Alexis pov

After hours of driving, miles of highway, a few hotels, and many rest stops I'm now in my army buddy/ former partner's home town.

And I was celebrating by sitting outside the 7-11 with a slurpee eating a taquito, as I was looking up hotels sitting on my trucks tailgate.

I had this gut feeling that was odd. Like when you feel like something amazing could happen any minute. But that could be the slurpee. I mean it's hard to be in a bad mood with one.

As i watched the parking lot I was pleased to spot a familiar face walk up to the 7-11 door.

Jay, was 6 ft 5 with green eyes and black hair in a military style cut. He was wearing jeans and a green t-shirt with work boots.

Now next to him was another man, and he was hot. Now Jay is Hot but his buddy is hotter.
He was also black haired but it was slightly spiked and there was plenty to play with. He was a easy head taller and well muscled as his sleeveless black v-necked t-shirt revealed, and how he filled those jeans. Add to that his amazing greyish blue eyes reminding me of a stormy sky as both carry a serious look.

I knew being down wind was why I wasn't smelt yet.
I also noticed a few guys that had randomly walked here and were kind of scruffy. From there body language and the way the eyes Jay and the Hottie as they enter the store, I'd say there not friendly. I stick my slurpee in my truck as I grab my piece watching as my friend exits with his friend while i act cool messing with the tool box.

I note the unpleasant looking group is seen immediately by Jay and the Hottie.

"Why if it isn't Alpha Storm Rider, and his cute little Beta.", snears the one I've dubbed thing 1.

"Leave here rouge! Your on my territory!", the hottie says in a angry commanding voice. I gotta say he's hotter then I pictured him.

"What ya gonna do? Its you two verse us?", thing 1 says.

"This!", Jay says punching thing 1 and soon its a free for all. Soon Jay lands by my truck as a rouge jumps on him after he was thrown.

" Not on my watch mutt!", I say as I hit the rouge in the head with a tire iron from on top my truck knocking him off Jay as I jump off reaching a hand to help up a stunned Jay.

"Al! Your here!", shouts Jay as I help him up as I back fist another.

" Yup, as promised.", I say bashing another man. Suddenly a large wolf charges me but Jay knocks him away.

I note Jays brother is on the ground a wolf on him as I draw my piece and fire hitting said wolf in the head dropping him.
Said Alpha's gaze is drawn to me as our eyes finally meet its like those eyes soak me in as another wolf knocks me down but I wolf roll him, before I shoot his head as I get on top.

"Lookie a kitten!", says a rouge behind me.

"Oh trust me this kitty has claws", I say glaring as I spin around still ready to fight.

"Oh yea what cha got silver bullets?", he says making me smirk.

Suddenly a large wolf tackles him as he starts to shift. It was midnight black with a silver streak and he was huge.

"Good job Jay!", says the Alpha as the beta has forced the rouge to submit.

Storms pov...

My wolfside had been excited all day, and when I met her hazelnut eyes it was all over for me. I knew that this crazy woman who'd helped me and my brother was made just for me. My wolfside was jumping as our mate nodded at us before we returned to fighting.

All I wanted was to be at my newly found mate's side. Her brown wavy hair move with her as she fought. She was tall but not to tall, with curves. She wore a blue tank top and black hoodie with black shorts and blue sneakers.

I feel myself growl as a rouge lands on her, but she rolls him and terminates him.

The next taunts my mate as she smirks and taunts back.

The rouge begins to shift as Jay knocks him down landing on top in wolf form making the rouge submit.

"Good job Jay!", I say as I come to stand by my mate.

"I knew you had it in ya partner.", she says as I note her scent is human an smells like cranberries .

She then turns to face me. "You must be Storm, I believe we met on the phone. I'm Alexis.", she says her hair now hiding one eye. "Glad to meet you in person"

"Believe me beautiful the pleasure is all mine.", I say as pack members arrive to clean up the carnage and take the prisoner.

Of all ways to meet my mate it would be in a fight.

"What kind of bullets were those?", Jay says as Alexis opens her magazine up an tosses to him.

"Plain old hollow points. While its not silver its still a expanding bullet in the head.", she states as he looks.

"Would you find it creepy if I hugged the girl who saved my bacon?", I ask as she smiles.

"I'm pretty sure your OK there.", she says despite blushing and turning redder as her heart races when I hug her. I also note how perfectly she fits in my arms.

"So where ya staying?", Jay asks as we pull apart.

"Actually I was looking up hotels when you guys arrived.", she says as Jays phone buzzes and he looks.

"As much as I hate to cut this short guys, we have a virus invading our packs computer network." he says making my heart drop. I just found her.

"Well then lets go, and I'll help.", says Alexis making me thrilled inside as Jay looks at me.

"Sounds good.", I say.

"Cool, Storm you can ride with me and we'll follow Jay, that way if we get separated you can direct me.", she says.

"Wait you've known me longer.", Jay says.

"Yes but your engaged. Don't want wifey mad your alone in a car with me. Storm's single so no one will be miffed.", Alex says going to a older ford closing the tailgate.
