Chapter 14

Sting POV

I was sitting in a tree, just outside of camp, minding my own business while Yukino sat beside me. She joined a few days after me. She was 9, I was 10. She should never have come. It's pack law that a female can be mated to a Male by the time she is 16. At the age of 14, we males can choose which ever female we want. She can be 16, or she can be 20, it doesn't matter. I was close friends with Yukino growing up and beside the fact that she's 16, she hasn't been chosen yet, probably because there are no current single males.

I had heard stories about the great Layla Heartfilia. She ran away, just before she was to be chosen by Jehima himself, she fled with a rouge by the name of Jude. Layla was the best fighter in the whole packs history. We spent years tracking her, but to no avail. She even had a rouge pack, the Zodiacs and she was nicknamed the Celestial Dragon, or Celestial Queen.

When we last raided Fairytail, I spotted a small blue she-wolf. Barring the insignia. We were about to attack her when a golden she wolf appeared. She was bigger than even alpha. She had the size to rival Salamander. I had watched mesmerised as she took out our party. She eyes shifting from brown to blue. Her skills, impeccable. I stared at her, before we retreated, I spotted Salamander himself, seething. I thought that female was Layla, but it turns out, I couldn't be more wrong.

A few days ago, Rouge spied on them to collect data on our rivals, he spotted the board from where they had their 'epics' compatibility tests and saw the golden She-wolf's name and description on the board. Lucy. He later found out that she was the daughter of the great Layla. She was apparently way to big to the original. She is the last Elemental, and she belongs to the Sabers.

I will claim her as my own.

Natsu POV

A howl sounded  out, across the territory, I recognised it all too well. Sabertooth. And I had a feeling there were a lot of them. I sounded a warning howl, summoning three quarters of the pack and putting the  rest on high alert. Some had to protect the young, pregnant and elderly and I knew Sabertooth didn't care for those in need.

Lucy sprang up. Her body lowered. Her shoulders hunched. Her hackles raised. Her muzzle emitting strong growls. I stood up beside her. She gently leaned on my shoulder. She let out a howl, alerting the Sabres that we were coming. This would be fun
