Alexis's p.o.v.

I was almost ready for the wedding of my comrade with my date the best man. Also known as Alpha Storm. I had on a grey almost silver dress with dress sandals that were flats and comfy. I was looking in the mirror fixing my hair when my eyes set on that eyesore on my face.

Ya, you guessed it. My scar... I sigh cause no amount of foundation will really hide this thing. Normally I wouldn't care, but I wanted it gone today. It's hard to feel pretty when something that big is on your face.

I hear the door open and I know it's Storm. He never knocks unless it's the bedroom or bathroom doors. Plus he has a key. "Hey babe ready to go?", he calls to me with that deep voice that gives me chills. In a good way.

"I will be, just trying to fix my face in here.", I say as he enters the open bathroom doorway to find me staring at my scar "Though I doubt this is fixable."

"Then don't. Your still beautiful scar and all to me love.", he says walking over and hugging me from behind setting his chin on my shoulder. Looking in the mirror as the tingles explode from the contact.

"It's hard to feel that way sometimes when half my face looks like it was butchered.", I say "I could pass for a supervillain on a bad episode of Batman. Two-face."

"Baby you rock that scar. I wish you could see what I see.", Storm says nuzzling my neck. The tingles making me sigh as I shut my eyes. "Now let's go to the wedding, so I can get my best man duties done. Cause I wanna spend the rest of the night with you on my arm, and I did promise you a dance" he says his voice going cheeky making me giggle.

"Yes, sir, "I say jokingly after he releases me, giving a mini salute.

"Now that's the girl I know." He says offering his arm to me which I take.

"Let's go." I Say grinning as he leads me out as we lock up. "Time to see Jay officially bagged and tagged."

"That's going to be us someday you know?" He teases with an eyebrow wiggle playfully causing me to blush.

"Oh really?" I ask recovering. "When if I just wanted to run off to Hawaii, and get married on a beach in nothing but a swimsuit?" The growl came pretty quickly from Storm. "You'll wear at least a dress. I might claw out the priest's eyes for seeing too much of what belongs to me. " He says as his eye color swirls as his wolf fights to surface.

"Hmm, I'll have to think about it. " I say teasingly as he spins me so that he's pinned me lightly to the wall in the hallway. His wolf now in control, his gaze catches mine.

"No one will see any of your bare midriffs but me my darling, now I know your teasing. But I do not share well with others," he says leaning close as he presses his nose to where he says my mark will go. "I'm waiting patiently cause I don't want to rush you by marking you too soon. But it's hard if you tease me, or I think I need to mark my claim." His tone was almost pleading.

"I understand, but teasing you is fun so I can't promise I won't pick on you," I say smiling in amusement. "But until then I'll try to be nicer. Sometimes. And you'll have to keep controlling your wolf. Cause I'm not some Wattpad Mary Sue who won't kick your but and skin you alive if you pull something like that. " I say as he chuckles while regaining control.

"I wouldn't expect anything less of you. Come on. We have a wedding to go to.", he says as he moves back to lead me out to the vehicle. As we get to it he helps me inside and hurries around as I buckle up. "All set?"

"Yeah, I'm ready to go Mr.Alpha. Let's go so we can enjoy our dance sooner." I say with a playful wink causing him to chuckle as he climbs into the vehicle and buckles up and starts up his truck.

"Then let's get to it. I want to get this monkey suit off, to be honest," he says chuckling as he pulls out making me laugh. I rub my thumb and middle finger together as I laugh.

"Hear that. It's the world's smallest violin and it's playing just for you. You can fuss when you have to walk around in heels. Also known as torture devices for feet." I tease causing him to laugh.

"I will gladly rub those feet later, because while you hate them. I love how they make your legs look." he says with a playful grin.

"Just remember that Mr.Alpha. I will hold you to that later." I say as I playfully hit his arm. This is how the rest of our ride to the hall goes. Me and Storm joking around, and having a playful banter. On arrival he parked quickly and hurried to get my door just as fast. "Well hello again. Long time no see." I tease as he helps me out of the truck.

"Your gonna be the death of me someday." he says as he links his arm with mine. "But I'm sure I'll enjoy every second leading up to it." As we start walking inside the hall as I smirk a little.

(Sorry for the wait. My health had been a mess. Then my life kinda followed. And I had to table some things. I've been focusing on my and my kids mental health since 2020-21 has brought some more unforseen difficulties. And I'm still putting out fires in my personal life. I've had this chapter sitting in the folder over a year tbh. i know its short. So I hope you enjoy this. And again at least I gave you a short chapter, instead of a chapter long excuse of why i have not updated. )
