Last time:

"Now, where was I? Who could you be mated to? If you're mated to anyone or telling the truth about the mark on your neck. Usually alphas bring their mates along with them. Hmmmm. I wonder. I did see you with a piece of cloth earlier."

"F-fine. I do have a mate." I confessed. I really didn't like where this was going.

"Ah. I figured. Now who could it be. It couldn't be him unless....... wait. Lucy. Oh I should've known. Your mate is here. It's-."

Still Lucy POV

"A Male from another pack! Of course!" I let out a sigh of relief. He hadn't figured it yet. "No, that's not right, that mark looks like it's been half formed at that takes a while. Oh. No. How is that possible. You're Salamander's mate aren't you?" I blushed at my mate's nickname. "Of coarse! I knew it! Why else would you have not complained about the two of you sharing rooms? How you knew eachother's battling styles so well? Stuck together through out the couples brawl? It all makes sense!"

I sighed. No point in covering it now. "Yes, and if you tell anyone, I will rip your throat out and shove it up your ass." I threatened. "I'm sure you're aware of the reason for us to be hiding that fact?" I asked, glaring.

"The rule that an alpha's mate cannot become the co-alpha?"

"Yes."

"How did you become alpha anyway?" He asked.

"Became alpha before we became mates. I have been the alpha since early autumn. I became his mate a week and a half ago."

"I see." He responded. "Because I understand and don't want my 'throat shoved up my ass' I'll keep quiet." 

"Thank you." And we continued on with the scavenging list.

Time ship— 2 hours later:

We got back first. We waited for the other alphas to return. I sighed as I waited for Natsu. I shifted and pulled the scarf that his father had given him around my neck, inhaling its sent. I spotted Habiki smile at me, holding what seemed to be a rag to his nose. Must be Jenny's.

Natsu POV

We were finally done. We rushed back and found every one was there already. I felt ticked. I huffed until I spotted my Luce. She had my scarf rapped around her waist. Even though she was wearing a crop top and shorts, She didn't look cold. She smiled discreetly and I did a slight wolfy grin back. 

We headed back. I was one of the few who stayed in wolf form, walking with mine and sting's catch. Luce was in human form, but carried hers just fine. I spotted her pull a leaf out her pocket. No, no, no. I tried to leap away but she caught my face and shoved my nose on the leaf. I shifted back to a human and fell face down on the snow. Everyone laughed. I huffed. Jura behind me was still in his wolf form so Luce decided to do the same. She shoved the leaf on his nose and he inhaled the weird scent and shifted. Landing on his butt. He laughed and got back up. Luce showed them the weird minty stuff, but because it was dried and dark, it's shape was distorted and it's colour and smell was different so they didn't know what it was. It didn't help that that plant is only found in FT territory. Luce refused to tell them and I laughed. They glared at me with annoyance. I laughed again.

By the time we got back, it was night.
