Alexis pov...

Reluctantly for both of us Storm had Alpha duties to attend, so I decided to go walking around town.   It was luckily a nice day out. I followed the same path Storm had shown me, and came to a stop at the old bar.

It's location wasn't bad, I'd noticed. I pulled out my cell as I contemplated the craziest move ever. It's not even fully thought out. But, the part of me that's impulsive urges me on.

But if I bought it I could make an income. It has a unused upstairs apartment, giving me a place to stay. And it's closer to Storm, so I can figure out what I'm feeling for him.

When he held me during my attack It was a feeling I've missed. After my parents died, I thought I'd never have that feeling again. I guess that's why I joined the military in a way. Cause I was hoping to find it again.

So I called the number and there was a quick pick up.

"Al it's been awhile, whats up?", comes a familiar voice.

"Jason, I need you to negotiate the purchase of a bar for me.", I say.

"Sure. Send me the info.", he says which I text quickly.

A few phone calls later, and a meet up and I own a bar, and apartment. So I get the apartment cleaned and situated first making a list for the thrift store, and the restore while making calls for utilities.

Soon my phone rang the id reading Jay.

"Well if it isn't my brother from another mother.", I say.

"Ya ya. Where you at and what you up too.", he says.

"Jay why are you stressed?", I asked.

"Al, um what do ya think of Storm?", he asks nervously as I chuckle.

"Well he's a good guy. I'm shocked he's still single. How come he's not bagged and tagged?", I ask as Jay relaxes.

"That's good cause he's nuts about you.", he answers making me blush.

"Well then I guess it's good I just bought the bar. I'll see him around more.", i say smirking.

"Whoa thats impulsive for you.", Jay says.

"Ya I know. But I guess I wanna see if anything comes between me an Storm.", I say "and this keeps me nearby without rushing things."

In the background I can make out someone running around whooping excitedly, and I think it's Storm.

"Well Jay if that's all I'll be heading to the pack house in awhile to grab my truck an crap.", i say as we separate.

Storm's pov....

I couldn't believe my ears....
My sweet little mate likes me likes me. But the kicker, she's moving to town for me. I was as happy as Rudolph when that cute female deer called him cute.

I was so thrilled when Jay got off the phone with her I gave him a crushing hug. "My mate's gonna stay in town.", i gushed like a girl.
"Well it's good to see you thinking about something other than work", my brother says grinning.

"So happy I'm gonna take her out as soon as she's settled in. In fact I'll clear scheduled time to help get her settled and up running...", I say practically babbling like a teenage girl cause my mate won't be long gone after the wedding.

Now just got to make sure she falls for me.

It'll be hard not having her in the pack house. But that's only until she realizes she's my forever, then we'll marry.
