Levy POV 

"Hey Natsu?" I call as I bang repeatedly on his door, Alphas have especially large houses, same with betas, and elders share one big house, usually next to the healers if the healer isn't an elder already. I had an idea earlier. That we do a physical exam and try figure out if each member is related to an epic. Since we did it a few years ago, it might be outdated, and there are new members. Also it's just really cool. I remember I didn't get the chance to be tested last time because I was to busy. I clutched the book to my chest as I awaited nervously. 

He finally opened the door, his hair tousled as usual and waring a tank top and shorts. 

"What?" He asked.

Explained how we should do the test again with the whole pack since last time, not everyone did it, and there are new guys. He agreed.

"Alright, tomorrow morning, we begin the trials tomorrow morning, I will alert the rest of the pack. You get everything ready." I yelped in delight while I w ent to find Lu. As expected, she was still moving into her alpha house. I explained what we were going to do and asked her to help. She agreed and we started working.

A few hours later there was:

AN OBSTACLE COURSE! There were different sections designed to test each wolf of the traits of the epics. There was also a visual examination where I would look at their physical characteristics and try match them up. The whole test would take about a week because of all of the wolves that were needing to be tested and explaining that if mates were both a descendant of the same epic, it didn't matter. There was an obstacle to test cold resistance, heat resistance, water, speed, personality and so on.

In the morning, Lucy and I watched one by one as each wolf completed the task.

It was Gray's turn. He attempted to balance above the pool but fell in, he came out soaked. He looked very uncomfortable. He was then almost melted in the heated zone. Thankfully he was saved by the Chilled zone. He wasn't the fastest when it came to running. The examination showed that he had grey fur and grey eyes, medium body build and a cold personality, we could comfortably say that Gray was a descendant of Frostylia. We repeated the process with the rest of the pack over the coarse of the week.

Natsu POV

Ok, my turn. I was feeling a little nervous. I didn't get to do this last time. I couldn't. I was busy. Now I'm not. I can finally be tested. I felt Luce's eye rake over me, pushing uncertainty through my body. 

I lept up onto the beam, it was so thin that it was thinner than my paws. I wobbled and fell off clumsyly. Embarrassed. The pool soaked me to th skin. That was not pleasant. Luckily, when I climbed out, I entered the heated zone and dried off. It was heaven. The whole time, I could feel her eyes on me. When it came to the cold zone, I was chilled to the bone.i was slightly winded when I arrived. As I crawled in, I saw Luce in the examination room. I blushed under my fur. She was in human form and wore a simple but professional looking shirt with pants and glasses. Her hair was in a bun. She obviously didn't fear me. We walked around my body, under my legs, inspected my tail, and wrote stuff down on her clipboard. She nodded thoughtfully.

"Well done Natsu. You are a descendant of Igneous. The fire wolf. You show strong resistance to heat, have a large body structure, pink/black fur and your personality fits perfectly. You may move on." She said calmly. No emotion showed in her eye. I felt a little hurt but attempted to hide it. I walked back out. Everyone asked what I was, but I told them to wait until all the results were shown on the board, as the rest of the pack had no clue.

Lucy POV

I saw the hurt in Natsu's eyes when I responded blankly. I wish I didn't. I watched as Levy succeeded at the thin plank, but when I told He to dive in the water, she half drowned. She was then melted in the heat section and frozen in the cool, and was very tired when she finished running. I did a quick body check and the results spoke that she was of Terro. I couldn't tell her of course. 

When I was my turn, I braved the plank easily. The swimming was as easy as walking, the heat was welcoming, and the chill, relaxing. As I ran over, I felt like I was flying. When I completed it, Levy did a quick body check. No on a behind me as I was the last one. He eyes widened.

"L—Lu........ you're of......... Anna."
