Bustling through the dinner I made my way to my tables. My long blonde hair, tied up in a tight knot atop my head. With the pen poised above my order pad I stepped up to my new table to get their order.

"Hi there! My name is Summer and I'll be your waitress tonight. Can I get y'all anything to drink?"  Looking over the couple I waited patiently for their drink order. Quickly jotting it down on the pad I hurried over to make their drink order.

The night continued much the same way. I moved quickly around Susie's Dinner. Finally as my shift was drawing to an end I took my break letting Jenny take over for me. Grabbing a water I went back into the kitchen to give Garry my order. Before I even opened my mouth to tell him my order he walked over and set down a large basket full of fries.

Mmmm fries, and not just any fries they were covered in cheese, and bacon. Looking up a Garry I smiled big at him. " You know me so well." I said as I picked some out of the basket and popped them into my mouth.

I let out a long sigh and leaned back against the counter. Picking away at the salty, crunchy goodness of my fries I watched as Garry flipped burgers. "Is Susie here?"? I asked him.

Susie is the owner of the dinner. She's an older women but don't let that fool you. She has a lot of spunk. Susie took me on a little over three years ago. Right after my mom passed in a car accident. Ever sense then she's been the closest thing to family I have left.

"She's in the back doing paperwork, she came in about an hour ago." Garry said not even looking back at me as he continued to flip burgers.

Picking up my fries and water I walked through the kitchen. Moving into the back, I watched through the break room and into Susie's back office. It was a small room with no windows. But Susie always did something to make it feel comfortable or homey. Today she had a pumpkin and gingerbread candle lit. Which was the perfect sent for the crisp fall day in Montana.

As soon as I stepped closer to her office door she looked up from her papers. He white hair was pulled back in a tight bun at the back of her head. Her light brown eyes warm and soft. "Summer!" She said with a smile as I sat down on the chair by her desk. Setting down the fries and my water I smiled at her as I grabbed more cheese coated fries and popped it in my mouth, chewing happily.

"I don't know how you can eat those all day and not even gain an ounce. " She said to me in a teasing tone. "Does that mean you don't want any?" I ask as I reach to pull the basket away from her.

"Now, now I didn't say that." Smirking at me she grabbed some fries. "How's it looking out there?" Susie asked me as she turned back to her papers.

"It wasn't too busy but we had most of our regular's. And a few out of towers. There were a few tables but Jenny is covering them while I'm on my break."

"Good, you back on tomorrow night right?" Susie asked me glancing over at the schedule on the wall. "Yep! And I am covering for Candy Saturday." At that remark Susie scratched Candy's name off the schedule and put my name in the little box.

Looking over at the clock in the wall of the break room I sighed. Standing up I turned to Susie. " Time to get back out there, do you want me to leave the fries?" I ask with a smile.

She just smiles and nods, turning back to her paperwork. Moving back through the break room and the kitchen I made my way back into the dinner. There were only a few people left as it was getting late. Smiling as I saw Jenny she passed off a tray of food to me so she could go and take her break.

I made my way over to the table she had pointed at in the back corner of the dinner. It was a large booth and six bulking men sat at it. As I approached I looked them over, they were all gorgeous looking men with chiseled features and their skin seemed to have a luminescence to it even under the harsh dinner lights.

As I got to the table I looked up at the tray and began to bring plates off and asking who ordered what. Finally with my trey almost cleared I grabbed the last burger with a steaming hot basket of cheesy fries. I smiled down at them and turned to the last man in the group.

My body froze, not even flinching as the plate slipped from my hand and crashed to the dinner floor breaking into shards of ceramic and pieces of food. Sitting before me was the man from my dream. His eyes the same bright green, dark black hair cropped short at the sides, and longer at the top. Same bulky body with a chiseled frame. Our eyes soon locked and I was transfixed in his glowing gaze.
