leave. I'd prefer not to have to do that. The children are already frightened. However, I will force you to leave if necessary."

At this the men burst into laughter. "A lone female thinks she's going to take us all on." The man says as he approaches the children.

"Stay away from them I'm warning you!"

"Ooh looks like we have found ourselves a feisty one. You men gather the children, I'll deal with her."

"As you wish Delta." One of the other men replied with a sigh.

Delta POV
As my men go to grab one of the children a loud snarling sound is heard. I turn to see a huge wolf now standing where the feisty woman once stood. She lunges at one of my men tearing them to shreds before they have a chance to shift.

Upon seeing the scared faces of the children and hearing their cries of terror, the wolf shifts back into her human form and throws on a shirt. Instantly I grab a hold of her. "You put up quite a fight. It's a shame that we are going to have to kill such a strong woman. But a least I get to play with you first."

"What are game are you going to play with her?" One of the female children ask in curiosity. I chuckle.

"It's called Fuc..." Before I can finish I am jabbed in the stomach by one of the other men
causing me to loose my breath momentarily.
"What the hell was that for?" I hissed at the man as I try and catch my breath.

"Dude they are just children."

"It's never too early for a girl to learn what her purpose in life is dear boy." I reply.

They boy shakes his head. "This isn't right." I heard him mutter under his breath.
