Witches and Hunters....

They have been to war for ages, an eternal loop, some would dare say.

Hunters take down any monster they can get their hands on; that is a well known fact, heartless to the bone.

Witches are the biggest threats to all humans, since they can use magic. These creatures are considered first rate kills for Hunters.

On the other hand, witches will kill Hunters on the spot and do it with no mercy.

Some of them enjoy their screams since they do it for their fallen sisters and brothers from ages before now.

I stood there from the window and watched the man who killed his own kind. I looked at Zoro and sat next to him. "I don't know what's going on but I will protect you.", I whispered.

He moved in his sleep and slowly he opened his good eye and looked at me. "What happened?", he asked. I briefly explained and reassured him that everything was okay, as I removed his bandages and helped him sit up.

We heard the door downstairs close and we both walked down stairs to see what was wrong. There at the door stood that man they called Crocodile; he mumbled something and the house started to change back to its normal clean state.

"Magic..", I mumbled. Crocodile turned and faced us and I could feel Zoros arms wrap around me protectively. "Are you two okay?", asked the Hunter. I nodded and Zoro replied with a simple yes.

The vampires all started to gather and surround the man. We sat far from him and I looked at Zoro wounds and frowned. Law came into the room and sat by us; we said a quick hello and just sat in silence.

"Looks like we'll be able to breathe easy now... Crocodile has made a point out of all this and the Hunters have backed down.", mumbled Law.

"What about the Witch?", I asked. Law sighed and looked at the floor boards. "Well be keeping her for now, shes a danger to let go right at the moment.", explained Law. 

"Who exactly is she?", I asked out loud. "A witch that works for the Hunters and a Head Witch.", explained Law. Zoro walked outside and I followed after him; he stood there and looked at the sky.

"Why did she try to kill you?", I asked him. He didn't move and it felt like he stopped breathing. "I killed her mate...", he mumbled and became a wolf. I reached out to him and he was gone; I looked down at the ground while the tears blurred my vision.

I entered the house and looked for the witch. I ran down to the basement and looked at her tied up and surrounded by spells. "How did your lover die?", I asked.
She looked up at me and sighed.

"You're the murders bitch; why would I tell you how my beloved died?", she growled.
"I beg of you... I want to know what happened.", I bowed. I heard her come closer; she had tears coming down her face and looked at me. 

"My coven and his pack were united with our marriage. Their Alpha was nothing but a mere child in my eyes at the beginning, I didn't think our marriage would last. I was bitter about our union.", she paused and her face was was lost in thought.

"My husbands name was Luffy; Zoro was his right hand man. They had grown together along with Luffys brothers. After a while of being married, I had fallen for Luffy and he cared for all of us.", she sighed. I let her take her time and sat their in silence.

"One day there had been reports of Hunters in our area and Luffy and Zoro went. Zoro came back himself covered in injuries but the Hunters had killed Luffy ", she breathed.

She explained that her only choice was to exile Zoro and that was the punishment he was cursed with. "The others can never forgive him. They want him dead, I can't kill him.. He was like a older brother to Luffy, this is the least I can do.", she finished.

I nodded and started to walk up the stairs. "They will kill you along with him, I am sorry for that.", she whispered. I left out the front door and became a wolf; I searched for Zoro.

I found him on a cliff, far from the vampires home. I rubbed my head against his and he did the same. "Im sorry you're stuck with me, (y/n).", he mumbled.

"Theres no one I'd pick over you, love.", I mumbled back. We laid there together and enjoyed ourselves and gazed at the stars over us. Then we became humans and kissed; he gripped my hips and made me straddle him.
