Natsu POV

I had to find her, I HAD TO. Let me explain. When I was only 7 years old, I was running on the edge of the forest. We were both out in the no pack land. We were both kids. I can't remember her pelt but her scent is branded into my mind. I will find her.

Levy was on the ground, yelping in pain. I had to help. With the help of Evergreen and Mira, she was on my back. 

"WHO DID THIS TO YOU LEVY" growled a very protective Mira. 

"Was it the golden wolf who walked away from us?" I question.

She turns and shakes her head. "That Female is who put these bandages on me and tied the leaf to my chest to stop bleeding. She saved me from rouges."

"YOU WERE OF OUR TERRITORY!" Evergreen yelled. I flicked her with my snout. She stopped.

"I've been watching her for the past 3 years, she's apparently been near our boarder for 7 years. She was about 10 foot in wolf form. She wouldn't tell me her name though." Levy evaluates.

"Ok, Levy, I want you to go back and rest." I responded.

"Ok" she responds submissively. 

As we headed back, I got a nose full of the bandage that was attached to levy's front leg. It was metallic like blood but had a floral scent that I couldn't help but recognise. That Female, is Her!

As we headed in to the camp, I gently lay her down in her den where the healer would heal her.

I returned to my quarters to think.

Levy POV 

2 weeks later——————————————————————————————————————————— 

I was finally healed. I headed back to the boarder.  I saw the female on a tree a few feet away. We had an idle conversation, she asked if I was better and how was the pack life. A howl echoed across the forest. Ohh dog crap.  Sabertooth was attacking. 

She jumped down and landed next to me. She lowered her head and whispered, "Go get your pack, I'll hold em off." Before I left I yelled one more thing.

"WHAT YOUR GOING AGAINST THEM BY YOURSELF?!" 

"Yes, now go. I'll be fine. It's a small party, and by the way, my name is Lucy." She sped off to meet the 'small' party of 10 wolves. I started running and howling for backup. Gajeel howled back asking what was wrong. I howled. 'SABERTOOTH' and all the pack stopped what they were doing and ran to my aid. They arrived and I led them to where we needed to be, only to be witness to Lucy taking on ALL TEN OF THEM. She ran around them all, nipping at their legs and tails. I recognised a blonde one with a scar above his eye. Sting. He seemed awfully interested in the female. So did Natsu. Natsu saw the smaller male and growled. They had a full o battle while the rest of our patrol got the rest. The Sabers soon fled Lucy made sure off it. Natsu stood, mesmerised. She headed back in my direction. The more submissive wolves bowed. The others had fear in their eyes. Not Natsu though. She checked me for injuries before leaping heavenwards onto a branch, before she sped off faster than Laxus.

We headed back but I decided that I would get Natsu to meet this female. Lucy would be a great asset to the pack. If she joined. 

The next day I did the same thing and just chatted with Lucy. 

"Meet you here tomorrow?" I asked.

"Sure!" She replied, I knew if she knew that if it was Natsu who was coming, she would run. I left a scent trail for the male to follow.

Natsu POV 

Levy told me to follow a scent trail that she left from yesterday. She told me there was a surprise. I LOVE surprises. As I followed it, it went of territory. Ok....... something strange was happening. 

As I entered the clearing. I saw the beautiful female. She was sleeping on a patch of moss, he back towards me. I saw her shift. Her eyes soon opened and she spotted me. She lept up and started growing. I lowered my head. She soon stopped but was very suspicious of me she began to circle around me. She sniffed me and backed up if I came to close. I knew how fast she could go.

"What do you want, Alpha Natsu of the Fairytail pack" her voice silky like honey. 

"I was told by one of my pack members, Levy, to come to this location. I believe she wishes for you to join." 

"Who is your alpha female, your mate and your beta?" She questioned. "I do not wish to join a ack who oppresses females and us us like breeding machines." She spoke simply. 

"I have no mate or alpha female. I have been looking for a certain wolf in particular but it's been hard to find her. My beta is Erza, also known as Titania."

"Hmmm" she pondered. "If you can beat me is a race, I WILL join your pack, if not then I will decide whether or not I join deal?"

"Deal, but first, What is your name?" 

"Lucy, now first one to run around all of fairytail's territory. Ready, set GO!" 

We both spead off, running. Memories came flooding back. It was her! That female from all those years ago! She began to pick up her pace, so did I. She was faster. She finished first. I lay there panting.

"Impressive." She spoke. I passed out like an idiot, well actually I didn't, I just wanted to see what she did. She sniffed me and then rolled her big blue/brown/blue eyes. She obviously shifted into a human, but I couldn't see her because my eyes were closed. She left for a second before returning, she put a mint like leaf on my nose. When i inhaled, I felt myself shift. Mmmmm She should share that with our healer Porliusica. She shifted to a wolf and gently picked me up in her mouth. She held me gently. She sped off to my territory. She stopped at the boarder. I saw her hesitate. She soon got over it and began to march her way through. I knew everyone but Levy  would be scared. 

As she entered the camp, the others growled at her. She growled back. They soon realised that I was in her mouth. She gently lay my down before shifting back into a human, that weird mint thing still in hand. She placed the plant on may nose and left. Her body going back into her wolf form. I shifted to and slowly stood up. Wendy rushed to show her mentor. I was bombarded with questions but I just left to sleep.
